I hired this company to put sheetrock over light popcorn ceilings in 3 rooms, paint the ceilings, trim and walls in all rooms. On par bid with 6 days to complete. They did a horrible job with both the sheetrock and the painting. Since I supplied materials initially I had to but more compound and more paint than should have been necessary as they never sanded properly and tried to "fix" that. They ran through those additional materials and tried to use (without my knowledge) paint that I had in my basement but it was a different finish and while it was white, it was a different shade. It was mistake after mistake. Since they had accepted another job they left my house and didn't come back for almost 2 weeks. They did not want to fix their work. I threatened to sue. They came back finally and worked on the ceilings for 5 days trying to fix their work. The original job with everything was only supposed to take 6 days. In the end they admitted that when the sheetrock was hung in the living room it was not even and no matter how many times they tried it was never going to be right and that I had to come to some level of acceptability. It looks horrible. There are 2 long "bumps" on both sides of the room that are clearly visible. They suggested that if I bought a new ceiling fixture that was not flush mounted it might look better. The other 2 ceilings are somewhat ok. Not the new flat ceilings we were expecting as there are still some bumps and some faint tape lines visible but not nearly as bad as our living room. The painting job was never fixed. Multiple drips and over runs, inconsistent coverage and tons of flashing. I told them to just leave the trim and walls alone. It took me over 2 hours to scrape the drips and over runs and the trim and paint in all 3 rooms needs to be re-done. I just wanted my ceilings fixed and be done wth it. 28 days later I am left with bad ceilings, a bad paint job and I will be out more money to purchase additional paint. I will be repainting rooms I paid them to do. This was expensive, stressful and disappointing at best. Please save yourself the same. Find someone else. read more
