Mahi sandwich and hand cut fries
    Ann W.

Good solid food, a little pricey. We haven't tried the buffet but it always seems to have customers picking out their meats and veggies. The Mahi Mahi is one of the best fish sandwiches in the lake area. Hand cut fries are always a nice treat. This time I tried the pecan crusted chicken salad dressing on side. Chicken was heavily crusted and good for deep fried chicken. They need to be so much MORE generous with the apple and other toppings at that price point. Tables are clean, you do your own pick up. No options to tip. Hours are limited and I do wish they were open on Sunday but, welcome to the South. A market is attached, items vary and have many local choices. Meat prices are high, like real high. Overall, a fun place to stop.

Some of my adoptive family (hubby and wife) and I came here for lunch and, a bit of shopping. For lunch, I had, Country Fried Steak, with Gravy, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Black eyed Peas and Cornbread. While it was good, nothing was truly hot. Both the CFS and MPs were warm, with the gravy being barely as warm. Though, the BePs, were warmest. However, I found, the CFS to be on the dry side. While the Cornbread was firm, it was good. Unfortunately, they charged me for 3 sides, instead of just 2. So, because of this, I didn't give a voluntary tip. Fortunately, Chris had gotten some Kenyan Hot Sauce, which I tried on the CFS. And, it really helped with the taste. Sadly, they only 1, 10 oz bottle, which I let them have. And, I bought a 5 oz bottle. The HS has a unique texture, but isn't "hot" in the traditional sense.

Love stopping by this place when visiting our daughter at college. Food is great breakfast and lunch. Service is top notch and the ambiance is great. Love the country store with their clean produce and vintage sodas and already made meals and desserts as well. Place is always busy.

Great meat and three style place. Plus sandwiches, salads. Breakfast in the morning. I think the plate lunches are the same every week, but maybe not. If you order off the sandwich counter and it seems to be taking too long, go ask about it. They "forgot" to finish our order and it just sat until we went and asked. At least they offered a dessert.

First time for breakfast and oh my goodness!!! I got the bacon biscuit with sooooo much krispy bacon and a large biscuit. I had part for breakfast and the rest for lunch! So happy I finally stopped and got German chocolate pie for Christmas.

On a return trip to Madison after many years, we returned to Farmview Market for lunch. We weren't disappointed. We had friend chicken, fried catfish, squash casserole, roasted vegetables, banana pudding, and biscuits. Everything was delicious, just as before. Even though it is a cafeteria line, service was super in the line and at our table.

What a find!! On the outskirts of Madison, Farmview is a really special farmer's market with an amazing selection of fresh vegetables, fruits, meats and cheese but with a huge array of gift items like chutneys, sauces and honey. There's a little cafe onsite with a small selection of hot and cold foods to eat inside or on the patio. Staff is friendly and helpful, bathrooms are clean and you'll definitely find something here for everyone. Must visit.

Met up here with my mom to check it out since I've passed it before and wanted see what was offered. We don't leave near here, but I can compare it to maybe a Sprouts/Whole Food vibe. It was nice and offered a lot fresh and local foods. I love that. They also have a section to order food which looked great! The employees... and people were really nice. I would recommend stopping by to shop or just check it out if you are in the area. *I can't give a 5 because I didn't try or buy anything so don't hold that against them*

Blackened salmon and pimento cheese grits! It's as good as it's looks.

Farmview was a nice find up in North Georgia. The farm to table options were decent & the food was fresh! The place was very clean & friendly with employees regularly picking up trays & clearing/cleaning tables. I'm going to start with the Banana Pudding Cheesecake - let's just say that Cheesecake Factory HAS NOTHING over this slice of heaven! You tasted it all - banana, nillas & cheesecake! Our party of 3 had more than enough to share one slice. We also had the Pecan Crusted Chicken Sandwich. Ohhhh goodness, you could 100% taste the perfectly toasted pecans! The chicken was fresh and juicy. Their homemade potatoe chips and fries were the perfect side pairings! Sadly my biggest disappointment was my plate - the Steak Salad. While the menu did say sliced I wasn't expecting "shaved" pieces of tri tip. I wanted the thick meaty cuts to sink my teeth into them... the crispy onions that served as the crunchy part of the salad were merely 3 onion petals. I'm not knocking the flavor but the expectation gone wrong. Overall we did enjoy our dishes & between the 3 of us it was $49 - 3 plates (I didn't talk about the chicken strip... those were very good), 3 sides, 3 soft drinks & one very delicious cheesecake!!!

We were hoping to have dinner at the café, but it's breakfast & lunch only. We still enjoyed all the locally sourced products & the great customer service. I was surprised to see they have oysters! I really appreciated the bulk goods offered like peanut butter, beans, grains- that way I can reduce my plastic waste! I'm happy to see we have a little shop like this!

    My wife loves this place.

Great source for a nice variety of quality foods. Food:…read more 5 stars for their place in a unique niche of grocery markets -not a "big box" store, and not a quick stop corner market. They have a nice variety of quality goods items. We have tried their holiday meal collections and been very pleased with their preplanned Thanksgiving turkey meal, Christmas meals , and Easter lamb meal-their ready-to-cook appetizer to dessert collections, as well as their brunch quiche specials. They make it easy to plan for group get -togethers or small family meals. We also like their deli special where you get 4 delicious light croissants when you buy a pound of their Chicken salad- for 4 tasty lunch sandwiches. Their produce, deli, cheese, and bakery items are well chosen. The meat dearest has good weekly specials. There are also weekly dinner specials with the ingredients gathered -ready for you to cook quickly at home without much meal prep time. They also have small coffee samples for the weekly coffee special-a nice touch as you shop. Personnel: The personnel are friendly and helpful. Even the manager and asst managers go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. In the past when we have asked for special help, we received it with a smile. Facility -clean, cheerful. Easy to move around. Location: Conveniently located in a popular shopping center -ample parking.
