This is the golf course i've developed my game at for the last couple months and i can't stop coming back. i've played here at least once a week for the past 4-5 months and have only had one bad interaction that was settled quickly between the starter and the group behind us, no harm no foul. pace of play can become an issue at certain times but honestly that can be said about most golf courses on any given day. i've been here early mornings and late evenings and the course is always in good shape, significantly better shape then some surrounding courses for the price. If your looking to play a quick 9 on a solid course then heritage is the best place. i expect i will be a regular here for quite some time and thats is perfectly fine with me read more

Very disappointing experience at Heritage Creek. While playing on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, our group was repeatedly being yelled at by the group behind us to "hurry up," even while we were waiting. It was especially frustrating because we were not holding them up and were actually waiting to continue play. The group included an employee, who was driving a Ranger cart. Because an employee was involved, I found the situation particularly disappointing and unprofessional. We eventually waited for them around the 7th hole because we wanted to ask directly why they were yelling at us. We weren't looking for an argument--we simply wanted to address the situation face-to-face and understand why we were being rushed when we were already waiting. I understand that pace of play matters, but yelling at customers to hurry up--especially when they are already waiting--is not an appropriate way to handle it. I would expect better from a golf course and especially from its employees. read more

Will never return here. The old fat guy on the golf cart approached us very aggressively and accused us of "hiding our carts" on the first hole so the players behind us couldn't see us? They were parked next to the sign that said "carts", so if we were doing something wrong, we were not aware. You don't treat paying customers the way he did. Extremely unprofessional, I just wish he would have got the manager as he threated to, so I could have let him know what an ignorant and rude employee he is. He was overly concerned about our speed of play, but it doesn't take a genius to know you can only go as fast as the group in front of you. read more

But what happened on hole 9 crossed every imaginable line. While playing, 15-20 flares were suddenly being fired off nearby. Naturally concerned, we went to ask Superintendent Todd what was going on. He approaches us -- flare gun still in hand like some Wild West cowboy with a revolver -- and instead of explaining, the first words out of his mouth were: "Go fuck yourselves." He then proceeded to insult us, telling us that we "suck at golf" and that it "doesn't really matter anyway." According to him, he didn't realize this was "that important" to us. Well Todd -- maybe it is that important after we've spent thousands of dollars at this course over the years. Just because this isn't Augusta doesn't mean patrons deserve to be treated like garbage. For a superintendent -- someone whose paycheck exists because of people like us -- this level of arrogance, unprofessionalism, and flat-out disrespect is beyond words. Heritage Golf Club should seriously evaluate who they have representing their facility. To management and ownership: this is not a minor complaint. This is a reflection of a toxic culture you are allowing to exist at your club. If your superintendent thinks this is an acceptable way to treat paying, loyal customers, then your leadership has failed. This review will not be the last place this story is shared. To other golfers: spend your money somewhere else. There are plenty of excellent courses that would gladly welcome your business without berating you and treating you like second-class citizens. I played night glow golf here and it was a fun time. The course is 9 holes. I returned to play during daylight. Course was in good shape, greens were fast. However, the staff (excluding the cart kids) are the worst I've experienced in years. The gentleman at check in desk was bothered that we wanted to pay money to play the course. The other gentleman acting as the starter was annoyed when we looped around to play our second nine (that we booked and paid for ahead of time). Here's a tip, you run a customer based business; don't treat your customers like it's their privilege to play your course. I would rather play a course that values its customers. The kids working the carts were hard working and very polite. The starter was an older man with a beard, he should work the carts with the kids to learn something. read more

Have had less than stellar experiences here since May 2023. First off, booked a tee time - first one of the day - to squeeze in 9 holes before work. Received multiple emails & texts in the days leading up confirming my tee time. Arrived that morning to have the morning tee times on a "frost delay" of at least 90 minutes ... no advanced notice on this, however. Secondly, have been getting the runaround for the past three weeks on a refund - or even a credit - for this tee time. If I was the one who cancelled last minute, or was a no-show, I would understand the no refund policy. Lastly, took my teenage sons and elderly father-in-law for a Sunday afternoon round. Course was packed. Holes were backed up. We were waiting on the twosome in front of us, they were waiting on the foursome in front of them, etc. But the marshal tells -US- to speed up play, as we are holding groups up behind us? It'll be a long time before HCGC gets my business again. Good thing Neshaminy Valley is right around the corner ... read more

The below experience happened to my father: "My brother in law asked me to play golf with him yesterday. He likes Heritage Creek and signed us up as a twosome at 10 AM. When we arrived we were told we were in a foursome. We felt uncomfortable about doing that during this Covid environment and expressed it immediately. When the other two showed up they were in a car filled with people making us more uneasy. They were asked if they live in the same household and they said yes. No ID was checked. We immediately asked for a new time or a refund. We were berated by the owner(?) and told not to tell him how to run his business and if we didnt like it don't come back. We got no refund. I get that making money is a priority but not at the expense of someone's safety." read more

Played this course the other day and overall quite happy. The pros; a very scenic course where you feel like you are in the Poconos. There are 3 holes in the middle of a neighborhood, other than that you are in the middle of the woods. In fact before you get to the first hole you need to ride about 5 minutes through hilly forests. It's pretty amazing this is lower bucks county which is pretty built up. It was well groomed with nice fairways and massive greens. I found it challenging in that there is not much room for error. Ponds, the Neshaminy Creek, vegatation are all things you need to navigate over. We did not stop in for a drink at the club house but it seemed nice. Equipped with a bar, television and pool table I am sorry we did not stay to check out what else it had to offer. The cons; the website tends to lead you to believe that you could play 18 especially when you look at the scorecard, but it's really 1-9 repeated. It's only 9 holes, which is fine but they charge you for a full 18, and tell you it's unlimited golf. There are two pins on each green in case you go around twice you have different holes to go to. So for what is a ultimately a 9 hole course it is a bit pricey. $36 for 9 holes at twilight. Also there were no maps at the beginning of each hole, so for a first timer on the course you feel like you are swinging blindly. Would still come back regardless of the price, but I think there are other places to go for 9 holes that are less expensive. read more

Greens are in terrible condition. I played four other area courses this spring where the greens were in excellent condition. I realize they are putting money into the courses drainage but until they get the greens in decent condition this course isn't worth more than $15 for 9 holes and twenty-five for 18. read more

I played Heritage Creek Golf Course today and I could not disagree with the other reviewer more.If you are an average weekend golfer who does not have the option of a private golf club, then this course is a good fit. The golf course is kept in good shape, the greens run true. The undulating greens and course layout presents a moderate challenge. It is currently a nine hole course with two pin placements at each hole if you play 18. The first half of the course runs through a wooded area that presents wonderful views and sight lines. The second half runs though a housing development. Over the next 2 years the second 9 hole will be created. It is better than most municipal courses in the area and not as crowded as local privately owned public courses. Well worth a try. read more

Played yesterday. Joe, the guy at the counter, was very nice and easy to deal with. It is no secret that the course is playing 9 holes twice. If you don't understand this, try reading up on the courses you visit beforehand. The course was in pretty good shape. ( reminder to players to repair your divits and ball marks ) My issues with the course was not knowing where I was aiming on the 1st tee. But that was my fault for not listening to the starter. He tried to tell me. Biggest gripe would be there is no ranger to talk to about slow play. We flew through the front 9 only to be held up by a couple that would not let you play through. I have no problem with newbies, after all ,we were all new once. But take your girlfriend to the range to teach her how to play or be considerate and allow people to go past you. The only other thing that bugged me was the carts are turned down and slow. It is a long ride from the pro shop to the first tee and back at the end of the round. But, I'm sure things would be different if the course was finished as originally planned. Overall experience was okay. Nice course, good conditions, friendly staff. $52 a round is too high, but you can get deals on sites to offset that. Would I go back? Yes, in a heartbeat. read more

Took my son on his 12th birthday for his first round of golf here last week. VERY IMPRESSED!!! The 9 holes are challenging, with narrow fairways and bunkers everywhere. But even for a first timer, he truly enjoyed the course. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gave us a breakdown of the course and what to be aware of before we left the clubhouse. With Pitch & Putt costing upwards of $15, paying $15-$20 for 9 real holes with a cart is a bargain!!! read more

Course is challenging compared to other nine hole courses in the area. Nice that the course splits from woods to a link style open course. It is a little pricey for what it is though. We used a fourth of July special and played 18 for $30 but regular price is $49. For that price better off looking elsewhere in the area. It is also like a 10 minute cart ride to the first tee since half the course isn't built yet. I however would play again as it is fun for a novice golfer like myself. read more

I played this course because of the reviews I read and the comments that I heard. Plus the fact that I bought a summer golf pass that this course was included on. But after I played 9 holes, I wondered if I was playing the same course that i heard about. While the guy at the sparsely decorated or stocked pro shop was helpful and overall a nice guy, the real issue was with the course itself and the pace of play. Besides having no clue as to where to hit a tee shot on the majority of the holes, the condition of the course was deplorable. This I noticed is in part due to the people who play this course. I tried to fix at least 4-5 ball marks on EVERY green. (as I certainly had the time) I could have been there far longer as it seems that nobody does this little bit of personal upkeep. The greens overall were fairly true, at least the parts that weren't practically bare dirt. The tee boxes along with large portions of most fairways were in just as bad shape. I don't know whether they do or they don't, but it seems as if there isn't an irrigation system. The layout is kinda quirky, but interesting enough that with the complete 18 open, this tract might offer a pretty decent test of golf, if the condition improves. The conditions remind me of the Phila public courses that nobody cares about. (all but Cobbs Creek) Teach the players to replace divots, fix ball marks and restrict to a better degree where carts go, and with some better course conditions, this wouldn't be so bad....That is until you get to experience the groups that are playing ahead of you. I paid for 18, but left after 9. Not so much because of the condition, but i was at the 3 hour mark by then. Maybe it was because it was a Monday, or that they had a super senior deal that encouraged you to bring your non golfing spouse and let them try it for the first time. For a course that measured lees than 3000 yards from the tips (9 holes) 3 hours was excruciating. Now, taking into account that I was a single, I expected to play at a pace far slower than i wanted, but I was not prepared for this death march. Now the father with his two small kids gladly let me play through, but the courtesy stopped there. Not one of the "golfers" ahead of me even breathed a hint of letting me play through, although it was two groups deep at a few of the tee boxes. Looked me right in the eye and turned and continued to top their next 5-6-7 shots happily down the "ahem" fairway. God bless all golfers who can still get out and play....(at a pace that is acceptable to everyone on the course) I decided that after the aforementioned 3 hours of bliss, and the fact when I made the turn for the second 9 that there was a group of young guys, playing the blues, that had no business on those tees, hitting their balls into the woods, and the 3 foursomes and 2 twosomes (all super senior husbands and wives I'm guessing) just sitting and waiting to play more, I couldn't go on any longer as not one of them remotely offered me to play through. If your looking for a leisurely "DAY" of golf on a interesting blind hole layout (even GPS hasn't listed this course) and you don't mind poor course conditions, by all means, get a tee time. And this is from someone who shot a 35 on the 9 that i played. Trust me, I tried to think of any reason to come back here again! read more

This is a 9 hole course with 2 pin placements at each hole for a round of 18. I was first concerned that the course would be dull, given that you will play the same holes twice for a round of 18. I was surprised by the layout of the course. Each hole provides a moderate challenge from tee to green. The greens are large and undulate, so with two pins at each hole you will not find that you are playing the same shot or putt on the back nine. A very nice course that will be even better once it expands to a full 18 holes. I would recommend this course over many of the local municipal courses. read more

Very nice fairways with very short but thick grass like you would find at a higher priced country club. Sand traps have plenty of sand like they are supposed to. The only "public" feel were the tee boxes, some of which were burnt out a bit, and the grass surrounding the sand traps was fairly wild - a bit beyond normal rough. Greens were nice and fast and undulating. The best part is the hilly mile ride through the woods to the first tee. You feel like you are way out in the wilderness and then come out of the woods and arrive at a secret golf oasis. I think they should leave it a 9 hole course as it has charm and uniqueness going for it now that no other course in the area can match. Well done and hidden...Oh yeah, if you play after 1 PM its very affordable and on your birthday you get free green fees but have to pay for the cart. I'll be back! read more

The worst course I have ever played. No amenities in clubhouse (not really a clubhouse - more like a shack with an unpacked parking lot). No starter or marshall to keep play moving. Very slow. Poorly maintained cart paths at times dangerous. Tee boxes poorly maintained. Fairways are missing grass/bare in many spots. Greens are worse than fairways - bare spots and fresh/unrepaired ballmarks everywhere. Don't play at Heritage Creek!!! Course is horrible. Shouldn't be called a golf course. read more

This course has crashed itself into the ground, they were such a promising 6 hole course on the up swing and just half assed everything. The 3 holes that had such a big to do were such a let down, they have it set up horribly. I played one Sunday with 3 buddies and the ranger was playing behind us (we paid twilight for 4pm exactly, got there at 3:40, didn't tee off till 4:25 because it took the guy in the club house 20 minutes to take 4 cash payments and it took 10 minutes to get to the tee and the ranger talked out ear off for another 15 minutes) so the ranger hits into us as we are getting off the 2nd par 3, I dove behind the back of our cart and his ball hit the bag I was up against) then he drove up afterwards, did not apologize and TOLD us he was playing with us now cause he had to "clear the course" So he shanks a few shots and our group just kept playing and left him in the dust. We are on the 16th hole at 7:40pm (sunset at 8:15) and he tells us we need to pick up, go to 18 and play in because they close at 8 (they never told us that at the clubhouse). Then he proceeded to lecture us about our pace of play ( we play at a solid 3.5 hr pace when we don't have D-bag rangers bombing into us) and that we should schedule earlier next time. Overall, the experience with the ranger really got my blood boiling and I will never go back there unless it is to throw my "loyalty card" right into that *&#$ers face. I've never had such horrible service and im really laid back and understanding about poor service. Please, if you have money, buy that course and save bucks county. Thank you!! read more
