Great quality rifles, customer service is really lacking in this once great American gun company. You used to be able to email the owner with your concerns, but not anymore. I went to talk with Henry about checkering the wood stock of MY Henry rifle, their response by someone other than the owner was to buy another rifle with the checkering on it already. It seems Henry has grown too successful where customer service is no longer a priority. I'm downgrading their rating again from three stars to one star, because that is the lowest grade you can give them. I contacted Henryusa after finding my 1000 Man Shoot .22 damaged from being submerged during Hurricane Ian. It was stored in the case from the shoot and to me it looks like the case and bluing of the barrel chemically reacted (photos attached labeled product damage) I asked for suggestions in fixing this damage... thought they might want to know of this reaction. Their response was take it to a gun smith and see if it is worth repairing. Yes taking it to a gun smith is probably my only coarse of action... but really the response doesn't come close in caring about their guarantee. When I met Mr. Imperato at the 1000 Man Shoot I thought he was sincere; the customer service response leads me to think otherwise. In 2007 I bought an inexpensive Henry rifle that I took to the range and it just wouldn't work without jams and failures to fire. I was so disgusted I stuck it in the closet thinking I would deal with it later. Well I forgot about it until we started cleaning out closets in preparation for a move last week. It brought back memories of the problems I had encountered so I sheepishly filed a warranty service request to see if Henry really had a lifetime warranty. I was given a warranty claim number by a very friendly employee and I shipped it on a Thursday. On the following Wednesday the UPS guy dropped off a perfectly functioning rifle. Taking care of me 12 years after buying a Henry was certainly unexpected and surprising. Getting the rifle back after only a week from shipping it was exceptional. I'm now a big believer in Henry customer service. My next rifle will be a Henry. read more

I have the AR-7 and lost the take down screw. I called Henry to order a replacement and was told they're extremely difficult to install without "the tool", but they would send me a completely new stock at no charge. That's awesome customer service and I love a company that stands by their products and takes care of their customers. Couldn't be happier. Thank you. read more

Purchased 2 rifles in 22 caliber and 44 Mag both arr Awesome especially the 22 it's so smooth actually unbelievable. have not shot the 44 yet. the only thing is I don't much care for the wood on the 44 it's walnut but very Dark and no lines. wondering if I could purchase a new stock for it. other wise the action does work well. read more

I have purchased quite a few henrys rifles. Although I firstly believed the quality to be superior it was quite diminished by the low quality of the customer service and just how rude they can be at the factory and on the customer service end. They have many commercials featuring the owner speaking on National television, telling the public that he stands behind all his product and if for any reason anyone is dissatisfied they can call and speak with him, which I tried to do but was told he does not speak with the public and the man hung up on me. They have a "priority" shipping service to only the elitist clients so only they can get the latest releases of the "New Production models" and all the rest of the public gets left out completely. I have called only to get a very sarcastic gentleman whom says he is one of the owners and if i dont like it then shop someplace else, which I guess I will at this point. I believe that when you purchase a product from any company that you should get your questions answered and be treated fairly which in my estimation, Henry's repeating arms does not qualify or does not do. I would always assume that a company that relies on public purchasing and sales and reputation should treat everyone with great respect especially someone whom purchases on a very regular basis. It is apparent the word is spreading negatively and it is such an easy interaction to cure and move forward. I truly hope Henry's takes aim and cures this obvious problem with there patrons. Henry Repeating Arms customer/technical service has both infuriating and non-existent to me as they have sent receipt acknowledgement of four emails for a simple question; will the Buffalo Bore 325 grain .45 long Colt bullet cycle properly as I had read it would not as I had read in some obscure blog that it was a hair too long and had to be hand fed for each shot, a deal breaker for me. Figuring after the third inquiry that no news is good news, I bought it anyway as the dealer didn't carry the B.B. 325 grain ammo. The Mare's Leg was as beautiful as I had expected - I could have ordered the .44 mag/.44spl. combo just as easily but am partial to .45's. I ordered a box of the Buffalo Bore 325 gr. shells and guess what?!!!, the blog was right, the gun is as useless as tits on a boar unless you have time to hand feed each round while some pissed off animal is charging you. I have written to Henry asking for an exchange to the .44 mag as I haven't shot the .45 yet but not a peep back from their slick guinea President/CEO or any one else there. After some research it is apparent that this Henry Co. has no affiliation with the original Henry and could be just a front for made men money laundering in N.J. Piss on them all. read more
