I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I've received at Herbal Nails and Spa, especially during my last two visits, including today. Both times, I had scheduled appointments, yet I was still made to wait well past my appointment time. Today in particular, my appointment was pushed back, and after arriving, I was made to wait an additional 25 minutes on top of already being delayed. I essentially waited most of the day, only to be treated as if I was an inconvenience. When I explained to Katie that I had a budget I needed to stay within, her demeanor completely changed. She became visibly irritated and told me she "didn't have the patience" to do my nails. That is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. A client communicating their budget should never be met with attitude or refusal of service. What's most concerning is the pattern. The last two times I've come here, I've been treated as if my money isn't good enough. Staff have acted uncomfortable, avoided me, and even walked to the back of the salon and did not return, leaving me sitting there unsure of what was happening. It made me feel singled out and unwelcome. After making me wait all day and then refusing proper service, I was offered $15 to come back tomorrow, as if my time had no value. That felt dismissive and disrespectful. Professionalism, respect, and equal treatment should be standard for every customer. My experience here has made me feel uncomfortable and undervalued, and I cannot recommend this salon based on how I was treated. read more

Love this place and the SNS gel product! Tom was my technician. Here's the scoop: Tom was VERY precise and detailed when applying the product. The final result was perfection. Great shape to the nail and the length I asked for. The gel product was new to me as I've never tried the SNS gel powder before. LOVE IT. No smell and no 'cooking' process under the light. SOOOO many colors to choose from. The process was about an hour but I have to say I like the final look of this better than the other gel products I've tried. The edges around the cuticle are smooth -- no bumps, glops or ridges. The salon itself looks brand new and it was super clean. I will definitely be back... this is my new favorite nail salon. I love this nail salon! My first visit I walked in and was helped immediately, and my nails looked amazing!! I love the SNS powder dip and the techs here do an amazing job. Today was my second visit, but I made an appointment as it's Saturday an I knew it would be busy. My aunt and I were taken back for our pedicure, right on time... we both enjoyed our relaxing pedi. This would be my 4th time into Herbal Nails & Spa and every time has been a pleasure. The work they do is fabulous. I get the SNS dip. With my super busy schedule, I go a very long time in between getting my nails done and this if the first salon that my nails do not break or chip in between dips!! They don't complain when you walk in at 5:50 pm to get them done (as I have done this) the staff are attentive, friendly and don't take short cuts just to get you out the door! I went to this salon with my mom and my sister, and we all had a great time. It's very clean, elegant, and most importantly, doesn't have the usual overwhelming smell that you encounter in other salons. The staff was very friendly and the receptionist (Lexi, I think) answered all of our questions well. We all did the SNS healthy herbal manicure and regular pedicure. I tried this place because I am new to the area and my normal salon is 30 minutes away. I now realize that a 30 minute drive is worth it for good service. I had a regular mani and regular pedi from Tina. My feet look worse than when I went in. I have dry, peeling skin and the polish on both my hands and feet look like a 5 year old did it. The techs speak to each other in their language rather than to the customers. It is a nice salon, but not overly welcoming and warm. I will not be giving them any of my future business. read more

I have never had acrylic nails before because of the harsh chemicals and damaging effects it does to your nails. I was ecstatic when I heard that there is healthier and better alternative to getting beautiful long nails! My experience at herbal nails and spa was wonderful. Ivy did an amazing job doing my nail extensions. My nails feel awesome and are very strong and durable. I was passed from one nail technician then back to Lisa, the technician who was originally recommended to me. Unfortunately, my nails started breaking just three days later, and I ended up having to remove the acrylic set myself. The shape was uneven, and overall, the nails looked poorly done and sloppy. I decided to give them another chance today and came in for a new set. I specifically told Lisa multiple times that I like my nails long and skinny. She acknowledged my request but still gave me her version of "long and skinny," which was not what I asked for. Instead, they turned out short and bulky and completely opposite of what I asked for. To make matters worse, the polish application looks like something I could have done myself at home. There was an air bubble on my nails and Lisa also applied three coats of polish trying to correct it, but the finish is still patchy and full of imperfections. I really wanted to support this business because of the recommendation, but after multiple disappointing experiences, I don't feel the quality, attention to detail, or customer service justify the price. After giving them several chances, I won't be coming back. Not to mention, Lisa had the audacity to ask for a tip at the end of the appointment. Tipping is meant to reward good service and quality work. Despite the poor results during my previous visit, I still tipped her. After this experience, I found it inappropriate to be asked for a tip again when my concerns were ignored and the work was not completed as requested.

i was a bit skeptical because of the reviews but decided to give this place a try since i live so…read moreclose, i was greeted right away and there was 4 people already getting pedicures, i did a walk in without an appointment and as soon as i was done signing in i got sat, the place was clean and tidy, the selection of services and nails polishes is great, i had the pleasure of getting my pedi done by Lin, she was kind and friendly, the prices are also reasonable i will definitely be back soon!
