We interviewed most of the big name remodeling companies in the area but we were uncomfortable with the either the cost or the job supervision process. In CHW we found a boutique firm whose co-owners, Bill Maibach and Dave Walker, had over 20 years of experience and are with you from design to finish. They are a can do team and, but for a few items, did the complete "to the studs" remodel themselves. Having the owners on site actually doing the work is both highly unusual and very beneficial in making sure the remodel is being executed to plan. They were a pleasure to work with. We found them responsive and professional while delivering a very high quality finished project. I couldn't recommend more highly.

They brought the lights, timer and fasteners; arrived when they said they would; and are clearly not afraid of heights. My house looks like a Christmas miracle and it was well worth the price - especially considering how high they had to climb. I was so impressed with these guys! They will take the lights down for us in January, too. Although I love the way they look so much, I can't imagine ever wanting to take them down! I'll be sad to see them go. Quoted price was half of my year-round landscaping company (January removal included.) Called Monday 12/5 and lights were up by Friday 12/9. The contract stated $50 charge for filing a credit card dispute - but I crossed that line out. So far, so good - will update! On Jan 2nd a small section burned out, because it was after the holidays I didn't ask for a repair. Lights were taken down after Jan 4th. As stated above I refused the credit card dispute line but they were willing to do business anyway. Reasonably priced company, did a good job putting up and taking down.

The room looks so bright and clean now, the new fixtures work beautifully, and cleaning takes almost no time at all. Plus, we now have stylish grab bars, a non-slip shower pan, and a larger drain that won't get clogged with hair. Michelle suggested removing some wall tile to extend the new Onyx wall slabs in the shower enclosure to the door molding, and we are really pleased with the result. The 3-person installation crew, led by Kevin, got the whole job -- including replacing two toilets -- done in 8 hours. They showed up on time, were very pleasant, and they cleaned up after themselves. There were a few minor issues after the job was done, and Michelle sent Matt over. He made everything perfect, and he was just as nice as the rest of the crew. Columbus Bath Design gave us a fair price. They are one of the best contractors we've had in the 24 years we've lived in this old house.

The took all the time I needed in the show room with lots of professional suggestions that I wouldn't even think about since I'm not in that business. There were ton's of scenarios to choose from and even more counter and vanity samples. As for the actual work on the job, CBD had some of the most able and professional craftsmen that I've run across. These guys were on time, worked diligently, contained demo dust and debris very well and took a lot of pride in how they installed the new product. That last part was very important to me. Not one of them treated the remodel like it was mine....It was more like they were doing the work in their own homes. It was flawless. During the project, they asked me my preference as to locations of towel and TP bars and soap caddies in the shower and bath and the direction of the floor being laid.
