The best part was the water slides! It'd been a while since I'd been on a water slide and man, these were fun! I had no idea this place was as cool as it is. Plenty of lifeguards around as well and they were keeping a great eye on all the kids. There are a lot of picnic tables, lounge chairs and even a good amount of shade available. Some people were bringing in EZ-Ups, but I don't know if that's always allowed. The restrooms were also very well maintained. I'd definitely come here again!

I had no idea…read morewhat to expect because you can read all the reviews you want, but you just don't know what to expect until the first swim lesson. She came on time and went straight to it. We had discussed my four-year-old son's previous swim lessons and to make an assessment on where/what level he was at. Second lesson into it, and he could already swim half the pool on his own. Nothing makes me happier because of safety issues of having a pool in my house. Knowing he has the confidence to safely get out of the pool on his own was already a success! Coach Sandra is nothing short of spectacular because she changed all that. She took a 12 lesson course and it didn't take more than 3 lessons for her to be fearless and swim! Coach Sandra is calm and patient with both our girls and took the time to get them acclimated with each new skill learned. We never thought we'd see her swim, and this would not have been possible without her lessons! Highly recommended and I can't recommend Coach Sandra enough!

I received 2…read moreemails welcoming me to their gym, and both would not activate to complete my registration and ID for admittance. Furthermore, the onIine registration was dysfunctional and could not recognize me no matter how hard I tried. The solution seemed simple so I called the gym and the assistant manager could not make the database function to accept me and stated the manager was on the telephone and would call me later. Later never came and 45 minutes later I drove to the gym to cancel my membership. The manager was still on the telephone and could not be bothered. The assistant was able to do what nobody else could do in less than 1 minute by effecting the cancellation. The next stop was Rancho Cucamonga LA Fitness where I was cordially received at the front desk by Brendan and Katherine who were the epitome of accommodating service, speed, and combined cordial attitudes that lightened my earlier unsolved frustration. Within 10 minutes the process of joining the gym was complete, and their smiling faces and great attitudes as I departed left me with one simple thought, "LA FITNESS IS THE PINNACLE OF ACCOMMODATING THOSE WHO WISH TO BE WELL RECEIVED. THANK YOU BRENDAN, AND ESPECIALLY KATHERINE FOR A JOB WELL DONE."

I told him on the way out see you tomorrow since I had a 3 day pass and this is the proof in my email. Yearly price was around 550$ which is significantly more than 24 but it's a nice gym, he stated before the pass was over there's a deal that's 400+ a year with no annual fee. I walked in right now and he refused to allow me entry saying he couldn't give me a 3 day pass, he allowed me to go in after I showed him this, Brendan just stated to me that he said "see you tomorrow" as he thought I was gonna sign up which I never committed too before finishing the three days pass. All in all it's a very nice gym, and I understand he wants his commission, but how many people has he turned away with a 3 day pass? If you look thru the comments I see other comments that say he's turned them away from the their 3 day pass as well, which sadly he's making it look like LA Fitness is false advertising on their website that you can get a 3 day try out, but he's turning people away. In my years of training Muay Thai in different Dojos, and then going to different gyms in the years from LA, to 24, to Chuze I gotta say Brendan seems to be the worse example representing a brand in gym leadership. Honestly seems like he wants to strong arm you to sign up or leave right then and there.

Their prices are very reasonable even if you are not a member but becoming a member is very inexpensive and totally worth it. My son enjoyed the summer day camp so much. It had great programs everyday that kept him so busy and they even gave him the courage to jump into the 4 feet at the pool and learn how to swim even better than he was before coming. When they had to discipline him, they were fair about it and respectful. I appreciated that very much especially since my son loves to get in trouble. ___ The gym aspect of the Highland YMCA is great too. Their Zumba classes are jam packed but so fun. The trainer kept the class moving and exciting. The schedule is full of group classes that I look forward to trying. They are going on all day and all night which is great for working people. Always friendly front desk staff that are ready to go above and beyond helping their guests!!!! I do love the Redlands Facility way more but living closer to the Highland one, I have grown to love them too.

I was incorrectly charged full price for my son's sports class even though I qualified for a 50% financial assistance scholarship. I wasn't upset about the mistake I simply asked for a credit instead of a refund. I was repeatedly told the issue would be resolved, but after nearly three weeks of following up, nothing was done. Even after speaking directly with the director, who promised it would be fixed that same day, I never received the credit. To make matters worse, I registered my son for basketball because practices were listed as Thursdays, which worked with our schedule. The Monday night before the first practice, I received an email stating there had been an error and practices were now being moved to Tuesdays. This meant the change went into effect immediately, with families expected to attend practice the very next day, instead of the Thursday schedule we originally registered for. There was no phone call, no opportunity to adjust, and no consideration for families who had planned around the original schedule. After more unanswered calls and being told once again that everything had to go through the same director, I canceled my membership. While the staff was always friendly, the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability from management was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this YMCA.
