Fantastic experience. If you are going spend $32.99 on a single ribeye steak, you want to know you are getting something excellent. Something you cannot get for $14.99 at the local market. This was the best steak I have ever made at home, and rivals steaks that I have had at pretty good restaurants. All the meat is frozen and separated by farm of origin. All the steaks are wagyu from Austrialian cattle, some grass fed, some barley and grain fed. The cashier was a young guy, but he could tell me all which cattle were fed what, what produced a fattier steak than another one. He recommended I think the Atelier steak, grass fed, $32.99 for a ribeye, because it was tasty but not as fatty as the grain fed ones, which was what I was looking for. His recommendation was to thaw for one day in fridge, pat dry, then season with salt and pepper in fridge for another day. I did that, patted it dry, and salted one more time, then did a reverse sear on the steak. I baked it at low temperature (250 degrees F) until the steak reached an internal temp of 120 degrees F. Then seared 1 min on each side in a hot cast iron pan and little less than 1 min on the edges. Let rest for 10 mins then sliced. Damn, I could tell just by slicing it how soft and tender it was. And when I took that first bite, wow. The best steak I have ever made at home. Served with homemade sourdough bread and a salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing. An excellent meal. One that you savor. And one that you can share. My wife and I actually shared one steak and it was so tasty, so satisfying, that we were full on 2/3 of the steak. Summary: if you want an excellent steak, one that tastes amazing with just salt and pepper and good technique, go to Herd and Grace. It is pricey, and not something I can get every week, but I will be coming back. read more

The day I visited I had the opportunity to learn about their membership program plus experience some of their cuts of meats that they were barbecuing. The meats we were sample were top notch. The offerings of meats is quite varied plus you can grab a new bbq.. meat is not cheap but you are paying for the quality of their offerings The store seemed very cleaned and organized. Found this place local glad I did. The ground beef is 100% ground beef and I think $8 lb. So much more high quality and fresh but cheaper than Ralph's. The wide selection of high quality meats available was a lot of fun to check out. They showed me everything in depth were very nice people and even cooked a steak on the spot for a couple of us to try. I'm absolutely shocked there are no reviews yet! I first heard of Herd & Grace working from home in December 2023 and saw their amazing demo on KTLA's morning broadcast. Believe me, I was sold! I wrote down the promo code they gave on TV since I knew I'd stop by and check it out (after giving them a follow on Instagram and reviewing their delicious website)! Herd & Grace prides itself for selling premium cuts of meat normally sold to restaurant chefs by making them available to the public. Check out their website for options and prices before going in. Once we arrived, we were assisted by two friendly staffers able to answer any questions. It was 2:30pm on a Friday, so we were the only customers. Being the end of the year, we also had to take advantage of that KTLA promo! I purchased 2-2.5lb cut of tri-tip to make for my NYE dinner. I wanted to sample a couple other options and purchased a 1-lb of ground beef and another 1-lb package of Spanish Iberico pork/beef ground. Also know this is not a sit-down restaurant. Come to purchase the already sealed cuts of meat and shop for har-to-find spices and sauces for sale. I look forward to cooking my cuts for my family and hope to return soon! read more

I stopped by Herd & Grace for the first time today and the person who was working there was extremely cordial and gave me a major tour of all their different meats and seasonings. I just finished my first steak that was a ribeye and it was excellent. The prices are definitely a bit on the high side but I guess in life you get what you pay for. In case you're not aware, this is the old Omaha steak store next to barbecues galore. I think it's a good thing for the neighbor to have a nice variety or meat's & seasonings , I will be coming back. I really like what this place has going on. Very thoughtful selection of products. I've been three times in the last year, and haven't been disappointed with anything. If I had to pick one item that's a standout, I'd say that the boneless F1 ribeye is probably my favorite, and probably one of the best store-available steaks in Los Angeles pound for pound. I've had excellent meat from The Joint, Gwen, Capital Meats, and even Eataly, but the F1 ribeye here is just on point. I'd like to see a 20oz boneless cut, but I'm not complaining. I would get all my meat here if I made a little more $$, but it's nice to get some stuff for special occasions. read more

Consistently excellent, above and beyond the quality of steaks from any other retailers. Used to buy steaks at Costco and online from creek stone farms, not anymore! Over the last 6 months I've tried from the black opal, Robbins Island and wanderer collections. I like that the cattle are raised ethically with an emphasis on quality of meat. Full blood Wagyu/Robbins island is incredibly succulent and parallels the top Wagyu cuts you can purchase at high end restaurants, at a fraction of the price. I was really looking forward to going to Herd and Grace for my very first time and my experience was fantastic! I purchased the 8 oz Mayura filet mignon and the Black Opal filet mignon. The next day, I tried the Mayura filet and it was probably the best filet mignon I have ever tasted, even better than the best steakhouses in Beverly Hills. The customer service is A+ and I would definitely recommend this place to people who are looking to purchase high quality meat. Finally a meat sore where you know what farm exactly your meat comes from. Tasmania (Australia) has the freshest air and cows are humanly raised. Each farm is listed and you can read about it in details. It's so important for me to know that, and it should be for you as well. It's also best tasting meat I have had. I am now a man in my father's eyes because of Herd and Grace. I brought home a few ribeyes and NY steaks for my family and everyone one was blown away by the flavor and the quality. I was able to tell them about where the steaks came from, what the cow was fed, and the bleeding and cutting that was done to give the meat its awesome flavor. Herd & Grace supplies the best meat you can find in the state. Everything is shipped from overseas and is top notch. I have been coming here for the last few months and everything I buy has been a home run. The Porterhouse Steaks and burgers were loved by all at the BBQ we had last week. The pork and lamb are amazing too! Everything is flash frozen and can be thawed out in the fridge overnight.
