I received a rhinoplasty and chin liposuction 1 and half years ago. This Dr botched my nose and my chin from the liposuction. He promised it would look like the pictures he created. It wasn't until after I paid and after the surgeries that he said he couldn't guarantee results but he never said that before I went through with it. Another Dr has to fix his mess and told me the rhinoplasty was the worst he's ever seen, along with the chin liposuction. He didn't go all the way through, he went half way, causing a double chin, which I didn't have before and I do not gain weight. I've been 120 since high school. He did not address the issues I asked. The tip was to be removed like the picture which was my main concern. Instead, the tip was left in tact, not even addressed, and he made my nose bulky and changed my nostrils which I did not ask for and my nose looks worse than it did originally. I went with him bc he was affordable but I realize now he's affordable bc he doesn't know faces. He did the surgery without addressing the actual issue and created an asymmetrical nose when it was symmetrical, all I needed was the tip removed. Don't go with this Dr just because he's affordable. I found a better Dr who charges more, however, his rhinoplasty reviews are all positive, not like here, most of these reviews are body surgeries, not the face. I would not recommend him if you want the results you pay for. The rhinoplasty completely destroyed my face and one nostril is bigger than the other. I recommend saving for a bit longer, don't choose this office just because it's affordable. You will get what you pay for and I know that now. He even yelled at me for calling him out and when I left the room, two patients waiting in the lobby told me they couldn't believe he raised his voice at me bc they heard him. This Dr destroyed my face, created asymmetrical nostrils, did not address the tip which the picture clearly showed was the only area to touch, destroyed my chin, which I had done to create a better jaw formation, instead now I have a double chin, and he lied before I paid, and after the surgery, said he couldn't promise results. If you want results, go elsewhere. This Dr lies, doesn't address the issue, and yells, which is unprofessional. I smile everyday!! I am so pleased with my physical results!! I am also so happy with Dr. Gallegos and his staff. On my first and only consultation I put down my deposit and got scheduled. He told me that I would be happy with my results and he was so right! That's why I smile when I see myself in the mirror now. All of his support staff from the front desk, to the nurses, assistants, and the finance/booking keeping were the best! They hid the Google reviews, so I'm rewriting my experience. I got liposuction, and it's botched and bumpy. Turns out I'm allergic to dissolveable stitches, and when I contacted him, he blamed me, saying I scratched them and was very rude. He kept calling me fat and lazy in the clinic. I'm pretty sure I went into hypothermic shock after anesthesia, and it was unbearable , they refused to answer why it occurred. When I would contact them to show them the mistakes, they said they would call me back and never did, and I called multiple times. Don't go here. He is not a competent surgeon, and who knows where he got his accreditation. I work in surgery, and in retrospect, he was not kosher. read more

Had my 1st ever elective reconstructive surgery, a breast augmentation for my 35th birthday in May, thought I had done my research and went to the best in the area, considering it's a 4 hour drive one way to his clinic. I was so wrong. I was a small B cup requesting a bigger cup, which he recommended 415cc to put me at a DD. Perfect! Loved them until they started settling/"dropping" over the past month. Apparently the left implant has shifted out of the pocket (which Google says is pretty common for someone with my activity level). Made the 8 hour trip yesterday to have him look at them and completely 100% write me off. He told me these things happen, they can happen from sudden movements even my partner putting laying with his weight on me during inercourse. He informed me if he did put the left into the correct position that then I would be asymmetrical and lopsided. As I was trying to process this, he continued. "Raise your arms, yeah see its not that bad, it's not worth going through the surgery and the recovery for another 8 weeks to fix it." I asked him if it would get worse, or better, or what the chances were of the other one doing the same thing, I weightlift for atleast an hour 5 days a week, and yoga the 2days im not strength training, which he was aware of at my consult. His recommendation? not doing anymore chest press or anything using those muscles...ever. yeah I clarified...EVER. I gave him 1 star, because I did only request a larger cup size, which I did get. read more

But went I got there it was more expensive. But not only that very disappointed Botox was done by nurse very rude. She told me my wrinkles won't get better with Botox. I have been going to Hermosa Plastic surgery for years. I routinely get Botox/Dysport as well as Juvederm filler. I feel I spend quite a bit of money at this place. I have also referred three people who have gotten some sort of filler. Recently, they were having a special on January 31st where it was about $100 off. I planned to pay for the procedure on the 31st to secure the discount and the procedure was scheduled for two days later. Well I lost my debit card and had to order another one. I also had it rushed so I could get it by the 31st to pay. Well it didn't come in the mail so I called Hermosa to ask if I could pay the following day as the bank said I would for sure have my card. Keep in mind this is still paying early-- I'm not asking for a procedure and to pay after-- I would still be paying before the procedure. Well without a second thought, the nurse said "Nope, you have to pay today so I will go ahead and cancel your appointment". Being a loyal customer I thought they could bend a little-- especially for $100 when I usually spend way more than that. So I would not recommend this place. I've read a lot of bad reviews on Google and otherand I don't like going to a place where they are only concerned about the dollar. Beware of going here-- They are cheap and more than likely take shortcuts to make even more money. I recommend a great place called AlluraDerm. I've also let the three people I referred to them know what happened and they will no longer be going to Hermosa. Hope that $100 was worth it to you guys! UPDATE: I was contacted a month ago by someone at the office who wanted to talk about my experience. I basically repeated what I have here in my review and she said she would speak to the doctor to see how they could make it right. Well it's been a month and I have not heard back! LOL Hermosa Plastic Surgery is even more of a joke than I originally thought. Don't call someone to "make things right" then blow it again. I went do Dr. Gallegos to get a revision tummy tuck because I wasn't happy with my scar from my original tummy tuck. When I went in for the consultation he said I was botched and he would have no problem correcting it and that it would be a simple procedure. After the procedure I had a long time recovering. I had to go in 3 times to get drained with a needle. That was very painful. He didn't put drains after the surgery because he said I didn't need them. When I went to get drained he seemed to be upset as if it was my fault. He was not personable at all. When I would ask him questions he was short never explained why. Im not happy at all with my results! I did go in for my follow up and told him I was not happy with the scar he said give it sometime and if I'm still not happy to go back to him and he'd fix it of course he would charge me. Why would I go back. My scar looks and feels worse than my original scar. It's very thick and I have lots of keloid scars also you can see the scars from the stitches. It's been 1 yr since the surgery. I honestly feel botched. I am very disappointed and embarrassed to wear a swimsuit. read more

I WOULD NOT GO BACK to Hermosa plastic surgery. I went there early this year to get my implants removed and they did a HORRIBLE JOB. I paid all that money for Dr. Gallegos to remove my implants and I am positive that he just let his surgical assistants do it without him. He didn't see me AT ALL the morning I went into the operating room. Dr. Gallegos still had not arrived by the time I was laying down strapped to the table and he was not there when I was escorted out after the procedure. On top of this, they DID NOT pre-mark my body any ANY point, much less while I was upright to guide the incisions for precision and a-symmetry. Because of this carelessness the incision on my left breast was done just ON my breast, cutting into my breast, rather than below the breast. Now the scar is deep and dimpled because it cuts into the fat of my breast and has also resulted in the bottom of my breasts being a-symmetrical. Also, this dimpled scar literally has an uncomfortable feeling/sensation on my skin whenever move in certain ways. AND THEN the incisions are larger than they should be because THEY DIDN'T POP THE INPLANTS BEFORE TAKING THEM OUT. After my surgery this one nurse (I can't remember her name, but she is the one who can supposedly get an IV in no matter how difficult) was so rude to me when I came back for a check up after I said I was not interested in the scar therapy services they offer. That girl literally slammed the door on me. I didn't even bother setting up another check-up appointment with them, and they never exercised the care or professionalism to call me to do a second one anyway. I almost pursued suing Hermosa Plastic Surgery and Dr. Gallegos but I was in the middle of a difficult divorce during this time and I shared with Dr. Gallegos that I wanted my implants out because my soon to be ex-husband wouldn't allow me to get them removed when we were together. I left an abusive marriage and I finally had my freedom back to exercise my basic freedoms. I paid and trusted Dr. Gallegos to do a very basic procedure that was very important and symbolic for me. It turned out to be humiliating and heart-breaking. I regret going to Dr. Gallegos so badly. I shared this experience on their Facebook page and they deleted my comment, blocked me so that I could not expose my experience or even write a review. They censor their comments and reviews to place themselves strictly in an inaccurate positive light. This is serious because it has to do with people who are considering invasively altering their bodies. How can they make the best decision for themselves when the reviews are censored. He was so professional with a skillful hand. He calmed my nerves and reassured me he could help. Loved them! I had my nose done about a year ago this month. The doctor told me it would take up to a year for my nose to fully heal and be just as I wanted. I waited about 2 months and it was already perfect. After a year I could not be happier. I'm very grateful. Dr. Gallegos is very unprofessional. He made inappropriate comments about my body and tried to sell me procedures I did not ask for. Upon consulting with other doctors in the area I discovered I was not even a candidate for said procedures. I was so displeased with the experience I decided to not have surgery with him. I would first off like to say I do not write this review to make a bad impression on the clinic nor the provider, but to share my experience with potential clients. After making the decision to have selective surgery done, I begin researching my options and setting appointments with several providers to ensure I made the right decision. My first consultation was scheduled with Dr. Gallegos at Hermosa Plastic Surgery and unfortunately, my experience was by far the worst I had. My first impression of the facility was a positive one as I was kindly greeted with a friendly smile and was asked to fill out quite a bit of information as I waited. Before I was able to complete half of the first page, I was called back. As I was getting prepped, the assistant told me I didn't have to finish the paperwork because they wanted to hurry and get me seen so Dr. Gallegos could get out of there. This was the first red flag. When Dr. Gallegos entered, he quickly introduced himself, asked me to open my gown and took a quick glance at the work he would be doing. At this point, I felt very uncomfortable being exposed to someone who didn't want to be there. As I covered up, Dr. Gallegos begin giving me the rundown of the procedure, being sure to rush through it. He then asked if I had any questions in which I prepared a good amount of in advance. I pulled out my packet of questions and noticed Dr. Gallegos didn't seem too thrilled about it. I read him my first question, which I feel was valid due to my health condition but seemed to have irritated him due to the response I received which made me feel ludicrous. He then told me he will just fill in the answers to my questions himself and proceeded to grab them out of my hand being sure to mention "how good" he is at his job several times. When I asked to see pictures of patients who were unhappy with their outcome, he looked at me and said he does not have unhappy clients because he is "that good" at his job, and any unhappy clients are just those type of people that nothing makes them happy. By this point, I was uncomfortable asking for clarification on his answers and wanted to get out of there just as fast as he did. I know that obligations come up whether they are expected or not and would have been understanding if he needed to reschedule. Having any type of surgery for anyone is a big deal. When it is selective however, we would want to be sure we are in good care. read more

So it's been a year ago since I had my procedure done, lipo for arm, bra roll, thigh and chin I paid 5k. After two week I already know that no changed or no improvement, he insisted that I have to week 3 months, Three months gone by and still no changed, I told Dr Gallegos that there's no changed on the areas he worked on, his response was blamed on my body that I had a loose skin and the procedure doesn't work for me (I got everything recorded on my phone) he also make a bad comments to my previous plastic surgeon doctor. If this procedure doesn't work for me then why did you do it, instead he recommended another surgery to lift a loose skin that will cost me another 5k. I never come back and I still payment my 5K loan for these procedure. My left arm had a visible deep line about 4 inches long from lipo. Customers, who want a lipo procedure you need to be careful, try one area at the time if you get it all done and you're not happy the procedure is not refundable, you may end up like me still paying loan with no result. read more
