Dr. Marlet is always so comforting as scared as I always am his demeanor always put me at ease . My visit yesterday was great Dr marlet made sure to addressed me possibly having a lingering sinus infection that could be why my tooth was hurting and instead of jumping into doing something to my tooth he wrote me prescriptions to hopefully take care of my infection. That's what makes him a great dentist! I cannot recommend him enough. His assistant Lisa was so nice she put me at ease as well . Everyone at his office are very pleasent to work with . read more

Found Dr. Potter through my insurance. This Dental office is a well oiled machine. Every front office employee I've encountered is kind and courteous. I had to get my wisdom teeth removed and was incredibly nervous as they don't sedate just shots. I was also worried that I would encounter the same issue I've had with dental practices in the past, incorrect billing. Dental work can be very expensive but guess what folks! You only have one mouth and one set of adult teeth. So if you don't want to pay an arm and a leg, keep your DENTAL HYGIENE ON POINT! The billing was clear, no guessing and in black and white. While I am not thrilled about the pain, discomfort and all around inconvenience of having extractions, Dr. Potter spent less time actually doing the procedure than he did making sure I was comfortably numb. I used to come to heritage dental when I was younger-almost 6 years ago! I decided now as an adult I would give them a try and I'm glad I did! The staff was so friendly and I laughed the entire time with the dental assistant (Daniella). The craziest part was when I saw Grace And I asked her if she remembered my mom- and she did! Going to my braces appointment, they ask me to wear a mask. However, I don't have my own mask since they never told me I need to have mask on before I come to my appointment. I asked if they can provide me one but they told me they don't have any mask and ask me to leave and wait outside! After I refuse waiting outside and state I'm fully vaccines and I don't mind wearing mask I just don't had one on hand and if they can offer me one. They give me very very bad attitude and they said they can give me mask but I need to pay for it! I mean I am a regular patient and I love my doctor, however, the experience today is insane! I had a terrible first time experience! The dental assistant who greeted me thought I was the perfect candidate to train a new hire literally the whole training was happening right in front of me; going over how to take my pressure, the system, data entry, the dos and don'ts. It was very unprofessional how about do the training aside not with the actual patient present. I couldn't stand for it so I had to say something. Also there is a flat screen right in front of the patients chair where you are able to see all of the different patients on schedule and other info right on display for anyone to see not respecting a patient's privacy act/HIPPA and saw this window several times throughout my Appt with other patients info on display. According to the dentist I had all sorts of cavities and kept pressuring me to have two crowns done right there and then, wouldn't drop it even after I assured him that I didn't want to get it done went on and on about it that later on I'm going to need a root canal then sent his assistant to give me the breakdown of costs if I moved forward with the procedure. He wanted to charge me $1000 out of pocket when my ins. Covers 80% it should have only been $400. I went in for one tooth ache and walked out with all my teeth sore. A week later my teeth still hurt I can't even bite on a chip without it hurting and feeling very uncomfortable. I've had cavity filling done before and never have I experienced so much pain after. I received a call from Rosa to confirm an Appt I informed her that I will not be back and asked for a refund for a fluoride fee when I never had teeth cleaning done. She sat there and argued with me claiming that I wasn't charged for it when I have the breakdown of fees and receipt confirmation. She denied it all and refused the reimbursement. I have really enjoyed this dentist. I first became a patient 9 years ago to have crown work done on my two front teeth. For years, I received so many compliments on how nice and natural they looked. I moved out of state and hadn't returned. 9 years later those crowns needed to be replaced (to be expected every 10 years or so). I happened to be living back in the area and I made sure to call to see if Dr. Marlette we're still in practice. To my delight, he was! I had my crowns replaced and they look beautiful. I recently had a tooth filled that I had no prior issues with start hurting only after Dr. Potter performed a filling on it. After continued pain and going back three times it only led for him to redo the filling once again only to continue with additional sensitivity and pain. I received a second opinion from another local dentist only to let me know that more than likely Dr. Potter probably allowed my tooth to overheat potentially causing tissue or nerve damage! At this point the other dentist let me know I will more than likely need a root canal and crown! Heritage Dental office is more interested in quantity of patients at a fast pace, rather than quality of service and patient care. After receiving a call to check in on me and my appointment for that day I let them know about my experience they said they would have the doctor call me for a referral. No call yet just continued poor service! read more

Bad costumer service. Constant issues with making appt. Multiple failed attempts at submitting insurance claims. Employees always getting replaced which shows in lack of continuity in work space proficiency. And dental work itself is 3 stars at best. Beware not to get more work than really need. read more

I visited this office twice for various dental procedures about 11 months ago.I had a wisdom tooth pulled first. It wasn't pleasant and hurt on and off for a while afterwards but wasn't really a big deal. I had several fillings done a week later and oh my God, it hurt so bad! At first it was fine but towards the end of the procedure (last 15-20 minutes) whatever they were doing hurt so much that every muscle in my back, shoulders, arms, hands, and chest were shaking so bad I was pretty much vibrating. I will never go back to this dental office. Yes they gave me lots of shots in my gum line for pain before starting and they waited to let it start working. 6 hours later and my face was still swollen and mostly numb but the spots they worked on still hurt badly. For 2 weeks after the procedure I experienced intense pain in my mouth, it got so bad that I took left over pain medication from a back surgery I had undergone previously. I think whatever they used to spread my teeth apart for the composite fillings was the thing that hurt so bad though I'm not sure since I couldn't see it. I felt sure my teeth were going to shatter from the pressure of being separated like that. What makes all of this even worse was that during the whole procedure the Dentist was talking to other staff members about how he couldn't wait to go home that evening because he had big plans for the weekend. I was the last patient that Friday. I can't help but think that he messed up my teeth because he wanted to hurry to start his weekend plans early, without any thought to the fact that he was working on a living person who could feel the pain he was causing. They asked if I was OK towards the beginning but towards the end, when it really started hurting no one checked to see if I was OK. I kept thinking "how can they not tell how bad this is hurting given that I am shaking so bad from the pain that I'm vibrating" but no one asked and he certainly didn't try to make it hurt less. All he wanted was to go home for the weekend. My face and mouth were swollen almost till bedtime that night, the pain persisted at a high level for 2 weeks, and to top it all off, 6 months later the filling that had hurt the most to have done simply fell out and now I have a hole in my tooth. I've waited a long time to have the filling repaired because after what I went through I have been scared to go back to the dentist but I will finally be going to a new dental office to have this fixed in about 3 days. My advice is to either not go to this office or go early in the morning, and never on a Friday. In 32 years this was by far the worst dental experience I have ever had. I was told getting fillings shouldn't hurt. I even watched YouTube videos afterwards to find out if the level of pain I went through was normal and apparently it isn't normal at all. For me, it was terribly painful and the dentist at this office seemed to give much more importance to going home to have fun than the living person he was working on, he didn't seem to care at all. In fact, he was so caught up talking about his plans that I don't think he even noticed and I wasn't exactly in a position where I could speak up. I was also confused and thinking maybe it always hurts this bad, surely if this wasn't normal they would stop since I'm shaking in pain and sweating like crazy... Those things are pretty hard to miss... but they didn't stop at all, and it hurt so badly. It wasn't until later, when I started asking other people and looking it up online etc that I discovered getting fillings shouldn't have hurt that bad, that the procedures I had done normally don't cause much pain at all. Had I known that I would have tried to do something to get their attention, to make him pay attention to what he was doing and make sure he did it right, without hurting me so badly. read more

So this was my awesome visit: I walked in to a clean and extremely friendly office, then Sam greeted me with a smile and helped me get history over from a previous office. After filling out paperwork conveniently on an iPad, Valerie assisted me to the back and performed my X-rays. She was quick, gentle, and above all, personable! And to top it all off, my consult with Dr. Potter was very impressive. I needed my top wisdom teeth extracted and he performed the extraction (to my surprise) same day! I was so nervous but I knew he was an excellent Doctor. Needless to say it took longer to get me numb than it did for him to pop my teeth out. I am so pleased with my entire experience and would recommend this office to anyone! I'm here to stay, that's for sure! read more

From the time that I was greeted by Sam's ( the receptionist) amazing and positive energy; to Carmen's ( the assistant) awesome attitude and professionalism; to the Dr's great advice and with having the patience with me to conquer my fear of dentists; and finally to Rose's great consultation, friendliness, and problem solving skills with finding a way for me to make this experience not only outstanding, but affordable.
