This past week I had 2 one hour lessons with John that were game changers and I owe it all to him. My first one hour lesson was a putting lesson. He watched me putt for a few minutes and immediately saw my problem. I wasn't tucking my elbows into my body and once I was told I needed to do this, it changed everything. My second 1 hour lesson we worked on my golf swing. I have always struggled with making clean contact with the ball. I always brush the ground before hitting the ball. Again, John observed my swing for several minutes before figuring out the problem. He videoed my swing and shared with me. I was leaning back on my right foot too much when I needed to be leaning on my left foot. With this small change, I am now hitting the ball clean (not perfect yet, but an absolute game changer)! He also did a thorough inspection of the bike and found that a tune up wasn't necessary so I totally appreciate the honesty. He was able to ready my bike the same day so service is speedy as well. Take a moment and swing by Epic this time of year and shoppers will find some good deals on winter gear and equipment. I also found some new riding gloves for half off so I couldn't say no to a sale. Lots of gear to choose from and accessories are priced just right (and by just right I mean that Epic is very much in-line with that one popular online retailer).
