Both reps were quick, professional, and knew exactly what they were doing. They also cleaned up after themselves and even went the extra mile to fill in any holes in the walls that were made during the repairs, which I really appreciated. Definitely recommend them. One helpful tip: if you need a service rep who speaks English fluently, especially if you have a repair that requires a lot of explaining, just mention that when making your appointment. They were able to assign the right person for us, which made everything super easy!

From the friendly receptionist (I apologize as I don't recall her name), to Mitch (who I believe is the owner), to the two technicians who came by, everyone was incredibly profession and proficient. Intelectric came out to quote me the very same day I called. The quote was more than reasonable, and they finished the job in less than a day, cleaning up after themselves. It was truly an exceptional experience. While you never hope to have to call an electrician, when you need an electrician, your first and only call should be to Intelectric.

I caught both Nikita and Donat RED-HANDED trespassing on my property USING MY GARAGE CODE TO ENTER MY HOME... TWO MONTHS AFTER I FIRED THEM. They claim they "left some tools behind" so that's why they were accessing my property WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Really? Seriously? As if they have the right to use my garage code to enter my home at any time? I tried to keep my calm tho I was freaking out, asked them to please leave. I have an appointment I have to get to on time and to call/text me whatever it is they needed. They had the audacity to refuse to leave AFTER I just caught them red-handed trespassing, stood in front of my car preventing me to leave. WTF. I lost it. On my own property. I called Security and found out they had another job in our gated community. So basically, these Russian contractors deemed it totally acceptable to come by my house in the middle of the day, believing nobody was home and just go through my home? To steal or God knows what they were up to. I feel violated and still shocked they think it's okay to do such a thing. They've been warned by Security... should they make another attempt like they did on this day dated January 17th -or- even dare to come anywhere close to my home again, the police will get involved. I filed a police report to have this on record that I caught them red-handed about to enter my garage. As far as their qualifications for contractor job... I had high hopes when I chose this father and son team based on the other 5-star reviews and since their bids were comparable to another contractor. However very soon we realized as the job started that they were unreliable and basically don't know what they were doing. They "learnt" how to put up drywall a year ago by watching YouTube videos. And also turned out they are not licensed. Since they don't know what they are going, and kept asking me "what needs to get done" or "ask Home Depot what tools and materials are needed", their quotes are not reliable. Be warned if you discuss any jobs with them, they would end up asking for more money because "it took more work, time and effort" even when they agreed to the job and estimate. And trust me... the language barrier is REAL. Lots of mistakes on part 1 of the job putting up drywall. And part 2 painting was a botched job with paint leaked over our brown painted garage door. There were other mistakes made that cost us more money to hire someone else to fix. We couldn't keep working with them for part 3 of the project, it was a waste of our time and money, and mostly really stressful. Nikita is the son, barely 18 or 19? He 'translates' for his father Donat who doesn't speak English and never shows up earlier than 1pm to start any work because he has personal things to do. They are consistently unreliable and hard to schedule -- always saying they have other bigger jobs that seems more important for them to do. It was a major headache trying to get them to do anything and we highly regret hiring them... And now after catching them entering my home thinking nobody is home -- just proves even more so what kind of people they are. I'm beyond sick of dealing with "nice" contractors who turn out to be nothing but dishonest, scammers and untrustworthy... and now I can add trespassing on my property to my list of horror contractors stories.

I got a quote, there was a little confusion when the worker came out about the work that was supposed to get done, fixing my door, frame, trim and threshold - but we worked it out. The worker completed the frame and as we agreed. That's the extent of the work that was satisfactory. The work he did to fit the door, frame and new threshold were truly awful. Slapped a piece of wood onto the bottom of the door to make it fit the new frame and a lazy sloppy paint job, and then the door would not close correctly. The worker returned another day to fix the door, it closed correctly for maybe a week, then would not close correctly. I asked them to come fix the sloppy paint job and door, the worker returned at night and somehow did an impossibly worse paint job and the door still does not close correctly. They came out a 3rd time, door does not close correctly. I asked them to come fix the job AGAIN, and they insisted I have to pay them now to fix it - a third time - THE DOOR THEY JUST INSTALLED THAT WON'T EVEN CLOSE. That's tops on the list of what I want a door to do ya know? ON top of all this they used wood for the threshold on an exterior door - not metal, and painted it white, so it immediately got destroyed. The trim around the door is already coming apart off the wall, the shoddy threshold is warped and has separated from the ground. It was just not a good job , and the worker was so indignant about how the job was underquoted and how hard it was etc etc. I think it was his own incompetence and they just didn't posses the skills to do the job correctly. If they didn't feel comfortable using the existing door and building the new frame, they should have passed or used a pre hung door. I will never hire them for any work again. And to top things off the worker demanded payment from my wife for the "completed" job while I was away at work - because it took so long to finish I had to leave - she paid them not knowing any better...Everyone lost here , they felt like they didn't get paid enough, I'm not happy with the work and will have to spend more money to get it fixed...ln the end these guys were only a Mighty Headache.

This was pretty shady and I eventually called Mr. Handyman to tell them what had happened. The person I spoke to, Jack, who apologized and was very nice and offered to refund at for the estimate and he set up a second estimate. That person came and bid it at substantially less than the first tech, reinforcing my thought that the first person had inflated the estimate so that he could get the work himself. By that time, though, a neighbor had passed on the name of someone who bid the job much lower than even the second Mr. Handyman estimate. And to make matters worse, they never followed through with refunding us the money for the bogus first estimate. So overall, disappointed in this service and do not recommend.
