I really LOVE my car. My salesman was Rome, he is AWESOME. My problem is with the finance manager. I went to cancel my Gap & my extended warranty because my credit union offers the same protection at a better price. I went to the dealership on 5/20/2015 to make my cancellations. I had to go back 6/26/2015 because the cancellations were never made. They had NO proof of me wanting to make the cancellations. Luckily I had proof, I had them to make me a copy if the paperwork. I would recommend if you purchase a car from them, talk to the loan officer at the bank before you go. FYI, I don't think that an extended warranty is necessary if you are buying a new car, especially a Honda. read more

I both purchased my vehicle and have it serviced here and, generally, have had quite a good experience. Pros: -I did a LOT of research and haggling prior to buying my Accord and in the end Hendrick offered the bottom line best price. -The updated building they now have is great. Comfortable waiting room with an area to plug up phones or laptops, very nice service department, nice looking show floor, great inventory. -Every staff person I've interacted with was EXCELLENT. The service people are all extremely friendly, sales was not too pushy, and financing worked with me to get a good rate and even offered me advice on using my loan to build my credit. (If you plan to pay it off early, wait for a year of payments first to get the credit bump. After that there are diminishing returns) -Even without an appointment I've never waited an unreasonable amount of time for maintenance / service. Cons: -Though they eventually offered the best price, it was NOT a no-haggle experience. It took a lot of work to get them to the Edmunds.com price. If you don't like the pressure of negotiation, I recommend Dick Brooks. They gave me their best price out of the gate (and by far the best opening price of the other big Honda dealerships) and never moved on it. -The service department doesn't do a good job of telling you precisely what is being done to your car. My maintenance minder showed I needed an oil change, inspection, and my air / dust filters replaced. The invoice doesn't show info on any filters (other than the oil, of course). Perhaps my car didn't need a new cabin air filter, but I would have liked to have known that they checked it. Overall, I trust the dealership and feel well taken care of there. read more

Had issues with my 2010 Pilot check engine light. Chris Frazier in the service dept told me that the fix was covered because it is under a special warranty because the issue is Hondas fault. But because I am a few miles over the standard, they refuse to fix a $2500 issue that was caused by their awful engineering! He said that because of that few mile difference, I would have to pay to have it fixed! Hondas suck! And their employees need to do better! read more

We recently purchased a 2016 Honda CR-V from Hendrick Honda in Easley. Before making the purchase, we did extensive online research to locate the best deal on the exact model we wanted. Our search included Honda dealerships with a 200 miles radius of Easley, from Greenville, Greer, and Spartanburg to Chattanooga, Atlanta and all points in between. Turns out that the best deal was at Hendrick right here in Easley. Some of the quotes from other dealers initially appeared to be lower, but what we discovered was there were all sorts of extra fees and dealer prep charges not included in their initial quotes. Some even used "List Price" rather than MSRP to make it appear they were discounting much more than they actually were. Hendrick was the ONLY dealership that disclosed all fees in their initial quote. Hendrick was totally transparent from start to finish - the price we were quoted was the price we paid, out the door. The Sales Associate we worked with, Jeff Biney, was knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend Jeff and Hendrick Honda. read more

I was looking for a new Honda CR-Z manual 6 speed. After communicating over the email and phone dealer promised that she has the car available. She also quoted in writing the price. When we arrived to the dealership, the dealer stated that there are 4 vehicles on the lot. Then all of the sudden it turned out that there is no manual transmission vehicle, but they have automatic (which I did not want). The dealer quoted me on paper the price of new vehicle also took down payment of several hundred dollars "so I can ask for the vehicle from another dealer, it is too late to ask now we will do it tomorrow." Next day she called me back with the "bad news" that she can not locate the vehicle. The story about the vehicle kept changing, she was trying to find vehicle in different states and dealerships. I finally asked that she has 3 more days to locate the vehicle, and if she can not she has to return the down payment. It has been more than 10 days I have not heard from the dealer as well as did not receive the down payment. If anyone interested I have all email communication to back this story up, the conversations with the dealer took place when my partner, a licensed attorney was present. I will be taking the "downpayment" charge with my credit card company, so hopefully I can get the money back. Bottom line avoid this place by all costs, or if you are going to buy a vehicle over the phone or internet ask for a VIN number and written notarized quote before driving down to the dealer and wasting your time. read more

OUTSTANDING!! I had looked at two other Honda dealers and spoken two a third in another city. All were helpful, but Hendrick Honda is Easley was the BEST! I dealt with two salesmen at Hendrick and they were both wonderful. They were excited, they were not pushy, and they let me know at the very beginning that they wanted my business and they did everything they could to get it. I think we both came out happy, them with the sales and my wife and I with new CR-V. I also wanted to put in a big THANK YOU to the sales manager and the gentleman that helped with setting up the financing. All were OUTSTANDING! Went to the dealer and looked at a new car that was on the lot. The price for the car was advertised on there website. The price was not one of those special internet prices. No incentives were listed for the vehicle either. It was what the car had been listed for since it was added on there lot for ten days. We went to the negotiation, and after 30 min of sitting there waiting for them to come up with a price, they came out and wanted 2k more than the price for the vehicle. I told them to check there website. Another 15 min and they came back out and said they would honor their original listed price. The frustrating thing about it was wasting my time. If a customer can check the website, maybe they should before they start trying to make a 2k increase on the listed price. I did raise my voice after all my time was wasted. The General Sales manager told me to leave, after I pointed out there incompetence. read more

I was wanting to speak with the generals manager and was told he was to busy interviewing other people for a job to talk to me. They say quality and customer satisfaction is there top priority. I went to the dealer with a agreed price quote from consumers buying true car. com. The price was quoted on a Wednesday, my appointment was Friday morning. Thursday the price went up considerably, the manager refused to agree to the quoted price because there not discounting the Ridgeline anymore. I called true car where Lorrie stated they must accept that quoted price for 3days . I called back and spoke with the manager Jimmy Bagwell, who agreed to the price, but they didn't have my model in stock and would have to get it from another dealer and what ever options came on the truck I would have to pay for. That means they would load the truck up with options to make up the cost. Recently purchased a certified vehicle from this dealership. Vehicle had to be serviced immediately due to map lights not working and clips missing for the integrated window shade. Service was performed as needed on those two items. Also included in our purchase was a DVD entertainment system to be installed at a later date (at the same time as this service) which was scheduled to be a 2-4 hour service. Dropped the vehicle off prior evening and was instructed vehicle would be ready next day. Went to pick up vehicle and service department failed to have the DVD entertainment system installed. No party at the dealership took responsibility of the error and pointed fingers at everyone else. I would think twice prior to going to this dealership. I personally have owned many Honda vehicles and will continue to buy more (just not at this dealership). read more

I bought my van from Hendrick Honda a year ago. I have had nothing but the worst customer service in their Service Department since!! They must have a bunch of young idiots doing their servicing. I will even go as far to say they have lied to me...twice. When you take your car in for an oil change and tire rotation, you expect them to do what they say they're going to do...change oil, rotate tires, top off all fluids, etc. My fluids have never been topped off and that's twice now that I've pulled out of there with no windshield wiper fluid. It makes me question if they actually changed my oil!! I bought a set amount of oil changes from them when I purchased my van. I cannot wait until I never have to go back there again! I'm going to add that I'm just skimming the surface with my complaints. There have been other circumstances that I have not been happy with but this is the latest thing that I'm peeved about. read more

BEWARE!! After you purchase a vehicle at Hendrick Honda of Easley they do not care about their customer. At the time of sale I was told I could have my certified used vehicle detailed and the paint on the door handle touched up. My emails and phone calls were not returned. I had to finally complain and was transferred to a Manager. Then I was told I could come M-F anytime from 9-6pm and they would detail the car. Why couldn't I have received a phone call about that or have been told that to start with??? There are no weekend appointments available. So after a week of trying to get in touch with my sales rep. I now get to take a 1/2 day of my vacation time from work to get done what was promised me. Be your own advocate. Don't buy anything here. Glad my issue wasn't serious. If this is the way they handle the little things I can't imagine how poorly they would handle a major issue like a mechanical problem. read more

I can not recommend the used care department or the business office/staff in this dealership. My wife saw a 2012 4Runner with low miles that was advertised as four wheel drive. The next day she stopped to look and was given the sales information listing the SUV as Four Wheel drive. We did our research with other local dealers and found the price to be the lowest around for the options advertised. We ended up purchasing the car with and extended warranty. We were told we could cancel if we wanted. This is where the problems started. the SUV was not Four Wheel Drive and the Sales Manager would not respond back to cancel or stop the paper work on the extended warranty. This was after multiple phone calls , emails to both the used car manager, who we never met and the business manager. After getting the site manager involved, and almost a month after purchasing the car did we get resolution on the extended warranty, We were able to get the dealership to pay for the warranty due to the misleading advertising and poor customer service from the Business Office. The site manager made things happen and took care of the customer. The Used Car Manager and Business Manager never once apologized or explained why they made so many errors, very poor customer service and experience in purchasing an expensive car. I would stay away from their used car department/manager and Business Manager. read more
