Love love love Henley's! Tiny spot in Brightwaters that's always packed at the bar and tables. I usually sit at the bar for apps and drinks. All the bartenders are very friendly and make fantastic drinks. They switch their menu up pretty often and the food specials are always good. Came here Thursday night and had the cheeseburger egg rolls and beet salad both were delish! John was behind the bar and slammed but managed to handle everyone with ease. Made a great French martini and Moscow mule. The place is very clean especially the restrooms. That is very important to us ladies. 5 star spot.

Such a cute little village bar. Loaded potato soup was good for the soul. And the tacos were delish. The place was super busy but the staff was very attentive. Highly recommend stopping in

Something for everyone on the menu! Lovely bar area. Bartenders were very attentive. Did not have to wait on a drink. Tacos were tasty but lost a star because there are only two in an order, and at $19, felt that $9.50 a taco was excessive. Ingredients were fresh! Great flavor. My husband enjoyed his sliders and commented on the generous portion of roast beef in each one. We would definitely go back. Dying to try veggie flatbread and cheesy cauliflower dip.

We've eaten takeout from Henley's twice now during quarantine and it has been phenomenal both times. I did curb side pick up and the employee was kind enough to put it right in my passenger side when I drove up. Couldn't have gone any smoother. I love how the food changes daily based on what fresh ingredients they have. So far we've had the Henley's Village Burger, Roast Chicken Wrap and fries. The wrap had a deliciously refreshing cilantro crema in it that made me wish I ordered two. The hubby loved his burger, both times were cooked exactly to his liking. Once this is all over we'd love to sit and eat inside, the atmosphere looks perfect for a laid back date night.

Wow, this place was delicious. Decided to go out on a Wednesday for dinner, and we almost couldn't get a seat. This place was packed, it was only around 530-6p, and there were other reservations coming in and out as we sat. It's not the biggest place, but it's nicely decorated and the also have seating outside. The menu had an incredible amount of great choices, it's was actually hard to settle on the option. We wound up trying both tacos, the brisket and the Cajun shrimp. Simply delicious, the brisket was 5/5 and the shrimp was 4/5. For dinner we split the eggplant wrap, which was light and fresh. The French fries were some of the best I've had in a while as well. Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture of that meal because we couldn't wait to eat it. We will definitely be going back, there was so much more we wanted to try. I really think this is going to be our new "go to" spot.

The food was excellent, the service fine, liked it very much, was having so much fun, forgot to take pics of the rest of the menu, will definitely return

Visit Date: September 2, 2024…read more I came here with my friend as a plus one for a wedding reception she got invited to. They did a very nice afternoon wedding reception. At first they served drinks and walked around with appetizers. I had athletic N/A beer. I had the cheese curds and the chicken slider for appetizers and a piece of the bread. The best were the cheese curds they were so good! Greasy, cheesy, yummy! I thought there were only going to be appetizers and I was fine with that, but to my surprise they had a buffet out for food. Not a buffet where you could get plate after plate after plate, they had people behind the counter dishing out food. I had the sweet potatoes, shrimp and grits, salad and pasta. Everything was delicious. The coffee was also excellent, I judge a place by the coffee they serve. If I expect the coffee to not be so great like diner coffee it's okay but if I expect a good cup of coffee and I'm disappointed I am not very happy. The linwood is a lovely place, I would come here again!

The Brixton is a beautiful restaurant with very relaxed and casual vibes. The word around town is that their drinks are awesome. What about their food, though? They originally would not seat us in the middle of the afternoon because most of the empty tables were reserved. We had to request to sit outside, which was empty, before they decided to serve us. Odd that they did not even offer that to us. The General Tso' Cauliflower was the only great thing served to us. It is incredibly crispy and flavorful. You almost forgot that you were eating a piece of vegetable at times. The Short Rib Brisket Sesame burger was shocking. $18 for two White Castles-sized sliders. It was easily consumed, and I was left much to be desired. This is most definitely an appetizer item, not an entree. The Chicken Waffle was good. Nicely deep-fried and packs a lot of flavor. The waffle looked dubious. If I had to guess, it might not be mad fresh to order. Essentially, it's 3 drumsticks/wings over a possibly frozen Eggo waffle. I would recommend a second dish if you are looking to get full. The Steak frites and Eggs Benedict were the final dishes served. It is hard to mess these dishes up, but the ribeye was nicely seasoned and cut up. The dishes were nicely displayed. Overall, this is just an OK experience. When the deep-fried cauliflower appetizer is the most memorable dish here, it is quite alarming. Portion sizes are on the small end, and none of the flavors for the entrees really stuck out. Perhaps I will come here strictly for the drinks next time.

However, if you can steal away for two hours, this is also a great date spot. The music was from my generation so I was confused why it was so loud? This was my first clue that I am officially old. But that is a me problem not them. We always order the wings (top 5 on the entire island) and the Gouda fries are unparalleled! My husband ordered the gyro. Bold move ordering a cultural dish from non Greeks. He said it was really good! I like that it came on a round instead of a pocket. It gave a quesadillas feel. His only suggestion was to put the siracha on the side since that's not a traditional gyro ingredient. On another bold move, I ordered the Ramen and added braised short ribs. Wow!! I don't know who they have cooking in the back making these authentic meals but this was some of the best Ramen I've ever had. The flavors were so good and the eggs was cooked to perfection (not too runny but not over cooked). Our waitress was very nice as well. It was busy but I never felt like we had to wait long for her attention. 10/10 as always! Reliable top quality with an ever changing beer menu.
