We ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer for the table to share. This was the first time I've ever had them served this way with the rice and spinach, but it was a pretty good combination. I had the scallop risotto, it was a bit pricey for what you get, but not bad. The mixed drinks were just ok. I enjoyed the wines, and i would join if i lived locally. I asked some questions about their production and was very lucky to get to chat up the winemaker. The winery is a cooperative of local vineyards who is the source of the grape. The winemaker went to school in canada in viticulture and enology, and was very indulgent with an old guy asking questions. it sounded like there were opportunities for interested wine club members to help with the crush and bottling of each years vintage, making it all the more personal

The counter and eating area was clean and cute. There are areas to seat, including tables and bar style tables at the windows. There is also an area with alcohol and sodas for sale. Today was a warm day and they had all the doors propped open to create a breeze. I could imagine enjoying a morning or afternoon working in there or visiting with friends. I look forward to returning and trying their baked goods (cookies, cakes and muffins).
