The coffee shop itself is just a stall/store front where you order coffee, the cute part of this place comes in when you sit inside next door. It's a small reading nook, with some tables and an upstairs loft. Be it, you'll need to go up a cute skinny spiral staircase where you're met with a "couch" and a super small table. It reminded me of France. Food was good, and it wasn't overly expensive. If you decided you didn't want to sit inside, there's also option to sit outside on the tables arranged on the sidewalk. read more

I visited my friend who lives in this neighborhood twice in the past few months and each time I couldn't help but return to Gigi's! The neighborhood vibe and cozy interior + exterior with plants and seating. There is an upstairs nook that is adorable if you dare going up the slim spiral stairs. The people working here are so friendly too. Good coffee and yummy breakfast burrito that just satisfies your craving. Came here for lunch because of the reviews on yelp. Yes, its the only option in this neighborhood however not impressed by the establishment. First they leave the doors open and there's a lot of flies on the street so maybe putting up a mesh screen on the door will help with that issue. Secondly I ordered the Cobb Salad and paid extra for the crispy chicken. I was disappointed because the flavor on the chicken was non existent and super thin. Barely any meat for the extra price I paid. The bacon was burnt and fried too long. No cheese, no red tomatoes or even avocado. Cost was about 18.00 for a bowl of nothing. read more

Gigi's cafe is a new family business in sunset park. It's the cute little store front but jokes on you because there's a whole other part for seating!!!!!! (I also saw this on TikTok& had to try it.) Can I just say I love fresh orange juice? Gigi's offers fresh juices. Their menu is big and have so many yummy options. Our favorite thing to get here to the breakfast burrito. This weighs about 10000 lbs. (just kidding) half of the burrito already fills me up. If you're really really hungry, this will FOR SURE keep you full through until late lunch. I also ordered their Caesar salad wrap. I just really cannot believe how giant these wraps are. I love it and the prices are great. Next time I am going to try their lattes & sweet breakfast items. The people here are very friendly and helpful. We have had the caprese sandwich, mushroom quesadillas, a few of the different "bowls" including the berry bowl, along with the smoothies and juices. The smoothies are always fresh and excellent, and I often order two of the mushroom quesadillas since I like them so much. You can eat in one of the outside tables or else a comfortable space next door which has tables downstairs and a metal spiral staircase which leads to a more private space on the second floor. This little small cafe shop is near my house and I have been wanting to try it. I went and ordered gigis açaí bowl. There was but of a wait but I was glad there were seats outside where I could wait. When I first walked in, the place smelled amazing!! So I definitely need to come back to try some of their other foods.
