Even though the building has been around for a while, it's kept in great shape. The ambience is clean, welcoming, and family-friendly, and it really feels like a space for the whole community. The staff has always been amazing--friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring, which makes every experience that much better. One of the biggest pluses is the value. They offer so many activities at a really reasonable price, and this is definitely the place to find more discounted programs compared to elsewhere. From fitness classes and pools to kids' programs, you get so much for what you pay. I happened to be here on Christmas Eve and the General manager, Dawn stood out to me because she was helping out with taking orders and busting tables. I have been to so many retirement homes and assisted living homes and I never see the managers or directors helping in the kitchen, especially not on Christmas. Dawn put a net over her hair and go to work. She spoke to everyone and had such a pleasant attitude. I think she is an amazing example of a leader. More establishments need to take note! Next, Olly! Always pleasant. Always telling everyone what activities is going on or what is coming up next. Also always takes the time to speak to me and everyone passing by. Olly enjoys the job and has passion for this field, I can tell! Always smiling and cheerful, even if there's a lot to do and plan! Next, Cheryl! As soon as I walk in she is at the front desk, smiling, happy, and handling whatever tasks she faced with. I speak to Cheryl for just a few minutes when I leave and exit but she truly makes you feel like you have known her for so long! She is the perfect person to have at the front desk. Lastly, Elizabeth, the lead server! So amazing, positive, quick with service. I see why she is the lead. She comes to work with a smile on her face and makes you feel very welcomed. She knows her residents, she knows what they typically order and ensures everything is good before you leave that dining room. These employees truly stand out and as stated, I have been to so many retirement homes and I haven't ever come across a place that had great employees across the board. I attribute this to the staff that cares for her. I'm very confident that she is treated in a way that brings her to a better quality of life. Her mind is occupied with games and activities that are what is needed for her to progress. This program has been very attentive to her needs. I would highly recommend this program to anyone in need. Manila provides transportation to and from the program, they provide meals and activities as well as having a staff that can attend to medical needs. This was important as my daughter is an insulin diabetic with mental health related issues that at times require constant supervision and am I happy with what is offered. This program has made the difference for us both. I know it could make a difference for all in need. If you arrange a tour and do as I did you too will have the answer to your prayers.
