From scheduling, through the procedure and afterwards they were all amazing! With particular anxiety around dental work they explained every step of the procedure and checked in with me throughout. As a testament to the care and concern for patients, I took particularly note that I was not tightly scheduled in between two other procedures. Rather I was scheduled for 1 hour for a 30 minute procedure allowing plenty of time to ask questions. Finally, their covid procedures were thorough and visible throughout the office. I felt completely comfortable from the moment I entered the office. Thank you Dr. Fields and team for everything!

Every other doctor I have, has a voicemail setup that says at the end:"in case of emergency call 911". Dr. D's office offers a phone number for an emergency and when I had the worst pain I've ever experienced in my mouth on a long holiday weekend, they answered my plea for help and rushed a prescription that Stopped my my trauma in just a few short hours. He is an absolute Saint and there is no one like him in the medical field that I've ever encountered. On top of that his staff such as Kathleen are incredible. If You have gum issues, need an implant, or an extraction, there is absolutely no better place in the Washington DC area than the office of Dr.Doppalapoudi! He was away visiting family but responded right away. When description failed, I sent him yukky pictures. He told me what to do and who to see--the dentist who treats his family. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Sperling for gum graft using donor tissue…read more I went in for a consult and they were able to get me in for surgery quickly. Although I postponed the procedure was simple. Dr. Sperling was confident in her ability and it showed. On game day I popped a pill, had my mom drive me over and It was done. I awoke and was good to go. I had to refrain from drinking (and smoking if you smoke) for two weeks and be careful not do so things that caused my mouth to open too wide like eating chewy food and... *gasp* smile. LOL But it was an otherwise easy experience. Only downside was not being able to brush my teeth for two weeks. The mouthwash I had to use caused staining but Dr. Sperling had a hygienist who was able to clean it right up (as you can see in the picture)!
