My skin looked worse than expected to Camille upon initial observation, so my treatment was increased to $375 for a different treatment. I was already lying down upon being swayed with the idea and did not have a choice, and I accepted because I was desperate for an improvement in my skin. For the entirety of the treatment, Camille was selling me on different products for my acne. I have no problem with skincare products, but I prefer silent facial treatments. As I was a new customer, I agreed to everything she was influencing me on. The red flag was that she never mentioned prices. To make a long story short, my total came out to over $700 as a first-timer (I attached receipts for my first and second appointment, which was over $500). The products did help my skin, which is why I chose to come back a second time, where I also set a third appointment. After my bank account had been drained the first two times, I was still open to returning for a third time. However, I contacted Camille prior to the date, to let her know I got COVID and couldn't make it. I was told she had no openings until MONTHS later. I let her know that the wait was fine with me. But, I was never scheduled for an appointment. Her availability month came along, and I never got a notice. If you are someone on a budget, or need an esthetician who is understanding of cancelations, this place is not for you. Also, the products sold at this establishment (Biologique Recherche or Osmosis) can be found on Amazon, or other spas in the LA area.

I felt so pushed and frustrated I gave in then couldn't wait to get out. Really disappointed it wasn't a relaxing experience and it's WAY overpriced. The moment she finally walked in to take me, I entered the treatment room and politely asked for a small mirror from Lilly Since I had never been to her before, I simply wanted to see the process while she shaped my eyebrows. That is a completely reasonable request and i have been to many places and they never had any issue with that Just holding a mirror and checking the job while it done.. Instead of responding professionally, Lilly immediately became rude, cold, and hostile. She refused to treat me as a client and essentially threw me out because I asked Lilly for a mirror. I was left feeling embarrassed and humiliated in front of everyone in the salon over something so simple. Lilly grabbed the mirror from my hand in a aggressive way next to a full salon. Apparently i found this was the Owner Named Lilly. This is not how you treat your customer and i will absolutely make everyone aware of that incident that i never expected from a business owner. If you treat your clients this way i am afraid to think how you treat your employees Lily made me leave in a really bad feeling and heavy thoughts feeling humiliated. If you're considering giving any business to Lily be aware of how she treat her clients .Lilly's attitude was incredibly unwelcoming, unprofessional, and disrespectful. No customer deserves to be treated that way. There are plenty of beauty salons that know how to treat clients with basic kindness and respect. Unfortunately, this is not one of them.

When I arrived, the tech asked me to wait until 5:00 instead. I declined, and she rushed through fixing my nails -- leaving gel underneath, crooked thumbnails, and nails that are already lifting again. This is highly unacceptable, especially at this price point. The service was unprofessional, the work was sloppy, and the nails did not last at all. I will never return and cannot recommend this salon. The reviews were decent so I tried it out. I called, spoke to Helen & got an appointment the same day, in the evening. I specifically asked her if they use iGel Beauty Dip Powder bec that's what I had on my nails already & she confirmed. I arrive, all lights are off, salon closed (Nooooo!!!). I call Helen asking about parking in the rear (per Yelp reviews) & where was everyone. She says they don't actually have parking in the rear and she would be 5 mins late. I parked out front at the metered parking & waited. She & her team did not take long. Myself & another client enter. The salon has massage chairs with attached foot baths. They line the foot baths with a single use plastic covering. They all wore masks as did we (the clients). There's a movable protective sheild for when they are doing your feet. Helen was very helpful and patient assisting me select a color for my hands. I wanted to use OPI gel polish. I brought in my own polish for my feet. I ask again about the iGel Beauty Dip Powder. She says they only have the color dip powed in that brand then proceeds to use whatever powder that's in her silver tins. Ummm, OK. I will excuse her snipping a piece of my actually nail off, some meat & making me bleed due to her being a bit rough and rushed. After she saw me bleeding she slowed down but showed no emotion that she just ripped a piece of my nail off. I know, I know, most people would have gotten the heck otta Dodge. I guess I'm one that sits thru the movie even when it sucks, LOL. The gentleman was meticulous at massaging my feet. My super dry feet feel so soft and my calves loved his hands. Oh and I loved that hot stone! I think I will try that at home. Helen did a decent job removing my old polish, sanding my nails and polishing. The whole, using one arm of the massage chair to do both hands was a bit uncomfortable. I ended up not using an OPI gel polish becauseI wanted to match my toes. She was nice when trying to find a match. She missed some corners during the hand polish. She ended up finishing my pedicure w/o drawing blood, LOL. Ultimately, I got a regular pedicure no bells or whistles (I only get my feet done because I can't polish neatly. Other than that, I normally do my own feet. So no extras for me.) with regular Essie polish and powder dip fill manicure with gel polish. The whole process took 1 hr 50 mins. I paid $25 for feet and $40 for nails. IDK, seems pricey to me but I'm from NYC so maybe these are LA prices, whatever, all good...well maybe I feel this way due to my blood loss, haa haa. Will I return? Let's wait to see if my finger doesn't fall off first, LOL. Other than BloodGate and the missed polish spots it was an OK experience. I actually love my nail color. Oh and the reviewer that mentioned them not taking plastic, Helen said their credit card maching "was not working" but I could pay using Venmo or Zelle...So yeah, will I return....IDK....
