The first thing my husband did was ask about the peaches. Of course that's the reason he went there. My search was for the peach preserves like my great grandmother made. I didn't stop there, I saw many condiments, salad dressings, old fashion candies. They also have a dessert eatery inside. Customer service was very insightful. Because we didn't go for the activities or petting of the animals, I can't write much about that. Overall, on my next visit I will try the famous MiMi's pound cake which they rave about. Also, I want the blueberry donuts which they only have on the weekends. Doggonit, I went to early in the middle of the week. My husband is really enjoying his peaches. A fun fall date!…read more Southern Belle Farm, located in McDonough, provides hours of wholesome fun and free parking. My wife and I arrived on a warm October day to enjoy the pumpkin patch and U-pick flowers. We arrived in the afternoon, but there was plenty of selection and nothing was "picked over." I paid $16 for a quart sized plastic vase for my U-pick flowers. They sell gallon sized buckets as well. Scissors and water are provided. Be mindful of bees in the field. They won't trouble you if you don't trouble them. There is an area in the back for you to arrange the flowers; I took full advantage of this because this trip doubled as a photo shoot. There were all types of people enjoying the farm; IG girls, families, even one couple using a wagon full of pumpkins as a baby announcement. Pumpkins range from $5-$20 each depending on size and breed. A nice young man named Luke helped us corral our pumpkins and carry them to our car. I didn't know they offered that service, but we tipped well. If you run up an appetite, they have a snack bar with fritters, ice cream, and lemonade. I'll be back next fall!

The greens are amazing and absolutely delicious. The farm grows, cultivates and sells all of them not to mention fresh eggs and other things as well. This was my very first visit but my friends has bought greens from Circle A for some time and will not buy here lettuces anywhere else. And now I feel the same way after seeing their lettuces and greens. They have: Bibb lettuce, Micro-greens, Arugula, Romaine, Mixed Greens etcetera. The pricing wasn't to terrible for what you are buying and because it's grown Hydroponic, it's well worth it!! Unfortunately I didn't take a pic of pricing which was their cooler door. Next time for sure. Also loved where it's located, off a country road which gave it all the charm needed for growing their lettuces and the cute Farm House which is nice and clean inside not to mention orderly.

It's small and just by the wayside, but it has locally farm-grown fruit, vegetables, specialty and locally brewed ciders, cooking sauces, smoked meats, desserts, and snacks. I pick up some of the Scuppunong Ciders, Old-Fashioned Apple Cider, and some fresh tomatoes and skins. It looks so much like some of the local markets I would visit as a child with my parents and Grandmother, so I was in the midst of all kinds of nostalgia here. The owner is so sweet and welcoming, and she was very accommodating. This place is the epitome of Southern and Georgia-grown delicacies, and I'm so pleased that I'll have the chance to visit often. As we tried to get oriented, several times I was obviously looking for something yet associates in the section I was in avoided eye contact, avoided asking if we needed assistance. Similarly, the cashier never smiled, did not greet us, did not inquire if we found everything we were looking for, nor thank us. The store in general was clean and well maintained. Most items were well stocked and shelf labels were present. We were happy with the overall selections and price points were as expected.
