I've always wanted to see what Bell's was all about. They had a lot packaged goods in fair to good condition. Like other reviews, make sure you check the expiration date. If you go to their meat section, they had great deals like Pick 5 for $19.99 on large cuts of meat. I would recommend going here if you have the time to shop around. read more

I love Bell's. Great place to come of you want to save some serious money. We have been coming here for years and even though we moved out of state, we make a point to go to Bell's every time we visit. If you have time it's fun to dig around and see all that you can find. I would say 95% if what we've bought has been good quality. Occasionally, we'll get something that we end up throwing away after opening but that's been rare and I didn't mind much because it cost next to nothing to buy it in the first place. Definitely worth a visit. read more

Great place for discounted groceries! Basically, the food here is either about to expire, has expired or is damaged, however, if the expiration date hasn't passed, and you don't mind a damaged canned good or box, then, who cares? Also, they have a really good variety of organic and vegetarian/vegan frozen goods. I love going here to get goods for my home made soup. This place is perfect for those who don't mind going OTP to save a buck. Just remember to check the date on your food. read more

Please be careful shopping here. They sell items that are expiring in a month or two at the same price you would find at Walmart or Kroger. I just bought several boxes of oatmeal here and the boxes were slightly crushed....I didn't have an issue with that at all,what bothered me was the expiration date was within a month and the price was exactly the same as the Kroger Moms Best Oatmeal. (I didn't check the expiration date until I got home.....didn't think they sold old stale food) I called and spoke to a Sarah about this and she was very sarcastic.....I guess she doesn't realize the internet exists and people who have fixed incomes and looking for a bargain are at a disadvantage when stores like this refuse to be honorable. Buy your food at Walmart and Kroger when they have sales. The items in this store are substandard and the manager Sarah is dishonorable. If something is wrong with a product you've purchased from Walmart or Kroger, they will take the item back, this store doesn't care if it's expired or spoiled. Buyer Beware. read more

We provide excellent customer service along with lowest prices on your grocery items. Bell's Discount Grocery is a unique family business that opened in August of 1990. Herman Jordan, Penny Bell and Wayne Jordan's father began the journey in the salvage grocery business in 1970 in Gwinnett county. He was the inspiration behind Bell's Discount Grocery located in the Covington area. Bell's networks with brand name grocery companies that sell merchandise to us in order to liquidate products quickly. Bell's will then sell items to our customers at a discounted rate. Among many great "finds" that we have, our products also include organic and gluten free products.
