Unfortunately I had a lot of issues with this company since I originally purchased my garage door. With so many other garage door companies out there, I would choose someone else. 1. The door with installation was very expensive. I paid $10,000 and waited 6 months to receive the door and have them install it. 2. The door came out damaged and had to be reinstalled. 3. The cable that retracts the door came off the spindle shortly after the install. I call to get it repaired and they charged me $300 for 15 minutes of work to fix it which I thought would be covered under warrantee. 4. The last straw...... The windows that were installed from the factory leak when it rains and so does both sides of the opening at the weather stripping. The windows need to be removed and reinstalled with a new gasket/sealant. The weather stripping is installed with brad nails and no sealant and in a configuration that is not the same as all other garage door openings at my neighbor's homes. The brad nails are not holding allowing the weather stripping to separate from the door jam creating a gap for rain water to seep in. Both issues are a simple fix in my opinion. They came out two times to address it but didn't do any work. The first time, the guy came out and measured the glass windows and looked at the weather striping. He said he would order new glass and said the weather stripping was installed properly. I disagreed by showing him the gaps and stated the stripping should simply be removed and reinstalled with sealant and screws. I also explained that the glass doesn't need replacement. It needed to be removed and reinstalled with new gaskets/Sealant. He said he would report the office and let them decide. I waited 2 months for new glass. The second time, same guy came back with the glass. I reviewed both conditions. This time he agreed with me that the glass didn't need to be replaced, we agreed the original glass could simply be removed and resealed. Same with the weather-stripping. Even though we agreed on what needed to be done. He said he didn't have the materials to do so. He said he would report this to the office and they would reschedule. He insisted on leaving the new glass even thought we both knew it is not needed. After all this, Heritage refused to fix their poorly done installations and the door still leaks rain water. They claim the weather stripping is not designed to keep rain water from coming in the garage and that garages are not designed to be weather tight. What a load of BS!! read more

Greg (the owner) is awesome and very prompt when communicating. Mark was our initial tech who came out to meet us- he was so cool and informative. He arrived on time and equipped to show us the different garage door/opener options. We decided to go with the CHI flush panels in dark brown and upgraded lift master opener. Our installer came yesterday, arrived early and was very professional + friendly. Our new garage door looks AMAAAZZZING. It is super quiet when we open/close it. A couple of neighbors even stopped during their walks to ask us questions about the doors and complimented on how great they look. We referred them to heritage so hopefully they get in touch. Doug Derr was the service tech who came out to my house. He installed new sensors, as asked. He also sprayed lubricant on the different pivot areas of the door and wheels to help decrease the noise, as a courtesy. He even stappled wires that were hanging. He reccomended some new wheels and to tighten the tension spring. I said no to the wheels, but had the spring tensioned. Overall, I was really happy for the service. He went above and beyond. There is a service fee for coming over, but that was thrown into the price of any work performed. read more

We used Heritage garage door for installation of our new garage door. But within two months door started making noises and when we called them to get it checked they send the person who did not at all respected either me and my property. After reaching out to them again they sent someone else to fix the issue and it got better. Then one month later again it was the same issue and they sent someone to fix it. Before this trip when I called Greg to see how he wants to take care the one year warranty as labor was part it and it's continued issue right after 2months of installation,he assured me over the phone that he will extend the warranty for year if this appointment will have the same issue. And it was the same labor issue which they're not able to fix . Now when I called Greg to extend the warranty he clearly denied it and offered to buy instead of extending the warranty that come with new installation. When I reminded him and insisted him to extend the original warranty he denied rudely and hung up the phone on me. And that door still needs adjustments but they are not taking calls or replying to my emails. It s not even 6 month and this is how they taking care of their customers I would NOT RECOMMEND a this company AT ALL. read more

The fellow that was dispatched knew his stuff and got the door repaired and new springs installed very quickly. I was a bit surprised that the labor charge was quite do high as the fellow wasn't hear much more than an hour. I would definitely call them again, but hopefully I wont need to. read more

I even still had the receipt and showed it to Chase Chase showed us that our garage door was still in good condition and a small fix will extend the door's life for several more years! I was having a problem with my garage door opener. The motor was fine; however, none of the remotes would open the garage door unless you were inside of the garage or standing on the outside right in front of the garage door. The range for well over 6 months kept getting shorter and shorter. Heritage tried several things; even changing out the "logic board". Nothing worked. Finally, I was done with the aggravation and opted to purchase a new "side-mounted" garage door opener. Long story short, there is Joy in Mudville again. The scheduled an appointment for the next day with a 2 hour time window. They texted me when the Eric was on his way with an estimated arrival time and I could follow him on google maps. That turn out to be right in the middle of the time frame(Yea). Eric had the replacement springs on his truck and in a very professional manner made the repair within 2 hours.
