My husband and I have traveled extensively over the years, but as we started to plan a trip for a wedding in the Netherlands, and then travel into Germany and Switzerland, we realized we needed some detailed guidance. This was our first experience using a travel concierge and we were thrilled to find Here to the Moon Travel. I reached out to Michele for help and ideas planning our family trip for 2016. I called her a year in advance (she probably thought I was nuts), gave her an idea of what we were and were not looking for and she recommended a few ideas. After some back and forth, we decided on Beaches Turks & Caicos. Michele was a pleasure to work with through the whole process and answered any questions or concerns I had. It was so nice to have someone handling all the logistics for us and we just needed to show up at the airport. Our honeymoon to Croatia was amazing and went off without a hitch thanks to Michele! We began working with Michele several months before our trip and she helped us along every step of the way. She began the process by suggesting an overall itinerary based our trip length. We then used this as a template and built our trip. We relied heavily on Michele contacting local people in-country for suggestions for day trips and hotels and when it came time to book everything she made the whole process very easy. Michele is not only the best travel agent I have ever worked with, she also has been the most incredible display of customer service that I've ever experienced. I tasked her with coordinating an incredibly complicated trip (Iceland, France, Toulouse, Kenya and Cairo). She more than delivered on all of our high maintenance requests (5-start hotels, interesting layovers, guides, excursions, etc.). The thing that meant the most to us is that when we had any problems with visas, hotels, or anything, she was extremely responsive DURING the trip (this meant working late in the night due to 7 hour time zone difference). We truly enjoyed all aspects of the trip and were so happy to have the ability to break it up between Paris, Nice and Monaco.
