I took my silver ring there to have it sized. They sized it but it was still too big so I gave it back and asked them to size it a half size down a half size and then asked if they could size it down just a quarter and they said no problem. I waited a week until it was supposedly ready. When my fiancé picked it up and brought it home this is what it looked like. (See pictures) It has dents all over it and it's it even round anymore!!! It looks like somebody took a pair of pliers and just kind of hammered it into a different shape to make it seem like it would fit. But it's still too big and it's discolored like it was burned in the fire. and they had told me that it was going to be polished when I picked it up and that's laughable in the condition that it's in. It's absolutely outrageous and this jeweler cannot be trusted!! Yes it's just sterling silver but they should treat everyone's jewelry with care and instead they did a hack job on my engagement ring and my bridal show is in a few days. I'm in tears and can't believe they did this to me. I had waited so long for this already and this is what it looks like!! I'm so hurt and outraged. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I had an omega speedster watch that I dropped on my kitchen floor and it had stopped working. I brought it in to Tourneau (my first mistake) and they sent it to their repair shop for an estimate. They told me the bare minimum it would cost was 750$ because the entire movement needed to be serviced. I declined the service and they sent the watch back. This afternoon I decided to bring it to Marlowe. Long story short: he opened the watch on the spot and informed me that it was working fine and that the hands had just come loose from the impact. 20 mins and 20$ later my watch was fixed right before my eyes!. My father has been coming to this Jewler my whole life at their other location on liberty ave (currently closed). I had a pin that was broken in my rolex I went to another place that charged $20 to change the part that was the wrong size and fell apart within a few hours. As soon as I walked in I was greeted right away and showed them the problem, within 5 min it was fixed and done correctly, they did not even charge for the work they did, I insisted to pay the gentleman said don't worry it is only a pin. I am very to happy to see that they are still honest business people in this world, I had a 20k watch and was expecting to spend a lot more and was in a position that others would have taken advantage of but I guess it was not that big of a problem. read more

I really love coming here. The sales reps are always so nice and helpful. You don't feel pressured to buy something. They have a nice selection from silver inexpensive jewelry up to diamonds and gold. They work with you on pricing and offer layway which is important when buying something a little pricier. If they don't have an item you're looking for they can bring it in for you in no time. They do repairs including things I didn't buy there. Went to a Jeweler in ozone park to replace the latch on my watch as it had fallen off, they wanted 20 buck and told me it would take a whole day to replace. I wasn't having that, I came into Marlowe and they replaced it in five minutes and didn't charge me as it cost cents to get the piece from the manufacturer. I will definitely be coming back when I'm ready to get a new watch for my birthday. They are so helpful and professional. read more

I'm not a jewelry person but I do like my watches. I needed a watch band..then batteries..then help with a watch...all I can say is this family have been extremely helpful and they treated me as if I just bought a gold bracelet. It's what I call old fashioned courtesy. I would recommend them to anyone who asks for a good jewelry store. I don't even live in Queens but in Brooklyn, but Howard Beach is only three exits away and I go to other places there. The customer service I received here more than once was not nice. The chain that I brought in to be fixed is very delicate and it wasn't fixed properly. I was not told that it could not be done the way that I wanted it to be fixed and I noticed that they just melted the gold coils together to rejoin which is now a tiny molten gold blob on the chain. If it wasn't going to be fixed the same way this should have been stated. read more

I don't recall dealing with you when I brought my stopwatch to be engraved therefore I don't expect you to know that there was not an engraving that needed to be duplicated in the 1st place. Secondlie the size of my stopwatch was 2" round and Had the 1st word written twice overlapping each other. The only duplicate engraving is the 1st word of my engraving that you duplicated perfectly It just so happened to be on top of each other. Thank you so much for not charging me for the engraving.You guys could not engrave the side of a barn door in my opinion without screwing it up. And as for my watch a business that Deals With fine watches especially one like mine and Recommend or offer offer this service just shows me you don't care. I've dealt with you guys for a long time and at best you are Sloppy And your service is not anywhere close to what it used to be when you We're on liberty Avenue.
