Moving to a new area means finding a new brow lady and I'm so glad I've found mine. It is easy to make an appointment here and the ladies know exactly what to do every time. I don't even have to say much. I say not too thin and they do their thing and I've been happy every time. I've also gotten upper lip done and these ladies do a great job. I'm in and out in usually 15 minutes. They accept both cash and card but there is an extra small fee for paying with card. Street parking only. I've been going to this place since 2008. They're very nice sisters and very friendly. They always advise me to come back every 3 weeks, which I think is a little too soon to be getting my eyebrows done. I also have a job and I go to school, so I very rarely have any free time to come back every so often. When I come back, which could range from a month or 2 months later, I always hear the same complaint about how I should come back every 3 week, my eyebrows are too bushy, etc. It gets way too overplayed, way too quickly. But hey, I liked the way my eyebrows look after going to them, so I suck it up. Yesterday was the last straw for them. I went in at around 12:20pm and as I was walking towards the door, a customer walked out. I entered and the lady goes "Oh, I'm sorry I already did 3 customers and I'm alone, can you come back in 45 minutes?" I was taken back. I told her that I could not because I have work for 1:00pm. After hearing that, I would've assumed that she would've squeezed me in. I am, of course, a customer who is willing to pay to get her eyebrows done. She immediately said sorry, and started walking towards the back. What? You actually turned away a loyal customer that has been coming there since 2008? I couldn't believe it. As a retail associate, I believe that you should NEVER turn away a customer. They're the reason why your business is still there. I'm sorry, Herbal Beauty. I liked you until you turned me away. You will never see my face again, and I will tell everyone about my horrible experience with you guys. That is not how you run a business. Never turn away a loyal customer. I mean the girl that did my eyebrows was nice but I asked her to shape and thread my brows & I had to actually correct her on how to make an arch that suits my face.. on top of that, she tinted my brows with a shade that adds no difference essentially looking the same as before.. I even told her to use dark brown but she insisted medium brown. Disappointing. The service was mediocre & the results were underwhelming. read more

Average. I had to run in quickly for eyebrows, and I wasn't impressed. I explained that I was growing my brows out for a fuller, chic, lower maintenance brow. They seemed to want me to do other services/buy products. If a phenomenal job was done on the brows I probably would have bit. But the result for me was underwhelming. They did try to push castor oil to help grow my them out. That part I appreciate because I like natural products. read more

I am a "regular" client here for the past 3-4 years so I feel that it is time to write a small review. I am a male-mid twenties and I have some relatively bushy brows. My sister advised me to go here as she is very picky with her spots. Not only is this salon efficient to get me cleaned up, but its relatively inexpensive to get threading done. They offer a "frequent customer" card, so after the 5th threading session, the 6th is free. Buy 5 get 1 free is OK in my book. You need to remember the small punch card. I recommend!! read more

I decided to get a henna tattoo to celebrate my cousin's destination wedding. I found Herbal Beauty Salon because it was close to my house. I spoke to Voni (sorry if I misspelled your name) who explained the differences of the designs that I had picked out as well as making sure that the right product was used that would endure a weekend of sun and water sports. She advised that it would be best to do it today giving it time to settle so the color will really come out by the wedding day. She did the designs on my shoulder and lower leg; and I have to say that it came out better than the original design!!! I'm so happy with it and can't wait to see the finished product. Voni is great and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a henna tattoo. Also, the salon is clean, quiet, and had a peaceful aroma which created a relaxing atmosphere. Great threading salon! All the ladies here do a fantastic job with threading eyebrows. I can only speak for eyebrow threading, as that's all I've ever gotten done here, but I have seen their work on threading the face and their henna work as well...it's BEAUTIFUL!
