I accidentally shattered my phone the other day which I use for work and needed to get fixed quickly. Help me repair allows walk ins and has a huge supply of extra parts. 8/15/20 My son cracks his iPhone 11 screen literally the night before we were leaving to move him into college. The phone was 2 weeks new. Panicked, I went onto Yelp and found Helpmerepair.com. Most Apple stores are not open or require appointments too far out. Jerson was extremely responsive and his online scheduling system was easy to navigate. He arrived right on schedule and replaced my son's screen in 30 minutes flat from his car! So impressed. One thing I feel iffy about is the coloration of the screen; is more warm and dimmer compared to the original Apple screen. Jerson's really got it all when it comes to customer service, communication, and ease of repair. First off, he comes to you and is flexible with his scheduling to make it work on your time. He replaced an iPhone X screen for me and was transparent in explaining the differences between screens along with risks and insurance policies associated with each change. My phone screen worked, but Face ID wasn't and he was immediately able to come back an hour later to work on the phone again to troubleshoot and fix it. EXCELLENT service! All you need to know is stop looking for other places and call them now. We are return customers! Asked for a quote last night and Jerson came out today to us. He was masked and kindly offered to do the repair in his truck even though we had an outdoor patio. Super polite, professional and efficient. 30 min later my cracked iPhone 8 Plus screen was repaired and a protector put on. He wrapped it nicely and explained their warranty. I can't recommend Jerson at Help Me Repair enough! I dropped my phone and damaged my screen. I found Jerson through an online search and decided to give him a try. I sent in an online request at midnight and he responded first thing the next morning. He was able to come to me that same day and fix my screen. Son shattered his iPad screen and I needed to get it fixed pronto. Went to a couple shops and they didn't have the screen and quoted as much as 250 to replace. Got in touch with Jerson thru Yelp and he quoted 125 flat rate, pickup from my house and return same day. When he showed up I figured I should get my daughters cracked screen fixed too and Jerson checked that that screen was in stock then took 30 off the price to fix them both. He sent Victor over to my apartment same day. Definitely bonus points for responsiveness and convenience. Victor showed up and quickly replaced my screen. However, there was an issue with the proximity sensor with this first screen. Victor said he was getting another shipment of parts that might be a better fit for my phone, as he had only one iPhone 11 screen with him at the time, so he let me know that he would come back when he got the new part and replace the screen again with the better new part. I understand that given the pandemic, shipments of parts are being delayed. This was fine for me because my cracked screen was fixed, at least aesthetically. Unfortunately, with both screen replacements Victor provided, I had similar issues. I noticed the screen was not as responsive to touch as before. The two biggest issues that ultimately led me to bite the bullet and go the "Apple-certified" route to replace the screen again was ghost touches and inability to turn on in direct sunlight. When looking at my phone in full sunlight, even when pressing on the sleep/awake button repeatedly, the screen would not turn on. Further, I had a lot of ghost touches especially in iMessage which drove me absolutely insane because the phone would detect random touches here and there that led to me reacting to messages I didn't mean to react to, or even worse, facetiming people I had no intention of facetiming (including my boss lol). I would have reached out to Brian or Victor again as they warranty their work, but I've moved out of their service area, and I'm not sure they could've done anything to fix these issues. I'm so sad to write this review because I otherwise had a great experience with the replacement process, and I believe that Mobile iPhone Repair is a great service for older iPhones. I just wanted to let other owners of newer iPhones (11+) know that maybe the non-authorized route isn't worth the savings due to all the controls Apple has put in place to make it difficult to use a third-party service. Super shitty of Apple to do, I know - but I'd hate for anyone else to go through the hassle. Since I've had the screen replaced by an Apple-certified service, I've had none of the issues mentioned above.

It was late last night when I asked for a quote through yelp and Brian was the first response in the morning. There were other companies with the same price but had computerized / standard responses. I chose iPhone Repair Guy b/c his response was detailed and answered every question I had. The yelp app makes it easy to schedule and appt. and Brian responded right away. If I could give this business a 6 star review I would give it without hesitation. I lost communication with them. Thought it was a lost cause since my phone was water damaged beyond any use. I did manage to send them my location on their website. I was on my way back from lunch when I see Jerson waiting in the parking lot. He waited a whole hour while I was at lunch! This man deserves some props. He is the founder of the company and carries a lot of the company's weight himself, since it is operated as a small local business.
