Service during estimate was a cut above all other roofing estimators I engaged, out of 6 companies. It gave me confidence that the estimator made recommendations about what work needed to be done, and work that did not need to be done; some gutters were in good condition and he said to not replace those but to replace the ones at the back of the house that were older and in poor condition. Price was below everyone else and one estimate came in more than 50% above Heritage for the same work. Quality of materials is excellent (except they used OSB to replace plywood and I would have preferred plywood and would happily paid the cost difference if I had been given the option). I was nervous because communication was sparse after I signed the proposal. After a couple weeks, I called and got a tentative install date several weeks out, and then heard nothing for several more weeks. Service was delivered on promised date in late November, despite rain throughout November. It was truly remarkable and super impressive how they removed and replaced our roof in one day. They arrived exactly on time, got to work immediately, and finished the job in 8 hours (1500 square foot house). The large work crew was highly coordinated and efficient. They tarped around the entire house and left the premises cleaner than it was upon arrival. The finished work is beautiful. Very satisfied and highly recommend after completion of job. On April 30, 2024, Todd Felciano from Heritage Roofing came to our home to give us an estimate on replacing our roof. A few days later, we approved the bid and they set July 1 to do the work. On July 1 at 7:30 am, they arrived with their trucks with the roofing supplies and 16 workers. It was amazing how they coordinated the work among the crew. At 4:00 pm that day they cleaned up the old roof supplies from the sidewalks, courtyard, and porch and we're gone!! I recently purchased an old home that was build in Rincon Valley in 1969. It is a charming and well kept old home. I bought it knowing that it had a new roof put on within this past year. The roof looks fantastic! It is a beautiful dark grey color. Something I look for as I had this very color on my last home, and it proved to be a very versatile color as I could match nearly any exterior paint colors to it! Moving on to what began to irk me... so I get into my new home, and began to put things away and store stuff into the attic. And there I began to notice is a huge mess of shingles and construction debris from the new roof job. I kept telling myself you got this... day after day, which then became week after week of cleaning old shingles, sawdust, wood scraps and construction debris... still telling myself... You got this Anthony. It's just a mess of old shingles... but you got a nice new roof. In reality I should have called Mr. Dave Brown right off the bat!!! (I should have given Heritage a chance to help me with this mess... that's another reason why I am not holding this part against them!) So I'm up in the attic over Thanksgiving week cleaning up this mess of shingles, saw dust and wood debris, along with rat shit, dead rats and a boat load of other trash... And for whatever reason I started to noticed beams of daylight shining through from around my chimney. Mind you it's pouring rain very hard outside. So I began to look around the chimney and inspect it more and there's water leaking in and running down my brick chimney. I call and emailed Heritage as fast as I could. I was biting my nails nervously waiting and thinking that they would not get back to me. Mostly because I've had many bad experiences with contractors in the past... but low and behold, Mr. Dave Brown the owner of Heritage Roofing company called me back twice the very next day! Unfortunately I had forgotten my phone at home and was unable to speak with him. So he followed up by emailing me. And got me on his schedule the VERY next business day! The roof technician who came out was very professional and listened to my observations of the problem very closely and he inspected the chimney flashing and leak issues. He did an extremely through job fixing it. He also took the time to explain to me what he did and what his own observations were! WOW!!! What excellent customer service!!!! He also said he will come back to paint it within the next week when the caulking sealant has dried! I was cringing very badly going into this. Because it has been my experience that in the past if a construction company does a poor job cleaning up after themselves that they only care to bang out the job, so they can move on to the next one. I do NOT think that was the case here. I do think my homes previous owner was a pack rat and did not have the attic kept in a manner that would allow this company to clean up after themselves. I am refraining from showing the embarrassing photos of the mess here on yelp. Because I do not think that the roofing company is fully at fault for the mess. I think our attic was so packed with junk from the prior owners that the roofing company could not clean up properly... I am EXTREMELY thankful that there are construction companies who still care about their reputation and their clients enough to make good on a leaking roof!!! And not just care about their bottom line. Mr. Dave Brown, and heritage Roofing team my hat is off to you! Lack of taking responsibility for what could have been a horrible accident , the pipe connecting to the furnace was dislodged when the roof vent was removed while installing the roof (roof is great) however the fact remains that the dislodging of the pipe could have been a silent killer because of Carbon Monoxide , alarm did not go off it Passed city inspection because ??? Heritage Roofing Company owner, Todd Feliciano, was very helpful in the whole process of replacing my 30+ year old roof. He was very professional when he came to inspect my roof in order to prepare an estimate. He took pictures of a couple of places which needed extra attention, showed them to me and explained how they would be fixed. He uses quality materials which he described and left brochures for me to look at. He followed up his visit quickly with a reasonable quote. After I received the quote he contacted me again to answer any questions. Todd told me he had a very experienced, fast and efficient team. Well, that proved true when the crew arrived a 7:30 AM and the old roof was torn off and new layers started by lunch time! However, the front yard looked like a cyclone had hit! The repairs were done very professionally that afternoon, look great and were reasonably priced. The crew was very respectful of my property, the cleanup work was excellent and the house looked like it did before this all started that morning, except that my roof with it's new pewter gray shingles was now looking beautiful! Heritage did a great job on our roof. Now the house, built in 1954 looks really great with a new roof and rain gutters. The bid was very good, and work was fast clean and accurate, and the timing was perfect to beat the rain. We were totally buttoned up, and it rained the next day; Yes! We had a bad condition at the base of a chimney, where flashing had given way after there was water-damaged sheeting. They cut out the bad, put in the new, for one hours labor plus $25 in material, cool. The replacement flashing, included in the good bid, is by far better than what we had, and Dave had them come out separately to measure and do a custom install. This one will hold up as long as the singles. Heritage needs to be in the mix if you are needing a roof! read more

Heritage Roofing performed complete removal and re-roofing of two of our homes in Santa Rosa during the month of April 2015. Included in the bids were new gutters and downspouts. Dave, his crew and gutter partner completed these projects on time and we are exceptionally happy with the results on both jobs: one home took 1 day and the other, consisting of a large home, 3+ car garage and large storage and work shop building was a 4+ day job. Both jobs were completed within the estimates provided and approved. On the larger home we had 4 bids for the job and Heritage outbid the others by a substantial margin. Dave is able to beat the competition since he uses one highly experienced and efficient crew that have been with Heritage for many years (10+). know their jobs completely and works exclusively on one job at a time. Dave empowers his team by getting their input on the best approach for the job and works with them to put a project plan together from the start. This style of working directly with the team is noteworthy and they all go to great lengths to do exceptional quality work. Clean up on a daily basis was a big plus, and from our personal experience using many contractors over the past 20 years, their clean up was the best we've seen. The crew was focused on satisfying us, the customer, and took feedback and minor scope changes with a customer service perspective. Heritage Roofing recently put a new roof on our house. They seemed to do a good job although I didn't get on the roof to check things out - but will find out this winter! The workmen did an excellent job cleaning up and Dave Brown, the owner, was initially easy to work with. While the rooofers put on the roof my wife and I were sitting in the family room when all of a sudden the bottom of the solar tube in our family room ceiling fell on our relatively new wood floor. I was concerned not only about the floor but the solar tube. The workman said he would fix it. He had the top of the solar tube off, and I was concerned about rain leaking in. Called Dave that Friday to report the situation but never heard from him - never heard from him Saturday, Sunday or Monday! Tuesday he came over to be paid! I asked him why he didn't come out or call before this, and he said he trusted his workman and he had personal business to attend to. I explained how the workmen fixed the problem - two of them brought in a ladder that needed to be laid against something like a wall to work. I volunteered my A-Frame ladder but they said they didn't need it. One held the ladder while the other climbed up to fix the bottom of the solar tube. It looked like a circus act! The more I thought about the way it was "fixed" the more concerned I got, so I called a solar tube company to check things out. The top of the solar tube was smashed down and the entire tube had to be replaced costing me more $$$. With the way they "fixed" the solar tube, Dave ignoring my call and the additional cost to replace the damaged solar tube, my rating for this job is a 3. read more
