To make it worse, I tried to get an appointment with an Overlake general practitioner for four months and have been waiting. Not to mention the other doctors they want to book me with for existing and long term meds with no intervening issues. I am convinced that this clinic is operated in a rigid and very non-holistic way, asking you to see a different doctor on different days IF you can get an appointment without waiting months, in order to bill as much different services as possible. I have literally been out of prescribed medication for two months and they refuse to refill even though I have been available to see the new doctor the entire time. The bureaucracy here is like nothing I have dealt with and l've used some of the best practitioners in the country, including in Los Angeles where everything was managed in a seamless holistic way with one provider who was there to deal with the ongoing and normal needs of the patient unless a bee issue arise and you need referral. Overlake is a big business with big bills and a big bureaucracy that will try to send you to four doctors for four medications (if you can get an appointment) even though you're medical history has not changed and your condition is perfectly stable. When I advised them I as having bad side effects from abruptly stopping a medication due to doctor retirement the reply was sorry you have to see try new doctor even though I can't get an appointment for months. Imagine seeking an appointment in February and being told we can see you in May. Stay away. Don't forget these are the corporate vultures who were in a scandal during Covid when they provided scarce Covid vaccines to their rich Bellevue donors. That's how they operate.

I ended up doing three visits, and during each one she was patient, kind, thorough, and had every attribute I would expect of a good doctor. She's a bit old-school, but I found this approach to be genuinely helpful in her analysis. However, as another recent review stated, she is just completely IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. I have had billing questions for her and have left her no less than 4 phone messages and multiple emails as well, and have not heard a single word back. When I brought this up to her during an appointment last summer, she mentioned they had a new phone system, and maybe that's understandable for a few weeks--but it's now been over eight months of trying to get a hold of her, and she is completely unresponsive. I had a hysterectomy in 2021 that left me with a bunch of medical ptsd and many side effects post op that I still experience to this day. I was excited to see so many positive reviews for an obgyn. Thinking to myself maybe I will finally find a doctor who isn't dismissive and actually wants to help me. I was losing my hair, having mood swings, in a span of 1 year I had 5 UTIs and never had a history of having them ever before my hysterectomy. I had joint pain amongst a few other things. So she saw me and claimed that birth control was to be the best option. Took it, didn't work. Contacted her again months later with now ongoing bloating and cramping more often than usual. Did an ultrasound and found my ovaries are the size of someone who is postmenopausal. I'm 37 and was told my hormones shouldn't change much after my hysterectomy. She did a "hormone check" of only my fsh, estrogen, cortisol. All according to her "came back normal". She was "sorry" and passed me on to a naturopath. I know when something is off in my body and I have not felt the same since my hysterectomy. I know she didn't perform the surgery, but I came to this doctor out of complete despair because I have 2 children at home and a husband like many do. I have people who depend on me. I deal with these things that bother me on a daily basis. I am active, I eat right, I have tried supplements. Nothing helped me. To be dismissed in the way that she did knowing what I had been through was not only hurtful, but made me feel despair all over again. Doctors are meant to help patients figure out the problem and treat them.. to investigate. Not be dismissive if they don't find an answer right away after one single blood test. Naturopath doctors aren't cheap, and I really was relying on Dr.Dvorak to help me because of her reputation. I feel absolutely dismissed/neglected and stuck exactly where I was to begin with. If you are having issues that don't have a simple answer and want a doctor who is willing to keep helping and looking until you feel better... You know, what doctors are SUPPOSED to do... don't come here. I hope she reads this and knows how much it hurts living like this every day. Left to figure it out myself. My electrolytes were so mismanaged I ended up in ICU. A social worker tried to bribe me to have a counselor visit me I said it wasn't necessary she sent her in anyway. Discharge transition was horrible one problem after another. My last visit with my Gynoc in the office was the most painful pelvic I've ever had apparently he knew I wasn't going to stay at his practice or cancer facility.
