This is hands down the best place to do your wedding dress shopping! The experience was top notch, and every moment was thought through by the amazing April. When you think of Carmel shopping, high end boutique shops and beautiful Instagram scenery bubble to the top. Hera Bridal did not dissapoint. We emailed ahead, and requested the VIB service (Very Important Bride ;-) and boy did they deliver. Our party of 6 was greeted by the boutique owner April, and a beautiful spread of bubbles and nibbles. Every part of our greeting felt custom, right down to the brides Spotify playlist streaming in the background (yeah, we emailed that too). Unlike other boutiques, the dresses were there for us to browse through. April was a knowledgeable guide, and surprised us all with a perfect lineup that included our favorites, plus the ones that she knew would look great on our bride! The dressing room was large, with loads of mirrors, a raised floor, and a very secure drape. While she worked her magic dressing our bride, we all had cushy velvet chairs and sofas to plop on. Every 15 minutes, we were treated to another stunning gown reveal! We took loads of photos for reference, and April had her do the "sit test" in each dress. The last dress was the winner. There was no agonizing, it was just the perfect dress. There was no uncertainty - as the process was so smooth. We were worried about the price tag (we were so swept up in the process) - and it was a very pleasant surprise. We ordered and paid on the spot. Alterations can be made after the dress comes in, with April or with a local taylor in our area - it doesn't get much easier. We spent the rest of the day shopping and revisiting all the photos, with a job well done! You deserve the best as a bride. Head over to Hera, and be treated to the VIB experience. The shop is following proper protocols and had us wear our masks coming in as well as wash our hands. April kept her mask on but allowed us to be mask free which I appreciated. April was so helpful and really listened to what I wanted in a dress (while being mindful of the timeline I needed it by and pulling dresses that would be ready in time).
