We hired this company to move on 12/4/19 and they were very friendly & seemed to be thorough to the point that I tipped just the movers $100 for their full day service. They did credit us $40 for a bench of our dining table they broke, but assured us he'd fix it and he said he did, then we sat on it 2 days later and it literally collapsed to the floor on my husband whose 6", 180 lbs (a skinny guy), so it was not only severely scratched up but ruined and this was a table & 2 benches we paid $850 for just 1.5 years ago. Then we noticed 2 living room type chairs were wobbly/loose. Then we had a side table's leg fall off and the table fell within 1" of our 5 months head... I hope they're thankful my lawyer father isn't drawing up a lawsuit this minute had it even scratched our son upon falling. Then we had another side table/nightstand whose leg ALSO broke off when we just picked it up to move it to another room. The 3 silver bar stool chairs got extremely scratched up, very noticeably. The entry table with 2 little drawers is now excessively loose at the top as if it could come straight off. I initially gave a great review the day of, but clearly this was a rush job not done well and very careless. Wish we had moved ourselves. I understand I signed a waiver for possible damage, which I would understand for 1 or maybe 2 items of minimal damage, but this is beyond excessive damage, the cost to repair all these items are over $1000 so will be updating my initial review to reflect these issues, warn others & reporting to the BBB read more

AWESOME! 10/10 would do it again - I would also recommend them to friends and family. These guys showed up right on time and moved me from a 2 level apartment to an apartment an hour and a half away on the 3rd floor with stair access. I have a ton of stuff, and most of my boxes were either really heavy, or fragile. I was surprised at how fast and efficient they were, they made it look really easy. All the movers I've looked into are priced about the same, I feel like their price was fair, and so worth it - this is the best and easiest moving day I have ever had. Pierce and Seth were really amazing. I have moved dozens of times in my life and this was by far the most enjoyable. Usually moving ends in bruises and at least one or two incidents of swearing vehemently at your spouse because you got stuck on the heavy end. Exhausted and dirty you collapse and swearing off ever moving again. Then you remember you have to clean and return the rental truck before you can actually rest. Well I can attest that I would move another dozen times if I can hire Helpful Movers to do the work for me. They were polite, punctual, and professional. They quickly got to work and carefully packed all our belongings into the truck. Nothing was broken or damaged. (I'm use to losing at least something along the way.) Worth every penny!!! Really after you think about that rental, the swearing, the multiple trips (because you didn't get a big enough truck), and the random friends/relatives that resent you a bit more afterwards, it's a lot cheaper to hire these guys in the long run. read more

Awesome!! Yea! The best! These kids were helpful, careful, kind, considerate, and CARED about our items, our home, and everything they should have!! They packed, wrapped, and CAREFULLY moved every item in our home to three different locations for us. Up and down stairs, in and out of little tiny cellar rooms.. YOU name the misery they faced and took it head on. I tried to feed and water them.. not a chance! (hehehehe) Pros all the way. If you need someone to move you-hire them. They are the only moving company in Northern Utah that comes to help on a dime and works until you are moved. Believe me, I called five. Not one would come without about fifty "extra charges" ... So thankful to this company for helping us out with a long distance move on very short notice. Kyler was able to send someone out to get a quote at 7:30 pm that same evening (something you will not be able to do with some bigger companies) and moved us, across the country, with only 2 weeks notice. They did go over their quote and the gentleman were not quite thorough with packing (be sure you're there to get everything you need out of the house, and especially if certain things need to stay). I cannot recommend this company enough! Kyler, Casey, Levi and Duncan were absolutely terrific. Not only did they work with us on short notice, they came to our home on two consecutive Saturdays to move some (not all) items to a storage unit. They took the time to carefully go through our house with us again and again, making sure everything that needed to move was moved and everything that needed to stay, stayed. They were careful in protecting and packing our items and were extremely professional. Lastly, I could not believe how well they packed our storage unit! They fit more in than I ever though possible. We're only moving out of the valley for a year and will definitely call them to move us back into our home when the time comes. GREAT company, GREAT guys!! read more

Amazing is all I can say. They are honest and reasonably priced. Everything was handled with care and set up and even moved somethings more than once. The two gentlemen and handled to moving were awesome. I will be using them again and I have no problem with the price everything was up front and in writing. Even though they had an initial minimum it was well worth the cost. Price around and you will be amazed at just how reasonable they are. THE BEST MOVING COMPANY I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!!! I hired Kyler a couple of weeks ago to pack up and move my entire 5 bedroom + 3 bath house from the Lundstrum park area to a nearby storage unit. This was a HUGE job and I wasn't even able to be there for it! I trusted Kyler and his team to handle the move on their own and with a little help from my neighbor and he was amazing. They showed up on time and finished within 6 hours... the cost was exactly what he said it would be and it was a great deal even with a big tip! I have used 5 different moving companies over the past 10 years since my job requires my to move around a lot, and I can safely say that Helpful Movers are hands down the best and most professional moving company I have ever worked with. They are all clean cut, professional, VERY HARD WORKING, and I will recommend them to anyone who asks. It is amazing to me that such a young guy like Kyler has his priorities figured out so early in life too! They charged me more than they originally quoted me. The trailer they moved my stuff in had dirt and hay in it and got all over my stuff. They got a 5 inch very noticeable snag in my almost new couch. They required a 90 minute minimum and I only needed an hour, so it was a waste of money and they're hourly rate is high. They got lost for 15+ minutes trying to find my storage unit and it was, of course, on my dime. read more

We will not use them again. They quoted my husband a price with two guys. They sent 3 guys, my husband then made sure they knew he only requested two. They assured my husband that was fine. In unloading our stuff they used a hand truck for very light boxes, threw boxes marked fragile on the ground, one of the men kept swearing in front of my kids, they were rude, disrespectful to me, took several "breaks", they went at snails place chatting about inappropriate things. And then when all was done the owner tried to charge us way more than agreed upon acting as though we were in the wrong. Terrible experience and I would not recommend them at all!!! read more
