They have it all- pork ribs, beef ribs, brisket, various seasoned chicken breasts and thighs, brats and sausages GALORE, raw dog food, beef jerky (with generous sampling), and so SO much more! Leslie must have seen me drooling while checking out the beef jerky, she asked me if I needed help, and I obliged. I sampled their Peppered and their Teriyaki, before I asked her what the most popular ones were. She suggested the Peppered Honey and the Sweet and Spicy- both were glorious! Those are the two we went with- the Peppered Honey had a nice peppered sweet balance and the Sweet and Spicy has a delicious kick of heat and the end. Leslie was so kind and took us around on a tour of all of their offerings, giving her personal suggestions and customer favorites. I appreciated that touch of customer service that is just non-existent and most grocery stores in their meat departments. Her service alone made us customers for life- thank you! Pro Tip: In talking with Leslie I mentioned that it was our first time there- she let us know that they serve a hot "Brat of the Day" and new customers get one on the house. We were serves the Beer Brat on a stick and it was delicious. So if you're a newbie, like me, mention it to a staff member when you check out for a meaty treat :)

We recently purchased a smoker and were so excited to smoke some meat on the upcoming weekend. We decided on buying meat from a butcher to smoke. Looked up nearby places on the internet, and the only one open near us was Top Choice Meats. They received great reviews, so we decided to give them a shot. They're located in a strip mall with plenty of parking available. We were greeted as we walked in (always a good sign). The inside was very clean and organized. The young lady who helped us was super helpful and knowledgeable with all questions asked. We decided on a brisket, but the one in the case was around 8 lbs, which was way too big for just the two of us. She offered to cut it in half. Perfect! We got home, made a rub, and smoked it for about 4 hrs on 250°. Once the internal temperature reached 195°, we removed it to let it rest for about an hour. We sliced it and wow, oh wow, it was outstanding! The flavor of the meat was amazing. We were very happy with our first smoke. Since our first visit was great, we came back this weekend for steak and brats! We would definitely recommend this butcher. We look forward to trying more cuts of meat in the future.

Odd, as we were not in festive dress, but it was my partners birthday! He was cutting some amazing ribeye, and that's what we were looking for--he said he got us, and wow. Take a look at those steaks! Selection is good! But, a small place can't be expected to have 100s of items, but everything is carefully chosen and fresh. I'll be back for those oxtails for sure! Also, there was a very wonderful lady there with her fresh baked goods, not sure if that's a regular thing or or a pop up, but shout out to the strawberry pound cake. This is now going to be our regular spot for great meats! As far as price goes, I would say competitive with Gartner's and even some groceries, but this place is special, so you get what you pay for. Oh, and there's a big parking lot in the back, which is great on the busy street.

Yum!) and had the Smokestack plate. Two adults shared this amount and it was plenty of food. The kids shared a Mac and cheese side and then had bites of our plate. They are normally fairly picky, but they loved everything, even the coleslaw and jalapeño beans. We ordered the banana pudding and the chocolate torte for dessert. I heard the banana pudding was tasty, but the torte was the favorite at the table. The establishment is split into a bar area and an area that accommodates families. There were some tvs with sports on and plenty of room for us to sit at dinner time on a Friday. There is also outdoor seating (but I don't know if kids can sit there). The staff was friendly and speedy and willing to help us make arrangements for our picky eaters. The portions were generous and the quality was great. My favorite part is that the menu is clearly marked for gluten free options and that there are so many. The meats and sauces and chili are all clear, as well as the chocolate torte. Everything was delicious. And our picky eaters even want to go back and eat the actual barbecue next time.

The staff was very friendly, and served delicious Huckleberry whiskey. The menu, though small, had to many delicious options. I ended up being unable to decide, and got the same pull pork sandwhich my husband chose. And dang was it good. I am honestly not sure if I ate the sandwhich, or just blinked and had it disappear. I can tell you my husband hadn't laughed as hard that entire trip, as he did when he saw me reliaze it was gone. If your looking for a good place, with strong drinks, and food that will make you wanna drive hours to have again. Then stop in this hole in the wall today.

I purchased some of everything, including a pie, and everything we've tried so far has exceeded my hopes. The best part is the products are sourced fairly close. No meat from Australia here. Be aware that parking is tricky. There's a bus stop directly in front of the store and there's only one spot in their parking lat and it's only for vehicles needing wheelchair accessibly.
