I'm embarrassed to admit that I've used this company twice, but never again. They damaged 2 items moving in, and another 2 items moving out. They showed up 4 HOURS LATE, brought 2 extra movers (which I did not agree to). These movers were not needed because we already had 5 other total people of our own to help. We hired them a 2nd time and it wasn't the greatest, it took longer and cost more than expected. They took smoke breaks which the smell sucked - one of the guys just made us really uncomfortable he showed up later than the rest, they pressured us to pay in cash - which was fine, I went and took out cash but even then the other guy kept making comments about how well we better be tipping. I scheduled 2 movers and a truck to move a 1-BR apartment. The movers arrived separately, and in the end there were 4 movers on the job (they were available between jobs) so the move was quite fast. All 4 movers were great, efficient, hard working, and attentive to packaging and protecting moved items. And the cost was assessed by mover-hours in small time increments, so it didn't really matter how many movers were on the job, very fair and accurately logged. This company is the best in the business - bare none. I've used Kingsley on 2 home moves (including hot tubs) and most presently for moving and assembling a very large & super heavy BBQ cabinet that I shipped to my house on a pallet. His crew (very cool group) stayed after dark to assembling a very complicated Kamado Joe grill (spring loaded hood assembly). These guys really care & saved me a ton of money and heartache - it's hard to find good folks like this. Strong, friendly, organized, smart and experienced, and well equipped. Initial contact went well. I was given a time in early afternoon. When I did not hear from them I called they were running behind and should be there by 4:00 well that came and went I called again and got an apology for waiting all day and would receive $50 discount. They showed up at 7:00 I only had a few pieces of furniture where they moved it by elevator from 4th floor to the 1st floor 40 minutes total and for that I was charged $225.00 In my opinion this was an awful experience and over charged. When I called prior to 7:00 he said he was sorry I was even added to the schedule because it was late and they wanted to go home too. I'd say, don't take that risk. they completely ignored "heavy", "fragile" and "this side up" notices on the box so we had things upside down and fragile boxes under heavy boxes. a few dishes were shattered as was a bottle of Pennies in a clearly marked box. it ended up being double the price. it was just a really disappointing experience. He was so friendly and wonderful to work with on the phone as we were setting everything up and hiring them.but when the move was going on and problems started piling up that communication stopped. he wouldn't text me back. The move was scheduled for 5/29/25. I confirmed this on 5/20 with all the details of the move, which was accepted by Kingsley. I contacted him on 5/23 and 5/27 to confirm the time and date. On 5/29/35, they didn't show up at 4:30pm. I was told "I think it'll be at least a couple hours. I should have a better idea in about half an hour" @ 4:31pm. I heard nothing from Kingsley by 7:30pm, so contacted him. He said they were "almost done". I heard nothing at 9:22pm, I called and got sent to voicemail. I texted the voicemail I left. He called back and said they were in Lehi....while I was in downtown....it was 9:30pm. The next day, 5/30, they show up at 10am with 5 guys. I only asked for 4-person crew. The extra guy left after an hour (and I was charged for his time). The other 4 guys took 8 hours to move a 2bd apartment to another 2bd apartment. I had packed everything (including the mattresses and sofas) before the move. All they had to do was disassemble and reassemble the bed frames. Ultimately, 1 of the 4 guys was really sick and couldn't do much for the 5 hours I was charged for him. They came unprepared for the job, so I got them a cooler of water and drinks to stay hydrated. They broke all but 1 of my ceramics flower pots in a box covered with labels of "Fragile". My dresser is missing chunks and listing badly (the legs are cracked). And, they left without assembling 1 of 2 of my beds - I did it myself and if I had not done it myself the bed would still be unfinished as of writing this review - even though on the receipt they indicated they would come back and assemble it. Terrible company. Not a word from Kingsley about the terrible job. The moving guys were nice and friendly, but I would never use or recommend this company; I have shared this experience with friends and colleagues as well. read more

I'm torn between 2 and 3 stars. The cons: 1. Movers had to push the day by one day due to being overbooked, and then arrived 40 minutes late due to truck issues (understandable as trucks can have issues h that morning they confirmed things were on track). 2. They ended up sending 2 additional guys (so 6 instead of 4) which in theory seems nice but didn't seem like it was very efficient as the home has small walkways and we have to pay by the mover so we ended up paying more overall then expected (yes it was probably done faster but also there was waiting for people to move around each other so we do think had they only sent 4 it would have been cheaper overall). At the very least it would have been nice to have the option rather than expecting 4 and getting 6. 3. We were charged a fee for moving a safe (again understandable) but the issue we had was this was not made known to us until after the fact so there wasn't much we could do and we would have opted out of the $200 fee and moved it ourselves. The pros: The movers were nice, polite, and did a good job overall (nothing broken and they were done after 2.5 hours. The conclusion: The issue was was overall it was more expensive than quoted due to the extra movers and the safe, & as well as being delayed a day (which lead to more pto being taken for the move and more stress than necessary). I would probably opt for a different company in the future since it did make everything more stressful. read more

Horrible moving company. Very, very unprofessional owner and team. I urge everyone to work with another company. Everything I am writing here is 100% true. I hired them to unload a truck that came in from out of state. Besides the fact the movers showed up two hours late, asked for a tip numerous times, complained that I didn't help move stuff, littered my area with orange peels from the oranges I gave them, tried to pad the hours they worked; the way the owner handled my claim that they damaged an irreplaceable sculpture my Dad made me is why I'm writing. Simply put, I maintained that they scratched the artwork when they removed it from the truck, removed the moving blanket and carried it to my condo. On the other hand, the owner, Kingsley said it was chipped in the moving truck by that moving company. I told him that was impossible because a) it was wrapped in a moving blanket until his guys carried it up the steps and b) not only was it protected by a moving blanket in the truck, because the sculpture was nestled between other items, there is no way the sculpture could be scrapped or chipped. We went back and forth on this on the phone numerous times, until finally he sent an employee out to look at the sculpture. The guy inspected it and agreed with me. I thought, "Finally, we will resolve this situation," Unfortunately, the owner Kingsley is now ghosting me. His last text to me read, "Can I touch base with you later on this evening or tomorrow?" Needless to say, I haven't heard from him and I'm forced to take to yelp and other forums. I mean seriously, what type of business owner just goes silent when sorting out a problem? I'll tell you, one that you need to avoid. Bottom line: there are lots of other movers out there and I urge you to use them. read more

Extra Space Storage is a very nicely laid out facility. And their website is very user friendly. I've rented from these guys twice in the past couple of years and have worked with Nathan both times. He is very courteous and thoughtful with seeing how he can accommodate you and getting you what you need. Unless you want to overpay for all of your decent furniture to go unwrapped, dropped, thrown, stacked, soiled, and ruined, then do not use this group (please see my images). I have used The Movers 123 no less than four times -- once in 2014, again in 2016, and then twice (a delayed move that included moving everything into a storage unit for a month) this year. This is not an impulsive review. Their tactic seems to be to send you an overstaffed crew who works as slow as possible to milk their hourly sum (not entirely uncommon in this space), but what really threw me was the carelessness with which they handled everything I own. Further, not only did I tip each guy cash mid-move (both times), and then again at the end of the job -- I was told by the one who seemed to be the crew leader that he would come back and clean my soiled sofa. Needless to say, I never heard back. Other things I did to take care of the crew: provided drinks, went out and bought more drinks (when we were at the storage unit), ordered in lunch, ordered in dinner... If you have the time and you have things you care about (as most people do, and im not talking about monetary value), do not use these guys. You will absolutely regret it, and will only add undue stress to an already stressful event. read more

They are kind and careful with your things. I will tell everyone I know about them because every time they have gone above and beyond. I scheduled to have my belongings moved from two pods to an apartment. I met two movers at the pods and asked to sign a contract and note the start time. They said we use a verbal time and then told me their truck wasn't big enough. So they loaded what they could and that truck and another truck came with two more movers and they loaded the remaining items on their truck. When arrived at the apartment rather than use a hand truck they carried the items into the apartment and were as slow and many of movers were hanging outside in the truck while I was in the apartment telling where to put everything. 3 men in my apartment presented the bill. They charged me for the first truck 2 men for 5 hours at $110 per hour and charged me for the second truck 2 men for 3 hours at $110. They also added additional charges with the bill totaling $1,135. I complained and knew I had been scammed and they settled on $900. In Texas when my pods were loaded, I paid a team of movers $155 for 2 men per hour and my total bill was $627 including everything. They saw that I was an older lady by myself and decided to take advantage of me. Feeling Scammed. read more

Used Yelp to contact many moving companies in the area. All but 2 couldn't accommodate the day and time for my dad. The 1-2-3 Movers came in the cheapest and had the most 5 star reviews of the lot. So glad to have found them. They showed up 10 minutes early and had 3 big strong dudes that could each lift a full grand piano. :-) They packed everything up like fine china and moved it in an orderly fashion. Nothing was damaged or scratched and they finished so quickly we couldn't keep up with getting the stuff organized. Yesterday afternoon, after writing my initial review, one of Kingsley's men, the head person from my move, stopped by my house, and actually apologized face to face. He had mentioned that he felt it was more powerful and important to do it face to face, than via text, to which I totally agreed. He also brought me in a brand new table that was already assembled, and was similar to the Ikea table they broke during the move, but didn't tell me about. That was super amazing and goes a long way towards providing excellent and personalized service. There are so many moving companies these days that would not have done this at all. I am the Property Manager at Public Storage in Midvale. I was out on the property and heard these guys talking and laughing and they had some music playing so I went over to investigate and they had a large truck and they were moving furniture and other items into a storage unit on the property. There were 3 of them and they were moving quickly but I noticed that they were handling things carefully, and having a good time while doing it. They emptied that very large truck in about an hour. They filled up two large storage units. I asked the owner of the items that they were moving if he liked the job they did afterwards, and he said that they did a very good job. So, I give them a thumbs-up all the way around, for customer service and doing things quickly and carefully--they know what they are doing! read more
