The job took one full day and, what timing-- it rained 3 inches two days later. I would have had to be down there all day with the leak with a wet vac/shop vac in order to avoid water damage. Instead, I went down to check every hour (as it was a practice I was used to whenever it rained) and NO WATER!! I was initially quoted $2.8k for the repair of a small piece of roof (50-60sqft) outside of our kitchen window. After I told the salesperson I wanted to discuss it with my husband, he returned with a new quote of $3.3k and claimed the original quote never existed. Since we already had water damage and needed the repair urgently because of the horrible CT winter, we felt pressured to move forward. But the repair also wasn't scheduled as quickly as promised. I had to make several calls to finally get someone to come out since the job was "too small" (yet they asked for three grand). Horrible sales experience. The technician, however, was excellent. When we experienced another small leak after the repair, he came back promptly and fixed it without hesitation. He was professional, responsive, and the only reason this review isn't zero star.

I felt that I could trust Jeremy with my home immediately and throughout the months of working with him he has maintained that position. Jeremy is very responsive, communicative, and leads a phenomenal team. At every step, Sensible Home Products impressed me with the care, precision, and result of their work. This job, which is a once in a lifetime investment in my home, included the removal of aluminum siding, installation of new vinyl siding, replacement of windows throughout my home, installation of new gutters, beautification of existing steps and installation of a new walkway with bluestone and pavers. While every single employee that I interacted with from Sensible Home Products was professional and did their job well, I must make a special call out to Victor and Alec who single handedly stripped my house of its old siding, wrapped my house in insulation, and installed the new siding. In addition to my surprise, Victor custom made all the trim around my windows and doors. That level of precision and care is highly unusual in the home improvement space considering that I see other companies install siding on neighbors' homes in just a few days.
