Now that we figured it out, we received a scrip to have an iron infusion to help her progress and were treated so poorly by Dr. Singer and her reception team we will not be back. Note, we did not receive said iron infusion. Where to begin? First, her team let three weeks pass without returning my call to request an appointment. In a last ditch effort, I called again and got something scheduled. We were turned away when we first arrived for something that could easily be solved with paperwork. If it weren't for my mom's quick thinking, we would have had to make another 45 minute drive to the office. I think the only intelligence and kindness came from the intern. Dr. Singer was condescending to my daughter, making comments like, "you're the teenager, I'm sure you can look it up on your phone" and reduced my daughter's serious ailments to her poor diet (this is not the cause of her anemia). No bedside manner, no sympathy or compassion. My mother asked if she would be receiving instructions for her and Dr. Singer replied, "What don't you get?" before looking at my daughter and telling her she'd better take notes for her grandmother, implying my mother is senile. I can't decide if I'm more baffled that she didn't follow the scrip she was given to give my child iron (remember, her iron is so low she hasn't attended brick and mortar school consistently for three years), the ageism she spewed at my 16 year old daughter and 70 year old mother, or that she charged me a $50 copay to basically pat us on the head and recommend supplements. We were there because the supplements didn't work. Never again. I guess since my daughter doesn't appear sick enough she's an easy target. Rude, flippant, unprofessional. Tell your friends.

I have never written a negative review of a physician before, but I feel it is important to share…read morethis experience. I previously visited this office and rescheduled my appointment for the following week in order to meet my Medicare deductible. At that time, I was informed by the receptionist that my payment would be $100. When I arrived for the rescheduled appointment, I was told the amount due was $180. I explained that I was not prepared to pay that amount that day but could reschedule for the following day and pay once I received my paycheck. I was told payment was required on the date of service and that I had been informed of the $180 previously, which was not accurate. While calmly texting my husband to confirm rescheduling, the physician came to the front desk, dismissed me as a patient, stated that the office "does not play games with patients," and told me he would call the police if I did not leave. I left feeling distressed and shocked by how the situation was handled. Afterward, we reviewed the office's online ratings and noticed similar experiences described by other patients. I hope this helps others make an informed decision

Urgent warning for elderly patients and their families My…read moreelderly parents saw Dr. Keivan Dehghanpisheh (rheumatologist), and it was one of the most distressing and alarming medical experiences we have ever had. The doctor displayed a bad temper, refused to answer basic questions, and took three full days just to call in a prescription. My parents left the office shaking, in tears, and genuinely afraid to return for a follow-up visit. No patient--especially an elderly one--should ever have to feel that way after seeing a doctor. The front desk staff were equally unprofessional and insensitive. When I asked if my mother could have a compression glove to help reduce inflammation, the clerk refused to even ask the doctor--saying she wasn't a doctor--yet she had previously tried to give medical advice herself. She went so far as to discuss her own health conditions and made it clear she did not want to hear what my mother was asking or describing. This lack of compassion and professionalism is shocking and unacceptable. It's deeply concerning that doctors like this often end up practicing in western Palm Beach County, where many patients in lower-income or elderly communities already face barriers to quality care. Everyone deserves competent, compassionate medical treatment--regardless of where they live. Based on everything we witnessed, I have serious concerns about this doctor's ability to practice safely or manage patients appropriately. There was no clear treatment plan, only a revolving door of follow-up appointments with no real solutions or empathy. This practice urgently needs oversight, and vulnerable patients--especially seniors--should be aware of what they may face before scheduling a visit.
