Called them up sometime last week and told them what my problem was and A.J, (the manager), sent a guy by the name of Alex today to fix/repair my kitchen cabinet door and the floor. Appointment was at 11AM and they showed up 10 minutes prior. So punctual! A.J. and Alex were so patient, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. The work was done in less than 2 hours. He even polished the floor and the cabinets. They also specialize in Drywall installation, Drywall repair, Floor installation, Siding installation, Electrical, Water damage repairs, and remodeling any part of your home, apartment, & office. Before the visit, the company was very diligent about scheduling and keeping me aware of the arrival time. The main service I needed was removing some cabinetry in order to access the back of my refrigerator. Their repairman was knowledgeable and well-equipped to remove some kitchen cabinetry for me, as well as fix some poorly-functioning doors throughout my house. He was very efficient with his time. He arrived right on time within the 9-10 a.m. window and immediately inspected the issue before starting any work. Within seconds, he identified the root cause -- the original builder had installed the door frame incorrectly, causing it to slowly shift over time and make the door sag. The company charges $80 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Alex explained everything clearly and estimated he could finish within the two-hour window, which he did. After completing the job, the door opened and closed smoothly, and I went ahead and paid him. As he was leaving, I noticed the door lock bolt wasn't closing quite right. I caught him in the hallway, and without hesitation, he came back, grabbed another tool from his truck, and spent another 10 minutes fine-tuning it until everything lined up perfectly. He didn't charge me extra for that additional time, which I really appreciated. Although Alex's English wasn't perfect, he communicated clearly and was extremely patient throughout the small language barrier. Beyond expectations! West LA Handyman service closed up 6 rooms that just had mini-splits installs but refrigerant lines had to be run through the drywalls and opened up. Not only did the walls get patched perfectly but they also matched the paint color perfectly and did a seamless job of painting it such that you can't tell the drywall was ever opened up at all. Fixed my sprinklers, too. We got a little damage on the roof from the Eaton fires/wind. The pro came promptly, hopped up on the roof (they're fully insured and bonded) and took care of my concerns. Other repair services wanted me to replace jambs and other expensive repairs, but it just required new weatherstripping, stripping that I could not do myself. It required removing the door, having the tools to do the job and strength to lift a heavy wood door. They made sure to get the right color and make adjustments. They did a fantastic job!
