This is an, um, interesting grocery store. It looks like it is in a time warp, like it was some…read moreother grocery store 30 years ago and Food Depot bought it and kept the decor and everything else the same. So it has a retro feel to it. The prices are pretty decent. They charge you a low price but add 10% to your overall receipt. Not sure what the reasoning is behind this, but even with the 10% added, the prices are still pretty low. The "departments" (i.e. produce, meat, etc) are skimpy. but if you go to stock up on pantry staples, you'll get a decent deal, especially on canned goods.

I go to my local Kroger (Hwy 278) customer care desk receipt in hand with the unopened can with an obvious leak when turned on its side and I am told that I would have to go back to the store of purchase because they cannot replace a can from their store. Poor training which made for bad customer service. If the bagger had used the plastic bags provided by the store, there might have been a bottle of milk and a bottle of juice in one bag together.
