If you're looking for a great, affordable place to take lessons or send your kids to camp, this is definitely the place. It's not super hoity-toity which means you Antji (the owner) is extremely sweet, and you get a real horseback riding experience! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and a pure joy to work with.

Had a great day here! Passionate instructors that are safety minded. Angie even called to advise they were running 15 min late for my group which I thought was extremely courteous. Riding is a great way to spend the day outdoors. Horses are beautiful creatures meant to be respected. Go get a lesson or a trail ride. First time to ride, no problem! Get up from the tv and video games and go play outside!

Update time!!!!! A…read morefew years after hosting a birthday party here, we decided to enroll our child in their weekly classes, and it has been a wonderful experience ever since. One of the biggest draws for our family is the variety of offerings, especially the weekday homeschool classes, day camps, and parent night out events. Since the change in ownership, I couldn't be more pleased with the direction of the program under Mrs. Chris. My son genuinely looks forward to each class and continues to grow stronger and more confident every week. Mrs. Chris and her staff are incredibly skilled with children and provide exceptional coaching in a positive, encouraging environment. I truly appreciate the thoughtful structure of the program, from the engaging exercises and skill development to the excellent communication and organization for parents. The skills tracker is a fantastic tool that keeps parents informed while allowing the kids to celebrate their progress, and the app makes everything even more convenient. The pricing is very fair, and we couldn't be happier with our experience.

Very easy to find (off the highway) but passing a cemetery on the way on Halloween weekend was a little funny/creepy. A Family friendly atmosphere~ Very reasonable prices. Kids go for free and once you pay for your course, oh and you can go again to the same level for free! Who does that? this speaks volumes of the instructors. They genuinely want you to learn and practice your survival skills. Oh I can't give enough positive reviews about the Instructors.... all three (Ray, Chris & Eric) followed the "I do, We do, You do" training keys.... each are aware of the participants purpose/ goal of each activity....demonstration of the skill and then complete a guided practice of the skill. We practiced building a fire, building a shelter, tying knots, using a compass to navigate, and critical first aid... Instructors interacted with each participant, giving immediate feedback and additional help when needed. However pacing of the activities was appropriate. It is a lot to take in. Yes I know camping but being able to advance my skills in a basic class was amazing and can't wait to use my skills on my own. Each Instructors is extremely knowledgeable, down-to-earth, patient, and funny! They are passionate about what they are doing & want you to ask questions You can easily recognize the effective teaching strategies that were implemented so naturally to these instructors. Overall, excellent experience. Can't wait to do this again.

For the first hour, Nico worked with both boys individually to ensure they learned their equipment, basic techniques, and ensured they had a great time doing it. We visited the aqua park at Hydrous in Allen, and it was not the greatest experience. One of the…read moreattached transition pieces was not connected properly, so a kid fell in between the two units. The flaps covered his head and he was not visible. Myself and another participant tried pulling him up, but his life jacket was caught underneath the two units, holding him under the water. His mouth was submerged. It was chaotic and scary. Unfortunately, the "lifeguards" (employees) were on their phones. It's kind of hard to rescue someone, when you're engrossed in Instagram or Snapchat. Had we not been there to see him fall in between the units, we would not have been able to locate him, and he could've drowned. The employee's response was that the waiver states you must be a strong swimmer to play. However, it's kind of difficult to swim while wedged in between/under the inflatables. I spoke with the manager on duty, and he said that they know that the piece is broken and has been for a long time; also, that it's very expensive to fix, and it takes some time to order it to get it from Germany. Something even more pricy would be a lawsuit from a family whose child drowned because of the same reason. I suggested at least duct taping the two pieces together, so it will not happen to somebody else. It is extremely unsafe. In addition to a kid almost drowning, the inflatable structures were scorching hot. All of the participants got burned. More than one sprinkler (which hardly even reached any of the units) would be better to keep the inflatables cool. We found a bowl on the bank and used that to pour water on inflatables for cooling. Not ideal. So, F- for the aqua park. Avoid.

The teachers are super helpful with techniques of transition like bottles to cups, pacifier weening, eating solids, trying new foods, potty training, riding a tricycle, etc. Drop-offs are a breeze, my son looks forward to seeing his friends and teachers each day (if they are on vacation he totally welcomes the change with ease bc all of the teachers are fantastic and he is familiar with all of them) Pickups are also joyful, the excitement to see me and joy to end the day by giving hugs and sharing goodbyes around the classroom and through out the hallways fills my heart! During COVID their mask mandate, dropoff/pickup routine and cleaning protocols kept our minds at complete ease (for our little guy health and a member in our household personal health concerns during unprecedented times). Kiddie Academy of Stonebridge-McKinney is a great school for my family.
