I had been wanting to stop by Heritage Donuts for a while now and finally got the chance this morning! I got there around 10:15 AM and they still had a great selection to choose from. Originally I was just going to grab one donut to practice a little self control however there was a $5 min on card usage and the Girl Scouts had already taken my cash I've only had the Apple Fritter but it was huge and delicious! The cream / jelly filled ones they actually fill right there by the counter which I hadn't seen before. I wish I had gotten a picture of this but was too busy talking with the workers about what song was playing through the sound system. I thought the prices were super reasonable and will definitely be back to try more!

Service was great even though there was a bit of a line when we first arrived. The donuts are massive and very filling, though it's tempting to get a dozen- really only get that many if you have 4+ people planning to eat them over a couple days. The apple fritter was thoroughly iced and it was a bit too much. I did enjoy the blueberry donut and the strawberry iced donut.

so good oh my God I can't wait to go back. Super cheap donuts were beyond delicious. I dream about them often!!!!!

Donuts are large, fresh and delicious!! Fillings for filled donuts include strawberry, grape, Bavarian creme and others, with "extra filling" as a 75¢ option. Go early, as they sell out some days.

TLDR: Delicious, large donuts for a reasonable price! Wow, I was impressed by the size, taste, and price of Heritage donuts. I stopped by on a weekday morning for a couple donuts. I was greeted by friendly, efficient employees. The display case was full so it was difficult to choose a flavor. I decided on a s'mores donut and Oreo donut. Both were well balanced and cooked perfectly. They had great flavor and were not overbearingly sweet. The texture was excellent and the size is ideal for sharing. The donuts are so large I ended up needing a knife and fork to eat them without making a mess. Only suggestion I have is that they melt the marshmallow more. It was barely toasted so it tasted great but needed to be consumed separately from the rest of the donut. Overall, I had a positive experience here and recommend this donut shop to others!

Donuts are huuuuuge! And so delicious. Grabbed 4 dozen for our staff to enjoy and they all loved them and kept commenting on how big they were.

Deeeeeeeelicious donuts at this new-ish spot in Wake Forest. It's a small shop in a strip center next to Publix. In this Sunday morning there were 3 people behind the counter and 8 in line. It's a busy place! Service is friendly. I was helped to decide which ones to pick. Bonus is that they fill while-you-watch glazed or frosted round donuts with your choice of 3 flavors of jelly, vanilla or chocolate or cream. Donuts are enormous. Everything is fresh, moist and sweet. My favorite is strawberry jelly filled and this is among the best I've ever had. Pro tip - go early for the best selection. They bake what they bake and when they're gone they're gone. Till tomorrow.

In the south, we don't play when it comes to donuts. There's a ton of options within the triangle. But I do have yo say that these are some of the best. Staff is super friendly. There's usually a line on the weekend so if you're free during the week, that's probably when I would go. The donuts are huge. Selections vary from your typical glazed, old fashioned, chocolate frosted, to a variety of cake donuts, specialty donuts like cinnamon rolls, Apple fritters and then they have donuts you can choose your filling with Bavarian cream, vanilla and chocolate icing, raspberry, lemon or strawberry filling. There's also some cool ones in the case like s'mores, fruity pebbles, coconut, crumb cake, peanut, and maple bacon. So many options to choose from. They have a case of drinks, coffee and more along with a handful of tables if you want to eat there! These are worth every single calorie!!!!

Heritage Donuts is a new donut shop in the Publix shopping center. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The donuts are sold individually or by half dozen or dozen at various price points. They have simpler donuts such as glazed or cinnamon sugar and others that come topped with oreos; coconut; peanuts; and a few other options; then bigger donuts like cinnamon twists and apple fritters. Some of the donuts can be filled with a choice of filling. The donuts are much larger than other donut shops. I went with the glazed; chocolate iced; cinnamon sugar; Bavarian cream filled chocolate iced; and chocolate cake. The donuts are delicious. The packaging needs some changes though as the donuts aren't flat in the box but on their sides so the icing from one goes onto the others.

We stopped by to see what you were raving about. I like donuts, but I prefer cupcakes. I went there with my heart set on glazed with chocolate on top. Unfortunately, they had limited flavors available when we got there. Boooooo!!! So, I ended up getting glazed donut holes. They were ok. Weren't fresh fresh but weren't stale either. They just weren't what I wanted. The employees didn't greet us upon entering & there were 3-4 of them working with only 1 customer ahead of us, so I was a little annoyed at first. I got over it though because my son enjoyed his donut and it brought a smile to his face. The shop is located in a busy shopping center, so please be careful when coming here. People speed around the corner & it's easy to get hit or have your car damaged. I will definitely go back earlier in the day next time. Hopefully then, I can get the flavor I truly wanted.

Ok, January has been the month of no sugar, no carbs, no alcohol, no starch and no Doritos!!!! Well, on Friday, some well intentioned co-worker decided to bring in a box of some of the best donuts you will find in the Triangle. Fabulous!! I did not partake!! So, my review is on the past samplings I have had from this donut shop, which is situated in the Publix shopping center on Rogers Road. To simply put it, they're awesome. The owner is nice and the staff is friendly. They offer a wide selection of flavors and rotate them on a regular basis. What gets me about these is that they are not heavy. The donuts are sizable but don't fill you up or, sit heavily in the stomach all day. Which is a good thing for the "old timer" like me. Definitely pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed.

The donuts looked great on display when you walk in, but unfortunately my experience with the service was disappointing. I ordered a crème brûlée donut and noticed one had a visible finger imprint, as though it had been picked up and put back. There were several other fresh donuts available, so I was surprised it wasn't replaced with a better looking donut. The display case was quite full despite it being later in the day, which made the situation even more frustrating. We ordered a glazed donut, crème brûlée donut, and a Dubai chocolate donut. Unfortunately, none of the donuts lived up to expectations. All three were served cold, the crème brûlée tasted less than fresh and the Dubai chocolate was noticeably dry. I also felt like the Dubai chocolate was overpriced at $7 given the quality. Overall I left disappointed. While the donuts look appealing, the service and quality didn't match the hype, and I don't see myself returning.

I decided to go with a cupcake variety. You don't get to pick what kinds you want. It's whatever they are baking that week, which worked fine. Half a dozen cupcakes are around $20, so I got four of them for $80, which was the right amount for 18 people, with leftovers. Do note that the website calls them "party size". I didn't know what that meant, so I called. It means regular size, which was a good thing at that price LOL. I was glad party size wasn't mini ones. Loved that I was able to order them via their website in advance. They were nicely boxed and ready for me when I arrived Saturday morning to pick them up. Easy breezy. And they were a hit unlike previous vegan cakes I've bought in the past from other places. I asked them to remind me what flavors they were and she suggested I take pics so I could let our guests know. So the attached pics show the yummy flavors.
