The drivers have no way of communicating each other (there were five of us, one Wheelchair user per Van) My van was flashing overdue service, and low fluid lights. My driver did not have a cell phone, barely spoke English, wouldn't follow my directions and so coming back took 20 minutes longer than it should have. Because they were rushed because we were late. They didn't tie down my wheelchair properly and they bounced all the way. I found myself in immediate need of care on a Friday. My folks live in FL and I love be in CA and…read moremy dad called me in a panic, saying my mom needed help and we need to get a nurse to the house because she refused to go to hospital or urgent care. I just searched Yelp to find some ways for help and made many calls. Then I tried Responsive Home Care. Genevieve called me back and explained that they provide in home care but do not provide nursing care and she gave me the cell phone numbers of direct contacts who could help with the nursing, including Complete Home Care who came thru big time and then divided in home nursing starting the next day. If it weren't for Genevieve's help I would never have gotten that nursing visits that quickly before the weekend. Now, I knew I also needed in home care to start as well. And working with Genevieve we started with 5-day service the following week. My mom was recovering from a severe infection and my dad has issues with eyesight and needed help w taking care of her, keeping house fit, light food prep, and driving to doctors appointments. Valdine was their in-home care provider and did a great job in helping my mom to get back on her feet and my dad to feel things were all good. I can't thank Responsive Home Care and Genevieve in particular for helping me in this tough situation when I was stuck on the other side of the. country. I recommend them highly.

AAA Urgent Care Visit - A 5-Star Experience with Dr. Celina Costa…read more Date of Visit: August 5, 2026 On August 5, 2026, my husband was dealing with what appeared to be a stomach bug. He had been sick for several days, and although he was staying hydrated, he was barely eating. He started to feel a little better, but after eating some junk food, including chips and cheese doodles, his stomach problems came back. Before long, he was spending most of his time in the bathroom again and was clearly not getting better. I became concerned because he was not eating and his symptoms were continuing. I suggested that he go to an AAA Urgent Care so he could be evaluated by a medical professional. When we arrived at the AAA Urgent Care, we were immediately greeted by Ms. Vanessa at the front desk. She was welcoming and helpful when we checked in. After my husband completed the check-in process, a medical assistant brought him into the back to take his vital signs before the doctor came into the room. They checked his blood pressure, weight, and other vital signs. The medical assistant also asked him several questions about his symptoms and entered the information into his chart. Then we met Dr. Celina Costa, and I have to say, she was a 5-STAR experience! I was impressed by how young she was and, more importantly, by how knowledgeable and confident she was when speaking with us. My husband is 66 years old, and he had several logical questions about what he was experiencing. Dr. Costa took the time to answer every question and explained things in a way that we could understand. What impressed me even more was that she didn't just tell him what to do--she educated him. Dr. Costa gave my husband examples of ways to stay hydrated while dealing with a stomach bug. She also provided us with information about foods he should eat and foods he should avoid while his stomach was recovering. She even recommended some economical over-the-counter items that could help with his symptoms. I appreciated that she considered practical and affordable options instead of making everything complicated. Dr. Costa also had a wonderful personality. She was friendly, energetic, and genuinely seemed happy and excited to help us. She made us feel comfortable throughout the visit, and by the time we left, we were actually happy that we had decided to come to Urgent Care. My husband followed Dr. Costa's suggestions and recommendations, and the next day he felt about 80% better and was trying to get himself back to feeling normal. I want to say THANK YOU, Dr. Celina Costa, for making us feel welcomed, taking the time to answer our questions, and sharing your knowledge with us. Sometimes having a doctor who takes a few extra minutes to explain things can make such a difference. I also want to recognize Ms. Vanessa at the front desk and the medical assistant who helped my husband before he saw the doctor. Everyone played a part in making our visit a positive experience.
