There are only 2 stylists here which makes for a calm, enjoyable and very personal experience. I get my hair cut like clockwork every 4 weeks, appointments are easy to schedule online. If you are not techy you can schedule ahead of time after every appointment. The products they sell are amazing and reasonably priced. If you want a complimentary glass of wine, cup of tea or French press coffee it will always be offered. The salon esthetic is inviting. Lofty ceilings with an industrial modern feel. There are eclectic touches of old and new all softened with the use of plants and tons of natural light. I find myself looking forward to my appointments for the obvious reasons but also to spend time in Melissa's chair. Over the years I can say that she has become a great friend. I look forward to our talks about literally everything under the sun and it is also a plus that she gives one heck of a scalp massage during a hair wash. I booked for $55 blowout and paid $138. I would have been okay with the $140 if it didn't feel like I was being manipulated and robbed. I was offered things that should have been included and without disclosing the price. She said it was posted. In which I didn't see but if you or even your husband is offering a product, you let the person know how much the additional charge is and explain it's not included to avoid the many reviews with people feeling like you didn't disclose your true price. My daughter is 11. Her head is small, and her hair is very dense due to alopecia, so the additional charge just for the so called blow out doesn't make sense. They also added an additional $40 to clip her ends. The owners said that clipping ends is the same as a haircut. But a haircut is a style, and clipping ends focuses on trimming damaged hair only, but even so, how can you do a blowout without clipping the ends. It would look a mess. But a lesson learned. He certainly did not rush either as I was very happy with how my hair looked when he was done.
