Such a fire juicery in Bay Ridge! I would definitely recommend coming here if you are craving a smoothie or fresh juice. My friend and I tried their green juice and their mango juice and they were both sooo refreshing and delicious. They have plenty of seating inside and the workers are nice! Service is also very quick. 10/10 recommend :)

~DO NOT ORDER ONLINE~ Incident#1 I ordered via yelp on 09/08/2020 and the carrot juice we received was super bitter-I didn't call to complain or request a replacement because I thought well how would they know that the carrots they juiced were gonna taste bitter-fine whatever, we just threw it out-$5 down the drain. Incident#2 I order on 09/11/2020 a total of 5 drinks, 3 of the same item and 2 other items for a total of 5 drinks. I only get 3 delivered. I ask the driver to look around and check and he tells me that's all they gave him and to call the store. I call and the person that picks up tells me "no there are a total of 3 items" I explain to him that's impossible since I have an e-mailed receipt and clearly the price reflects that there are more than 3 items. One of the drinks is 3 items alone + 2 other drinks for a total of 5 drinks. He states he can't see that and suggests I call Grubhub. When I call Grubhub, they call the store and driver and decide to refund me for the missing items. I press the agent to tell me what equipment the store uses and if this was possibly a technical difficulty and she clearly explains to me that she sees exactly what I see on my receipt which is 5 drinks in total and that there is no way the store doesn't see this. Ummm.... ok I see what's going on here. Here's my issue, when a customer calls you and says something is missing, then something is missing-you don't just discount their inquiry and brush them off. At least sound somewhat epathetic even if you have to fake it. And although we love most of their drinks and never order anything less than $50 worth, this negative experience has driven us to look for a new smoothie/juice spot. Bottomline here, no matter how good you think your product may taste, it's not enough to retain repeat customers if your customer service is lacking.

My cousin introduced me to Hemo's as her favorite smoothie spot. She's well known there and ordered two of her regular green smoothies. I got the 20oz and she got the 32oz. The smoothie was light and refreshing...I don't know what was in it but I felt great after drinking it. I also had a Nutella açaí bowl. It was very rich....way too much Nutella. It was tasty for sure but overwhelming. Next time I'll like try the regular berry açaís. The owner was super friendly. I love that we could see all of the fruits and veggies he uses in his recipes. I order a Yemeni lemonade this guy give regular lemonade and lying to my face saying that's how you you made it he put water and lemonade and instead milk and ice and the boss can check the camera to see if I was lying I give him zero reviews mind you I'm costumer every other day there smh read more

Hands down my favorite coffee spot in New York for many reasons - price, quality, and strength. Every time I come to bayridge, I make a stop here especially for the Turkish coffee which they lit cardamom in. Interestingly you can get a Large size of the Turkish coffee as well. They have these pastries that I don't remember the name of but are these round little coconut flaked shortbread texture type cookies - heaven. I had taken my brother here when he was visiting and was just as obsessed with the Turkish cardamom coffee as I was so I bought some of the beans here. The owner or at least the person I always see here is also very nice and will answer any questions you have on the options. read more

This place is great, fresh juices and yummy chicken over rice! I would highly recommend for someone looking for some lunch for anyone that lives around here, or people passing through while shopping around 86th street or after a doctors appointment. Also halal! This spot just opened recently and they did a really good job on the look of the store, using bright colors and great lighting. Finally went in to get a smoothie yesterday, and not only was the smoothie good, but the prices are extremely reasonable (especially for the area), and the gentleman that made it went above and beyond - I ordered a medium and he made extra, so he made it into a large... and I had my 3-year old son with me, for whom he made a tiny smoothie on the side for him! I don't expect that every time I visit, but what a great first impression. That's how you get repeat business!! read more

This is the best juice bar I have been to in a while! All the fruits and vegetables are fresh. My son and I ordered the mango smoothie and we loved it! We are planning on trying everything on the menu lol. This place is a small and gets very packed but there's a reason behind that, and it's only because they are very good at what they do. If you in the bayridge area you should definitely come here! read more

Love there fresh juice and they list is endless. Had the boost potion, a dragon fruit colada and of course a ginger shot for immunity. Very clean, fresh fruit. I got here at least 2-3 times a week. read more

Once I got into the store the cashier at the counter automatically told me she doesn't know how to make juices because they are to complicated for her . She told another person that was there I gave the guy the # of what juice I wanted on the menu & he said okay . Next thing you know I received the wrong juice .very disappointed . Not professional at all don't ask for what number juice I want if you don't know what goes in it . It's on the menu read more

I think I ordered the wrong thing, the fruit looks very fresh here and I know they have a full grill.... However I put my order in for an Acai bowl, and got in return a bowl of what looked like a brown smoothie ( i thought the acai was supposed to be semi frozen and scoop-up-able ). It was presented like a soup, in a plastic take out bowl and it was spilling over the sides so I had to be given a plastic bag. It was honestly nearly impossible to eat and i was also disappointed to find that the granola used to top it was actually just dry oats, and not something crunchy or sweet that would ameliorate the flavor... I want to go back and try something else, but if it's an acai bowl I am just prepared to explain exactly how I like it! read more

I was craving a smoothie, but something more traditional like a little shop back home. I've heard of Hemo's before, but today was my first day trying it. Lord and behold, this was phenomenal. I got the mango with the nits, kinda like a cocktail, and it tasted so good!! It's also super cheap. I've tried other places and you pay $10 for a small uncreative smoothie... if you're reading this you need to try Hemo's. read more

The worse panini ever. I ordered 3 panini and they were the worse ever. They should take off the panini gron their menu becouse obviously they don't know how a panini should be. When I paid the guy in the register said it's $25( he didn't give me receipt becouse the machine is not working) and when I checked my account they took out $28.08 what is the $3 for I don't know. This opened up around the corner from me and I was excited about it. I went in and waited at the counter while several people behind it did some things and all ignored me. Eventually, one guy behind the counter asked what I wanted, but was SO unfriendly. I got a juice and it was fine. Nothing incredible - it is what it is. I will try it again and hope for better service but I generally don't like to patronize places that make me feel like I'm bothering them or they are miserable to be there. read more

What caught my eye about this location is the amount of creative drinks - it also has an authentic and homemade feel. I ordered the mango green tea with mango popping boba, it was so delicious and refreshing! They also have a few pastries, Taiwanese sausage and snacks. I bought a Taiwanese snack, similar to a chocolate chip cookie yet so light. Please check out this place if you're in the area (or not) to try their delicious bubble teas! I wish this place was closer so it could be my daily drink fix. However, if you're ever in the area I'd highly recommend. Place is cute and small so definitely a to go style. Service was great and she helped me pick out good teas on the menu.

The place is relatively clean, they also have food which isn't the best, I did experience where the cake tasted a bit off, and once I notify the staff they gave me other options of changing to something else. The service was just ok, it was one waiter and sometimes we really had to get his attention. Didn't give us any water in the beginning and we had to ask for some near the end. The environment is the usual Prince tea environment - cafe aesthetic, nice for getting together and catching up with friends. The food was kind of pricey... but Prince tea is usually kinda pricey. But honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food. The food all tasted pretty good. The katsu sandwich was really good, the squid appetizer good, the fries and salad not bad. The sukiyaki burger was just meh so I would recommend to skip. The two teas: lavendar milk tea and passion fruit tea were really good too. Overall: food was better than expected but pricey. Service is lacking and environment is good.

I live in Stony Brook so when the stars are aligned and there is no traffic on the Belt I can order a great cuppa coffee before work. I park across the street and was the first one in the small establishment. I see two gents hustling behind the counter and zero in on the baked goods. I'm not understanding the spiced lattes but after a few times, I'll try the Cardamom latte but for now I'm sticking with a Flat White and a freshly baked croissant. The flat white I ordered? Perfecto. If a good cup of coffee costs the same as a chain coffee slop they serve to the masses, I'll take a well crafted coffee from Clockface Coffee to start my day. Hopefully, if the traffic is light on the Belt Parkway, I can stop by in the morning. I grew up in Canarsie but all the great local places I keep finding by the job, Bay Ridge rocks!

I ordered avocado toast with eggs and a pastry. The only real positive was the bread itself, which was fresh, large, and actually tasted good. Unfortunately, that is where the positives ended. Although the avocado seemed less generic than standard store-bought guacamole, the taste was not good. The eggs were terrible -- they looked very unappetizing, tasted awful, and appeared nothing like the photo shown on Grubhub. The same photo also showed a small side salad, but no salad was included. I requested chili oil, and that was missing as well. The added cheese had virtually no flavor, so overall the dish felt careless, incomplete, and extremely unsatisfactory. I also checked the box requesting utensils, but no utensils or napkins were included. However, to be clear, this review is not about forgotten utensils. It is about the overall lack of quality, attention to detail, and customer care. The pastry was another culinary failure. It was sold under the French name -"Pan Au Raisin" but it was nothing like what real "Pain Aux Raisins " supposed to be, it was bland, greasy, oily and missing the traditional custard base plus it was delivered in an undersized paper envelope that left the food exposed, a clear violation of basic sanitary standards for food transport. Most importantly, this order caused me stomach pain and GI upset. This was the only food I had eaten in a 24-hour period, and more than 24 hours later I still felt unwell. The owner's reply to my original review was patronizing, dismissive, and refused to take any real accountability. Instead of addressing the food quality issues, the missing items, the poor packaging, and the physical reaction I had to the order, the response tried to reduce the entire problem to utensils and push the conversation into private email. I am keeping this public so other customers can make an informed decision. I wanted to support a new local business, but the bad taste, poor execution, misleading presentation, lack of care, and dismissive management made that impossible. Based on this experience, I would not order again and would not recommend this place to friends or family.

Go early if you don't want them to sell out of anything or purposely go a little later if you want one of their lunch sandwiches on focaccia. I have had the tomato and garlic focaccia twice now and each time it has been exceptional. Minor critique, the slices of garlic could be a bit smaller. I also had the shakshuka focaccia which is divine and I would absolutely recommend both. I need to come back to try their sandwiches as well. I am not a sweets person, but everyone I know loves their pastries. Getting someone a gif tcard here makes for a great gift.

The flavor of the sesame stirato was excellent but the bread itself was a tad too chewy for the filling we got with it (tuna salad), so that style probably works better with the jambon beurre. Will definitely be on the rotation whenever I'm in the city -- would love to try some of their seasonal/limited edition items one day, though not sure if I have it in me to brave the lines that can form on the weekends, lol! We'll see :)
