    Disappointing customer interaction and inflexible discount policy, still a regular customer…read more This is my regular dispensary and I plan to continue shopping here, but I am leaving this feedback here because I do not feel comfortable giving it in person. I want to separate two issues clearly. First, the student discount policy. There is a posted 20 percent student discount that only applies on Sundays. As a student who uses cannabis medicinally, this structure does not work for me. Being told on a Saturday that I should come back another day for a discount when I am already ready to purchase is not helpful. I am not asking for an exception. I am offering feedback that a discount limited to one specific day does not accommodate medicinal or schedule based needs. That feedback should be acknowledged, not debated. Second, repeated unwanted interaction from one staff member. When I shared that feedback, one staff member who was not involved in my transaction repeatedly interjected, lectured, and attempted to explain why my perspective was wrong. I clearly stated more than once that I did not want to debate it and asked him to stop engaging and allow the employee assisting me to continue the transaction. Despite that, the interruptions continued. Because of the continued side conversation and interruptions, the checkout process became confusing. I had brought edibles to the front and confirmed the price, but I was not told how much additional cash I needed to withdraw from the ATM to complete that part of the purchase. After already paying an ATM fee and with everything going on, I ultimately said never mind and left the edibles behind. This same staff member has also previously failed to acknowledge me when I entered the store and has redirected me in line in a way that felt dismissive. Taken together, these repeated interactions have been frustrating. I want to be clear that other staff members were polite, helpful, and professional, and the store itself is clean and well run. This feedback is specifically about one recurring interaction and the structure of the discount policy. If a customer says they do not want to be lectured or debated, that boundary should be respected. Feedback does not need to be refuted in the moment. It simply needs to be heard. I am posting this here rather than raising it in person because I still plan to shop at MedMen and want this addressed constructively.

I literally want to cry so hard again I drove 45 minutes, wasn't accommodated with nothing even though I called ahead of time all he just kept saying how he's sorry sorry he sorry and it wasn't convincing at all its like im dealing with a robot I asked to speak with a manager and he insists he's the only one there. I work in customer service myself so I know when someone is being unprofessional with me and it's very unprofessional for not even to be a manager to try to resolve what was done. They clearly do not care about their customers and probably paid for or offered some type of reward for these reviews. I'll know what I did to deserve this terrible karma, but I pray nobody else have to go through this type of inconveniencing. And to make it all worse, I literally could've went to so many other places but since it's about to be 10 o'clock, I won't be able to get anything at all now because of this place not being upfront.. screw you Al and your bs apologiy. And I will make sure to spread the word to everybody I know.
