My both kids are Dr.falik's patient. He is such a amazing doctor and his hands are lucky. He won't prescribe medicine unnecessary. He will check and if required only he will provide . Yesterday I went for my daughter's physical for her to start a sport. At first the staff seemed friendly having good interactions with my daughter (5years old). Everything was fine until we got to the vaccinations portion of the visit. My daughter is partial vaccinated currently we are exempt which the office should have been aware of because we used to deal with Dr. Loya prior to her retirement with no issues after expressing or change. Dr. McKnight gave me documentation to review and I politely took the papers while still firm on my decision. She continued to mention the importance and how she does for her children. Then after we went to vision and hearing and then dismissed. I was confused to why I did not receive a copy of the physical just performed, asking the nurse Jennifer for a copy. She was rude staying the documents you have is all you need (information on vaccinations). When I know from previous experience I always received a copy in the past. I inquired again then she said your child is not vaccinated so I can't get you those documents. Also rudely asking for a form I had in my hand that was supposed to be turned in. After I inquired more than a couple of times she stormed off with a attitude and had the office assistant bring me the completed physical form. I asked the ladies in the medical office they said we can't get you the copy but can fax it somewhere if you need. I then knew what was going on, the attitudes and demeanor had changed because I did not want to get my child vaccinations. I informed the ladies in the office that they shouldn't treat people like that based on their belief, no response or apology. ** next day** I spoke with the office manager on the phone while waiting upon my return for a correction on the physical/ copy of sports physical. Debbie who was unable to give me the nurse full name on the nickname of Jenn for as she mentioned legal reasons, but I will be filling a report with the Virginia Board of Medicine regarding this treatment. I came the next day to have the document given yesterday corrected (incorrect initial on my daughter's name) and to have the proper physical filled out for her sport. The lady at the medical office tried to justify the incorrect spelling because my initial was what was used. I am aware human error happen but do not blame me for that, especially when all of the papers I filled out was completed correctly with my daughters name and date of birth. After waiting about 20 minutes the documents were ready yet the date of birth was incorrect so we had to wait a few more minutes for the correction. We were handed the documents and politely went on our way, without an in person apology from the nurse, doctor or medical staff for our treatment. Please be aware of service given here! I take my child to Henrico Pediatrics and have been pleased by the care of Dr. Loya and Dr. Falik. I initially saw Dr. Christi on my first visit but was not pleased because I felt she rushed through our visit and did not take the time to answer questions as a new parent of a newborn. The only real complaint I have about this place is this doctors office is very dated..to the point that it makes cleanliness questionable. I have mostly overlooked this because my husband and I truly appreciated the care of Dr. Loya. read more

We've been seeing Dr. Wilson for seven years. I have zero complaints. She's truly an asset to the practice!

Before I had my youngest, I went to a pediatrician's office and filled out all the info to be ready for her first appt..... Well I have her, get out of the hospital, call to make the appt and find out they now don't take the insurance :/ So I started to panic and ended up calling the hospital nursery to see who the nurses recommended and that is how I found Henrico Ped. I love Dr. Falik though all the doctors and nurses are great. I have never had to wait for very long to get in the back even for sick appts. The fact that they have Saturday hours is great and as they are right there at the hospital if an issue comes up its a quick walk to get further tests done. read more

We have been to this practice since 1996. Love Dr. Loya, Dr. Falik, and Dr. Wilson. Unfortunately Dr. Loya retired and we are very UNHAPPY with the new Dr. McKnight. Brought my son there after he ate a peanut M&M, ( NOT anaphylactic, just Itchy rashes) Dr. McKnight peeked her head out the door to the waiting room and said he needs to go to the ER. She never check my child. She just wants him out of her office. First thing the ER nurse asked was why didn't we just take him to his pediatrician? My children have both been patients of Henrico Pediatrics. My daughter now grown and my son soon to hit the teenage years I have been loyal to the practice. We faithfully saw Dr. Loya who retired just last year. At that time I considered leaving the practice only because I was NEVER notified of her leaving. Normally when a doctor is leaving a practice the patient is notified by a letter or a phone call. I received neither. My child who is on prescription medication had to go a week without it because of their lack of communication. A new doctor joined the practice; Dr.McKnight. She was a breath of fresh air, very thorough and caring toward my childs welfare. Recently I contacted the office to refill the prescription and was told that I needed to schedule him for a physical. So I did. A week later I receive a phone to tell me that he can no longer refill his meds at this office because Dr.McKnight has left. AGAIN no notification at all on this change. The current doctors there are not participating in the specialty in which my son receives meds for and I can no longer see them for his needs. I have now had to schedule an appointment with a new pediactrician and fill out tons of paperwork for records to be transferred. HUGE lack of communication which now I think about it is scary. Do the doctors communicate in regards to difficult cases? I hope it isn't how they communicate with thier patients. read more

avoid this office at all costs. if i could give it 0 starts i would.. we started going here after my daughter was born. the waiting room is dated and filthy. if your kids weren't sick before, they will be after your visit. we have always experienced long waits here.. even when the office is empty. we were literally the only people waiting and it took 45 minutes to go back. once you are finally in a room you wait for at least another 30 minutes to see the dr. (again we were the only people there at this particular time. all the other rooms were open with no children in them) Dr Falik rushes like nothing I've ever seen. this could be because once he's finally in the room the kids have literally had it with being in a doctors office. we finally moved and i was trying to transfer my children medical records, i spoke with a couple different women on the phone about how to go about this. they all had different answers, none of which were helpful and were all conflicting. do not take your children here, avoid this office at all costs. read more
