It took 3 stylists just to hook the dress together before it could be zipped up. I had not gained any weight since ordering, and the dress felt like it had been ordered a size too small. The stylist who was helping me put on the dress kept reassuring me that the gown had a hard corset, and because it was strapless, it was meant to fit that tightly. Well before my actual wedding, I had my courthouse ceremony... I needed a lot of help to get the dress hooked on, and when it came time to drive to the courthouse, I couldn't even sit up. I had to lean the car seat all the way back in order to make it to the courthouse. The entire afternoon I was so uncomfortable that I didn't even want to drink water. After that experience, I brought my dress to Marina at Le Caprice. She took one look at my back and didn't even bother zipping me up. She assured me that my dress was too small, that it was not just in my head, and offered to remove the zipper and replace it with a corset back! I was nervous because I really loved the top part of my dress and how snatched it made my waist look, but when I received my dress it still looked just as perfect! Not only that, but I was completely comfortable in it when I was sitting and eating at my reception (: Marina was able to complete the alterations super fast at a fair price and I think the corset was elegantly executed. She didn't get mad, but instead she worked with me to figure out what we could do instead to make it within my budget. After showing me her expertise in knowing what to do to still make it look good, I knew I could trust her with my wedding dress. Things I never considered, she knew and could advise. For example, I honestly thought my wedding dress was good enough, but after her comment about the hip area for my red dress, I knew I just had to have her look at the white dress as well. All other items had a minimum $6.99 per item charge. I have sent them an email to ask about the unexpected charges. Will share more after I hear back from them. This was my first order. I'm worried it will be my last one too. Update: they called to explain that they have a had directed my order to the "Clean & Iron" department (includes dry cleaning) instead of "Wash & Fold" because it had dresses, (cotton) sweater and blouses. Thankfully, they refunded part of the extra charges, and gave me a Purple Tie credit for the remaining extra charge (worth 15lb of laundry.) They also added notes on their end to make sure any future orders go through wash & dry by default. I'm satisfied with their follow up and customer service (although I would have preferred full refund to credit card)

The second I walked in I got great service, the place was beautiful and well organized, they were busy but managed to acknowledge me, quickly I got help finding few colors and dress sizes, I was recommended to look into some of their catalogs where within minutes I found my perfect color and style, but it needed to be ordered. I was nervous since I had only a week to get my dress and they say it is possible and indeed they did it! Leti was super helpful doble checking on my size and ordered the dress right away, two days later she was calling me when arrived to go in for measurements, alterations were needed then three more days later Leti on her day off contacted me to let me know my dress was ready to be picked up! And not just ended there the next day she called me following up to make sure I was happy with my dress! Tell me if this is not taking care of your customer! They went the extra mile and I could not be happier! My dress was a dream, I wore it to a concert celebrating my birthday in LA and everyone came to me to tell me how beautiful I was dressed, looking like a princess in Disneyland town was a plus!. I went over the hill to San Jose, Campbell, down town Santa Cruz to find super expensive cheaply made dresses. I was referred to this Boutique by my sister Nicole, who ordered her wedding gown here for half of the price! So sure enought I found my designer gown they ordered it for me, it arrived in 3 days and they they added straps for only $25! Not only did I pay half the price on my Dave&Johnny designer dress the service here is amazing and these are real designer gowns at an amazing price compared to any place!!! Cali Couture Boutique is fabulous! I am turning 16 on January 1st and went in to look for a dress for my birthday dinner. Nathaly was the one who was very helpful and helped me look for a dress. I finally found one in the magazines which they can order for you. She said she would order the dress for me. The store she was ordering from she found out was closed. ): So she went out of her way to call the employees of the other store and ask if they would go in on their vacation and package and ship the dress for me. Luckily she found someone who did. I was so happy and blessed they went out of their way to make sure my 16th birthday would be perfect for me. This place is adorable & the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I needed a last minute flapper style dress for a Gatsby Night event that was three days away. They had a lovely black dress and they were able to send it in for alterations right away. I was even texted pictures of the materials that they would be using, so I could approve them. Also was able to buy a few adorable accessories to match the dress(& a corset to go underneath the dress). Don't judge a book by its cover! I have driven past this little place so many times and I am so pleased I stopped in! The staff is incredible and went above and beyond to help me get ready for a very formal event within a VERY short time frame. The two ladies that helped my best friend with her dress were absolutely sweet! They were so bright and funny and helped us with every question we had. I have a Navy Ball to attend in Connecticut in less than a week. I had unfortunately ordered a dress off of Etsy and am not sure it will get here on time, so I went in Cali Couture today. I regret not having gone in sooner. The sales associate was amazing.
