I've been buying from them for months-.. well on occasion. They're not bad! The Molasses Ribbon Candy they put out is excellent. As are the hard candies, both spice flavored and fruit flavored. Polar bear patties were amazing. Snack clubs were especially great. The oh-.. OH THE COW CHIPS. Those. To die for. Maybe the only thing that I wasn't too crazy for was the Cookies n' Cream bark. Objective feedback from a fan of the YT channel who just ordered online For the first time. I ordered chocolate covered animal crackers, potato chip bark, and a small nine piece chocolate assortment - - all in dark chocolate. The dark chocolate it's self was delicious, rich and creamy. The potato chip park was delicious. The chocolate covered animal crackers were pretty basic, and didn't have much flavor to them. The nine piece chocolate assortment was the biggest letdown. The creams that I got were over sweet and tasted like artificial flavoring. My biggest issue is the cost of shipping from New York to California. The order cost $70 including shipping, which made up half the price. That made it the most expensive candy I've ever purchased. I was particularly disappointed since the amount of candy I received was actually much less than I even thought I was going to get. The candy itself was mostly delicious and I'm giving it three stars for that but the shipping costs are outrageous. read more

I wound up watching a hard candy video on YouTube and then watched a few more they had shot regarding the new store, how they make creme fillings, the starch room, hard candy, chocolates, etc. And, so, I ordered some Cashew Brittle and a 1lb box of assorted chocolates. As someone in his very early 50's who, is one of the youngest siblings in his family and who grew up in New England, I remember locally made chocolates and candies from parties with my Aunts and Uncles and Cousins and family reunions, prior to boxed chocolates from mass manufactured companies. So, what I'm about to write is solely based on my own personal tastes and history. The Cashew Brittle is what I remember when I was very young at my Aunt's house. Not sticky, shiny coating, crackle into shards of gum piercing candy from candy companies that pump this out in giant batches and bundle it in tins for a four year shelf life. Just good, damn, brittle. Crunchy, flavorful, cashewy. The assorted chocolates were an absolute treat! I haven't had flavors like that, again, since I was a kid. The assortment was delightful with many different fillings and by the way, the caramel was awesome! The other major item I loved was the chocolates were the right size. Enough to fill the assortment box and plenty to share. I shared with my 80yr old plus parents and they were fans right away. I'm going to order hard candies as soon as they are ready and I will be ordering chocolates for holidays and events moving forward. Buy it. Try it. Share it. You'll love it. read more

I ordered the smoked almond brittle after watching the YouTube video where they made it. It came quickly. The bottom of the bag was full of broken brittle powder. Honestly, I was disappointed. It was kinda nasty. Maybe I just don't like liquid smoke....I dunno. But in the video everyone was saying this was their new favorite brittle behind pecan so I just HAD to try it. My husband didn't like it either. Said it was bitter. So now I'm questioning their videos....and they used to make me so happy. Hopefully it was just this product and they haven't been lying to us the whole time. Plus I didn't get a gold star and I don't know why. lol read more

I started watching the chocolate covered cherries youtube video, it hooked me. We introducted this family to our family while visiting for Christmas. We had to visit the new store since they lived only two hours away. What a delight they are in the videos and in person as well! The products are all delicious, and I am not a big chocolat fan. I love this place. I can't call it the best in Syracuse until I've tried a few more places, but they're definitely in the top two/three. First, let me start with the customer service. They're always friendly and super helpful here. It's a relatively small operation, they make and package their candy on-site so they're always running around inside, but the customer service never suffers for it. It's always active in there--I love it because it means everything is always fresh! The first time I went, the lady who rang me up, had made my chocolates earlier that day and was packaging boxes of chocolates when I came in. I love that everyone owns every part of the process. Now, on to the good stuff! And man is it good! Everything I've had here has been meticulously made--the chocolate is like velvet, the caramel is smooth, the nuts are perfectly toasted, the dipped items aren't caked in chocolate. Everything is a pleasure to eat. If you can't decide, you can buy most of their items in a single serving size. You can't go wrong with a box of assorted chocolates. They come in at least 3 sizes: 1/4 lb, 1/2 lb, 1 lb, and 2 lb (might be a holiday season size). They're also willing to customize a box for you and if they're out of something, you can leave your name down for the next batch. My name is down for a box of turtles for the holidays. My sister told me their turtles were some of the best she's ever had so they're going in her holiday basket. She's had the things everywhere so she would know! They'll also ship gift baskets for you. You tell them what you want to spend and what you want to include and they deal with shipping. read more

Ordered assorted cream center chocolates and truffles both are absolutely divine. Best chocolates I've ever had. These people have a permanent customer. Granted the cost is kind of high but it is so worth the price. Shipping was fast and they labeled the package exactly as requested. I came across their YouTube channel and after watching how they make candy, I decided to place an order on their website. It was extremely easy to order what I wanted. I recommend everyone at least try their candy. You'll see what I mean. Not worth the money. So, the Ribbon Candy, DO NOT order online and have it shipped, unless you are okay with it arriving in smashed, tiny pieces. They do say right on the website that there's 'no whining' about receiving busted candy, but I don't think 'busted' is really the right description. It should say 'no whining if you receive a bag of candy dust'. My other issue is when I called to whine, I nicely explained that I had ordered a few different kinds of candy for my wife on our anniversary, and that my wife is a huge fan of the show, but the ribbon candy was delivered all smashed up. I hadn't even asked for anything yet, but was immediately told 'you have no recourse' (weird) and 'we have no boxes that the ribbon candy would fit in'. Shipping costs alone were almost $40! Two day shipping fee needed because chocolate melts, $2 extra for ice pack, and I guess who doesn't make extra money on shipping? So I hesitantly agreed, dreaming about the moment I'd surprise my wife with a box of delicious candy, all from her favorite show....and spoonfuls of ribbon candy dust. $40 shipping and you can't find a protective box that the ribbon candy can go in???!!!???
