My first visit was about 4 weeks ago for my first body wax in a semi sensitive area and it was with a person who was very nice and understanding and kept me distracted by asking very social questions about what to watch on tv and movies and that type of thing and the appointment went great at the end of the appointment in the lobby she was able to recommend a product for me to use which I bought and have been using since. I scheduled a follow up appointment for another area of the body that was much more sensitive and would probably be more painful. The day before my appointment I received a message that my original waxer was no longer with the salon and I was being rescheduled for the same time with a different person, which was fine with me. My wax appointment took place today and I came away very disappointed with the experience. I had explained to the waxing specialist that this was my first time waxing that body area and that I was very new to body waxing, and in general. I was shocked at how painful the waxing was but to make it worse the waxy specialist did a sales job on their products the entire time I was there, which made it even more stressful and completely ruined the experience for me and cured me from wanting me to go back to that location. It is not necessary to force feed a sale talk when someone is getting a service. Not only did I not get any product but I didn't book any future appointments.

The walls, equipment, and work areas often look messy and not well maintained, which takes away from the overall experience. It was also concerning to see employees leaving snacks and drinks around the salon while customers were getting services done. That's not appropriate in a place where hygiene should be a priority. I had been going here for about a year for dip powder nails, but over time my nail beds became very damaged. On my last visit, I decided to switch back to a regular manicure instead. The technician clearly wasn't happy about it because it's much cheaper, and her attitude changed immediately. She became grumpy and unprofessional, which made the experience very uncomfortable. The staff can be friendly, so if you are looking for a budget friendly salon, this place is not too bad. I was just disappointed with the poor attitude during my last visit so I won't be going back.

When I arrived, I had to tell them who I was with and that I had an appointment. Not 15 minutes into my appointment, the manager came over to say he needed to take over because the tech had another appointment. When I stated that I also had an appointment with her, he said sorry, but she has another one now. My pedicure took all of 20 minutes. I have never felt so rushed than I was here and the quality of the work is not as good as my usual place. Lesson learned, stick with what you know.
