Enough said with picture below. Immidiately after getting my head shaved, I got this rash.

Barbershop

Professional barbershop with dope veteran barbers who know how to cut any type of hair. If you're a grown man, who cares about his appearance and appreciates a professional environment, you'll like this place Shout out to: Rene

Welcome to New York! There are no good barbers in this city (unless you pay ($$$) for a hair dresser.) So, my experience with Heritage Tonsorial was most of the same: give me your money 'cos you're leaving with your hair shorter! And don't forget the tip. (TIP, really???) So the point is that there are no good barbers in this city. They learn how to cut hair on YouTube, they cut a few dozen hairs, and that's it. They become barbers. NY. RE Heritage Tonsorial: 1. Great online booking system. I could schedule an appointment the same day. However, I was running late after a doctor's appointment, but the online website didn't let me reschedule (unless you do it 12h in advance) even though there were many empty spots after me. It's ok, not a big deal. 2. Got there. It looked cool. The barber (I guess Carley) looked cool wearing a hat and good-looking clothing. Jazz music. Good vibe. No rush. 3. It was winter, so I was wearing a hat and was sweating because I was running late and got there, literally, running. I took off my hat, and my hair was crazy. And dry. I said I was going to a wedding... but he didn't care too much. He did not ask how I wanted to get my hair cut. He did not put any water in my hair. He touched and moved my hair several times kind of "feeling it". He started cutting my hair with some "grandiose" movements reminding me Edward Scissorhands. Literally. There was a moment when he was cutting with scissors but not looking at my hair, and the scissors were just cutting in the air. He did not follow any particular order cutting it and he was not making sure the length was aligned. He relied too much on his thinning hair shears. As a result, see the picture. Also, I was about to pay and he came to me and finished shaving my neck. Was weird. Carley, without being charming and caring, had an OK vibe, though. So I did not complain. I just paid him $22 (+$5 tip.) My hair is pretty gracious so I cut my fringe at home and it looked decent. But it wasn't an exciting cut. It was a $22 hair cut. In NY, you got what you paid for.

Carly is amazing! He gave my husband a beard line up and fade and a straight razor head shave. The environment in here is relaxed classy and professional. We are visiting from LA and would definitely come here again on a future visit

Great haircut, thank you Rene and Carley!

Only hesitation in writing this review is that I might have a harder time making an appointment once people find out about this place.

First time in and got a quality haircut from Carley, complimented a couple times already and it's only been 2 days.

Krystal is incredible! From the moment we met she was attentive, warm, and genuinely cared to…read moreunderstand my hair goals. The haircut I received was perfect, and she took care to leave me with tips for styling at home. I will absolutely be recommending her to my friends.

I had a good experience a year ago with Adriana and saw that Vikki had been reviewed well online,…read moreso I chose him to cut my medium length hair into a bob. I showed a reference photo multiple times and had only one specification: please keep at least an inch of length under my chin. My hair is straight and quite easy to work with, so I was confused when he just started cutting from the back and didn't check in with me to confirm that the length felt right to me at any point. He seemed sweet and did apologize when I pointed out the major length issue (my hair now stopped above my jawline) and blamed it on the "wet to dry" transition. However, this length difference was substantial and I have a hard time understanding how a French bob could've occurred accidentally (he did request to take a photo of the before and after). This result was unfixable. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested a discount, management was kind and did grant it. While I appreciated the 30% off, I feel that I cannot recommend this stylist -- I now feel incredibly self-conscious and have to wait months for my hair to even reach a length that feels comfortable.
