I went in for breakfast and noted the fountain drink dispenser looks as if it hasn't been cleaned in a year. There was mold on it and it was just splattered and filthy. These machines need to be broken down regularly and cleaned so as not to grow bacteria. The manager needs to give it some attention. I almost took a picture of it to post but decided it was too disgusting.

The server was attentive and happy to explain the specials and give recommendations to this gringo that may not have understood everything. I tried the picadillo with flour tortillas and it was excellent. It had ground beef with potatoes and peppers. Very tasty. One of the things that sets this place about it the attention that comes to the sides. I LOVED the rice I could have eaten a pot of it. When I proclaimed my love for their rice they even offered an extra helping. You can't beat that!! They were both wonderful. I'm usually not too impressed with most cakes and cupcakes from any place that isn't home made and these were absolutely wonderful. The buttercream frosting was spot-on, creamy and delicious, just the right amount of sweetness. The girl even told me their frosting wasn't overly sweet and I see why she mentioned that. It was a perfect match with the rich moist chocolate cake. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that the case that used to have cinnamon rolls was missing. I mentioned it to the girl because I remembered how good their cinnamon rolls were. She said they didn't sell cinnamon rolls anymore which was disappointing. She mentioned a new owner took over last October. Whoever she is she's doing it right, cinnamon rolls are not. I can get those at Kind House Bakery or Girasol Bakery.
