Not gonna lie, I was surprised to see Mock's show up on Yelp's list in such a (very) small town. We were happy to support local and so drove over. Super cute space. Friendly staff and very patient as we checked out the menu and made decisions. We both ordered vanilla lattes with an extra espresso shot. Long drives require proper liquid fueling, lol. No sweetener needed which was a first for me. Nice. Him: ham and cheese sandwich on an English muffin. Me: bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. They made it while we waited. Small town, homemade. It hit the spot and was something you'd find at home. Nothing particularly special but also a great local find, if that makes sense. read more

Thee best bacon breakfast burrito that I have had since the last time we were in Clayton. A must stop! Husband had a vanilla latte and we topped it off with a wonderful sundae made with ice cream, caramel syrup, expresso and whipped cream. Hooray for small town coffee shops that are BOSS status! Serving Breve style coffee (along with many other options including breakfast) and a wall full of flavors to add, had me giddy to try my first sip. Sweet sigh, delicious! In fact, a few hours later the hubs wanted to stop in again for another drink. Something we try to avoid on a road trip with so many choices. Ha We also "shared" a Sausage, egg, and cheese McMuffin. I say shared, because my one bite turned into half. Pretty darn tasty. Mock Coffee is legit and I will smile every time I see my sticker y'all gave me. read more

Honestly, I'm not sure how this place has such a high rating. We stopped here traveling through, and it was TERRIBLE. I asked the girl if she had and special for lattes and she's turned around and said um yes, but I'm not really sure what they are. The coffee its self was just terrible. read more

Oh my goodness, so initially I was frustrated when I read on their website "no bathroom, it isn't going to get fixed, go next door to the laundromat". But, I couldn't get past all the 5 star reviews about being so friendly and fast. So, we ended up stopping here and I'm so glad we did!! It's a precious little place with wonderful coffee, food, and service. We could tell it is a frequent stop for travelers, as everyone we visited with was on the road either going on vacation or coming back from it. And, I will say my husband and I said that the laundromat bathrooms were officially the cleanest we've ever seen! So, just go across the street to powder your nose, but stop here for a great breakfast!! read more

My americano was perfect and the breakfast burrito was great. The building and decor is vintage cool. Service was good, it's truly family owned and operated with the father making the food, mother making the coffee and a daughter working the register. I could overhear a small family squabble with the daughter that they worked out. It just added to the charm of family owned in my opinion. Traveling from OK to CO and stopped at this mom and pop coffee shop! This town kinda seemed like a dead and quiet area so I was shocked to see a coffee shop! It seemed to do well! We enjoyed chatting with an elder gentleman who was having some breakfast while we waited for our coffee's and pastries. My hubs got a lavender latte that he said he liked. I got an oat milk matcha latte which was delicious. We shared a cherry turnover which was so fresh and flaky it had to be made in house! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area! read more

The drinks and pastries were very good. The place is small, but inviting. Be prepared for a line so long it will wrap around. It's eclectic: little museum, store, and coffee shop. There's a drive through too. The owner works fast and furious, but so friendly! The guy helping her looks like, maybe, her dad? He takes the order, gets supplies, and packages up the food. She'll call your name, give you your drinks, and ring up the purchases. The people are friendly. Nice Mom & Pop style outfit, with good coffee and a great breakfast sandwich. There is a drive through if you don't have time to stop. The interior has a handful of tables and is warm and comfortable. The wifi was nice for catching up with folks while on the road. Easy parking. Everyone was friendly from up front staff, barista, to the kitchen. My cappuccino was so delicious that I ordered a second one. Who would have thought I'd be able to get a matcha latte in a small town in New Mexico, but lo and behold, I was able to get my fix during our trip from Wichita to Santa Fe. Small spot for a quick cup of Joe or a quick bite while you drive through the small town. read more

Traveling from CO to TX and had to stop again. Love this place! Quick drive thru- I ordered a medium hot vanilla oat milk latte again, so good! My mom ordered an unsweetened chai latte as she's on a sugar free diet-she said it was really tasty. The kiddo ordered a cinnamon roll and ate the whole thing in about 2 minutes- grinning like a wild cat. This place is a gem- all the Okies and Texans returning from CO- stop here! read more

Do not stop here!! I would give negative stars if I could. The man and woman running this business were not friendly or welcoming AT ALL. They were arguing back and forth while they were cooking our food, yelling obscenities at each other as if no one was in the building. Then as we were leaving, someone turned in the parking lot the wrong way (which was an honest mistake because it's not clearly marked and literally no one else was around so not a big deal) and the guy screamed at the driver and then started cussing at him and told him to "Go the f&@k back to Texas!" His kid even started yelling obscenities at the driver!! We thought it looked like a cool place to stop for breakfast and the reviews were great. After we left we read a little deeper into the reviews and there's a few negative ones we missed that were pretty spot on to our experience. This place should be shut down for how horrible the people are to not only customers but also to each other, and the food was barely mediocre. The coffee was good and I wanted to buy a pound to take home, but I'm so glad I didn't give them more of my money. read more

Come for the coffee...but I can't recommend the breakfast. Maybe it was just a bad day, but the vibe between the lady who took our order and the cook was not great. He had attitude and she was trying to keep things going between customers at the counter (us) and the busy drive-thru. Sarcasm and negativity from the cook translated into a poorly scrambled veggie bowl (eggs, cheese, peppers, black beans). The ingredients certainly seemed fresh and the homemade salsa was great - so the blame for the mediocrity of the meals lays with the cook. On the plus side: Our coffee (an Americano with oat milk and a mocha) was delicious! The place itself was small and should have been charming but whatever was going on between them affected the whole space. We were going to eat there but left and found a place down the road to pull over and eat. That should tell you how it felt there. All that to say - give it a try for coffee but see how things are going in the kitchen before you commit to a meal! read more
