The store is quite small, but they weren't kidding...the produce is fresh!! Because it's so small, it can get a little crowded in the aisle, but it all worked out. I went primarily for the corn, and there were only seven ears left. I took six of them and felt kind of bad, but when I was checking out, I heard that more was on the way on the delivery truck. I guess there had been some sort of delay that morning in Atlanta. We also bought some peaches and cherries. Everything tastes so great! The peaches are amazing! I didn't but any this trip, but the tomatoes and peppers looked outstanding! I will be back...going to try coming on a weekday so maybe it's not so cramped inside. Oh.. and the gentleman working the register was very kind and sociable!!

Large selection of jarred items as well. Pickles, jams, fruit, pecans, honey, local produce. Firewood, seafood when they can get it. If you need something for a feed weeks out ask. If they can get it they will. A definite good stop in this small rural town.

I went…read moreon a Saturday afternoon just around lunch time and it was pretty easy to find and drive to. The lot was pretty busy but we quickly found a parking spot. Once there, it was a little confusing to figure out where to go for peach picking as there's so much happening (food truck, ice cream, boiled peanuts, fresh produce, other u-pick produce like blueberries and wildflowers) but the staff was super nice and pointed us in the right direction! (Side note: before picking, we hit the restrooms which were Port-a-potties. They were fine but just fyi and bring hand sanitizer!) For peach picking, we paid $30/bucket which was a totally fair price for the amount of peaches we were able to pick! (My group of 5 split a single bucket and brought more than enough home). The picking was good and the staff was super helpful with telling us how to pick and what to look for in good fruit. We brought our own bags but they also offered paper bags which was nice. After, we had both the strawberry and peach ice cream! The peach ice cream was honestly pretty mild but the strawberry ice cream was SO GOOD and creamy and hit the spot after picking. Overall, such a great experience fruit picking and highly recommend if you can go!

I made my living selling FRESH PRODUCE, I bought from around the world and sold locally at the Atlanta State Farmer's Market and delivered to about 11 States. It's small and just by the wayside, but it has locally farm-grown fruit, vegetables, specialty and locally brewed ciders, cooking sauces, smoked meats, desserts, and snacks. I pick up some of the Scuppunong Ciders, Old-Fashioned Apple Cider, and some fresh tomatoes and skins. It looks so much like some of the local markets I would visit as a child with my parents and Grandmother, so I was in the midst of all kinds of nostalgia here. The owner is so sweet and welcoming, and she was very accommodating. This place is the epitome of Southern and Georgia-grown delicacies, and I'm so pleased that I'll have the chance to visit often. There's nothing likely buying locally and supporting local establishments. I'll certainly be back.
