It's part resort, part convention center, part indoor botanical garden, and part entertainment destination. You could easily spend hours just wandering through the property. The highlight for me was the massive glass conservatories. They're filled with waterfalls, tropical plants, winding paths, and plenty of quiet spots to sit and take it all in. It's beautiful and unlike any other hotel I've visited. The property is a little dated in places, and I noticed a lingering smoke smell in some areas, which surprised me for a Marriott property. Because it's so large, be prepared to do a lot of walking. Fortunately, there are plenty of signs to help you find your way. Valet parking is available, and there are numerous restaurants and shops throughout the resort. Even if you're not staying overnight, I'd recommend stopping by to explore the atriums, grab a meal, or simply enjoy the atmosphere. It's one of those places that's hard to appreciate until you see it in person. Life is too short not to travel. Get out there, explore someplace new, and make some memories.

We needed to valet, check-in and assistance getting to our rooms. Most of us had at least THREE pieces of luggage! The resort is mammoth in size and it takes a few days to learn your way around even with a map. There's plenty of food options and many spaces to relax and enjoy the lovely waterfalls and plants. Some rooms have a balcony that faces the Atrium which added to the allure. Housekeeping staff were nice and ensured the rooms were thoroughly cleaned and that we had enough water. I enjoyed the boat ride and once I got my bearings, I was able to navigate the resort with ease. We had some storms that resulted in a power outage. That was interesting but everything was restored relatively quickly. I enjoyed the fireworks on Saturday night. I needed bell service on Sunday and Kyle was EXCEPTIONAL! He swiftly gathered my things and made sure I got to the shuttle bus which was ABOVE and BEYOND! There were so many of us that team had to call in out of town reinforcement. Only downside my room had NO VIEW. It was in the Magnolia section and the best part was its proximity to the convention center. Hopefully next time I can get a room with a balcony! Overall I enjoyed my six night stay and look forward to returning when I am on vacation!

Secondly, we specifically only looked at venues that allowed a rehearsal the night before, rather than the newly popular day of rehearsal, so I am 100% sure I asked. It was a criterion on my venue selection spreadsheet. When it got to planning, suddenly they said no we never said that, you cannot rehearse the day before unless there is no Friday wedding. I wait, there is no Friday wedding. Suddenly the response is "I mean I guess we could but there will be no coordinator and no DJ there to help rehearse. Why do you even care?" the gaslighting was astronomical. Additionally, our coordinator changed two separate times, and it felt like they did not remember a single thing I said about how I wanted the day to go or have any organized documents. When we met, I was constantly repeating myself and the owner would be shuffling through pages and pages of my emails printed rather than any type of organized documents. During day of coordination, my MIL hardly got to enjoy the day because they were so short staffed she basically turned into the coordinator. She ended up helping them find more golf carts day of when theirs weren't working. The DJ they provide was very unprofessional, he completely disregarded notes about a speech to happen during the mother son dance, was calling me with questions about my preferences (that id provided weeks prior) during the MORNING OF MY WEDDING. He also cut dancing 30 minutes short when I paid a ton of money for extra time. They also market the bridal suites as a place to get ready, then strongly discourage it or ask you to pay thousands of dollars extra for a few (insufficient) hours. There wasn't enough food and they did not understand the differences between vegetarian vegan and dairy free. These vegan plates were also given to whoever without them first asking if they'd selected the vegan option, so a couple vegans went hungry. As far as positives, I had a great experience with our coordinator, Lynn, when she was assisting us. Food was good, but cold. Bartenders were amazing. Space was beautiful. I had another venue listed as my #1 but ended up choosing this venue for price, but with all the add ons and additional prices it ended up being more expensive!

The first thing I noticed is there is plenty of free parking, so I don't have to park down the street or pay to park. Next I noticed that it is really well designed. The interior is a tasteful modern decor that is comfortable and welcoming for spending long amounts of time. The decor has a little bit of a fun feel which makes meetings better. There seems to be a few different buildings tied in with Center 615 and I am curious about the other buildings. I recommend for a space for office and meeting needs.

Ample street parking is available for guests. My only gripe would be the occasional roar of traffic or passing semi trucks on the nearby interstate during an intimate outdoor ceremony. However, its not enough to dock this place a full star. Although I didn't get to see it I do know that there is an upstairs room available as well. Great venue all around.
